As one of the few Europeans on here,il keep an eye out for ya mate, cant make any promises mind....

I had won a loose and incomplete one for $150.00 on Ebay a few years ago. I sold it for around $225.00 two years ago.

European? These Batman figure are most common in England so keep an wye for me please.

RexLewis85 01-11-2012 09:30 PM

I guess I have a few..first off, any of the Hot Toys Dark Knight Jokers, The Hot Toys Scarecrow that came out recently, also the Movie Masters Joker as Gotham City Thug, Honor Guard Joker from the Legacy two pack, and the 12 inch TRU exclusive Movie Masters Joker. Non Batman stuff includes: Any Sideshow Freddy Krueger figure, the complete Swamp Thing animated series action figure line, Mezco Cinema of fear series 2 Leatherface, Mezco Cinema of fear series 3 Leatherface. As for grails I've managed to get, I have the complete The Shadow movie action figure line, and the DCUC CnC Bane.

Assuming I ever find MISB/MOSC versions of my grails, it might be really hard for me to justify opening them. Thankfully, I'd prefer mine to be loose when I get them, anyway.

Besides, I don't even want to think about the price range for a MISB Transformers G1 Fortress Maximus.

That would be Henery Hawk. ;)

(I used to work at a WB Studio Store. It was our job to know all of the characters' names.)

The Hot Toys Joker wouldn't be that hard to acquire, hell, I have an extra (minus the box and stuff).

My current top 5 "grails"

1 - Microman Surveyor 3 1977 Command Series - Surveyor Micronauts was my big thing as a kid, and this one was a Japanese only release. I've seen PARTS of it for sale once...We had a US version called Star Defender but it is a LOT different.

2 - Jumbo Machinder Voltes V ...One of my favorite Shogun Warriors, but the last one I saw for sale was offered at $14,000!!!

3 - 12" Magma Taishi (Goldar) from Space Giants. I'm seeing his price come down lately (They used to be $1000+ at my local import shop...I'm startign to see him around the $400 range boxed, but I'd love to save some $$$ by buying him loose)

4 - Jumbo Machinder Leopardon....The Shogun Warrior giant robot for Spider-Man :D

5 - Gekiganger III Soul of Chogokin kit. Sold at Wonderfest YEARS ago it converts a SOC Mazinger into Gekiganger III and I really love that super robot design. I've only seen one for sale in 7-8 years of searching and despite placing what I thought was an insane bid...lost

http://i371.photobucket.com/albums/o...5/1ae1e17b.jpg

Holy grails I've acquired

Fortress Maximus
Gbp-1s takatoku
Gakken cyclone
Gi joe defiant , Uss Flagg , cobra missile hq
Clash of the titans kraken

Salsa Verde 02-19-2012 02:08 PM

Since I'm a huge Tron geek, my holy grail would be this:

http://i691.photobucket.com/albums/v...r4j/Castor.jpg

According to what I've read, it was due to come out in series two... but due to the actor no approving the likeness? It was pulled after about 150 to 200 were made. There are some out there, but near impossible to find and if they know the rarity of the figure? Priced well out of range.

Of course the irony of this is that the 3" Spinmaster figures were pretty bad. The lighting gimmick was neat, but over all? Unimpressive.

Blastbull 02-19-2012 02:32 PM

Arkham Asylum Series 2 Bane. Costs like 130$ now and I dont have money like that at 18 to spend on action figures :(

MegaPrime33 02-19-2012 03:11 PM

Boy, good question. I think since I've been out of the game for awhile it's harder to answer because there isn't really one thing that I absolutely want. With that said here is a list of things that it would be awesome to have.

GI Joe Defiant
Original Thundertank
Original Turtle Van
Technodrome
Vintage Vader Tie Fighter
Grand Maximus
Master Replicas Dooku Saber
MASK Rhino
Original Cats Lair
Castle Greyskull (wish I had my original)

There are a bunch of other stuff that would be awesome. I think for me I've had most of my stuff in storage so I hardly ever see anything.

Thanks! I was so bummed out when I heard Castor got yanked - he was one of my favorite characters in the latest film.

proteus 05-14-2012 04:58 AM

Can't wait to see some awesome pics, congrats again.

Crazy Jetty 05-15-2012 10:28 AM

Over the last two weeks, I've actually aquired *two* of my lesser grails!
An absolutely gorgeous G1 Swoop, in beautiful condition, free of charge!
And a copy of Lunar 2 on PS1, for $50 (it's been years since I saw it for less than $100)

behindthemask 05-15-2012 12:03 PM

I've gotten a few recently, got my ML series 6 Deadpool MOC. And Marvel Icons Cap and Wolverine, awesome figures and some of my holy grails checked off. BigHankCustoms is helping me find some others as well.

Primacron 05-15-2012 12:21 PM

My holy grail (which I have) is Deszaras/Deathsaurus, the Destron leader from the Japanese Transformers series Victory. He has the unique distinction of being in capital letters in my collection spreadsheet.

Black Zarak (which I don't own) isn't far behind but given he's a repaint/slight remold I don't hold him in such high esteem (rareness/gps issues aside).

LapuLapu 05-15-2012 01:39 PM

My Holy Grail will be this giant Mecha from the 70s. "Lets volt in!!"

Ninjinister 05-15-2012 01:42 PM

Mine would have to be a carded Purple Armor Super Shredder from the original TMNT line. It was only available in Europe and the material the armor is made from is terribly fragile. I have a few loose ones but the only time I'd won a carded one I got screwed.

shortysben 05-15-2012 01:53 PM

Yeah, I actually just got two of mine as well...ML Sentinel, and ML Giant Man, best part about it, I got to open both, and ASSEMBLE them...see what I did there?

eva00kai 05-15-2012 01:56 PM

Wow after reading some of these mine seems kinda sad lol.

I used to have a set of Palisades Resident Evil figures that were lost during a move. Id like nothing more than to get the replaced but the prices I seem them for just aren't in my budget.
