I bought some custom heads from Onyx Productons last month and hopefully they'll arrive soon- got a Baron zemo head I cant wait to use...though I doubt it'll look as great as the guy (forget his name) making one in the Customs forums.

I dont do Nazi stuff, so no SS logos- it just feels wrong...plus I have to print the decals at work and I shave my head so people would definintely get the wrong impression...no a rep i want to have.

I already made a gaggle of hydra and Shield and even Hammer patches- plus several Kree emblems...I cant think of anything else off hand.
Maybe some Fantastic Four "4" emblems in case I decide to tweak the box set...

My little sister is doing a powerpoint about Adolf Hitler for a "Leaders" project, and needed me to help her set it up. That guy's history gives me the creeps.

Did anyone notice Prof X legs? only front and back articulation. I guess they made him that way so he could fit in his hover chair. =(

They are, also wasn't half of the Nazi symbolism borrowed from other things?

I believe the SS symbol was actual Zeus's lightning bolts, I think the swastika was something symbolizing power. As well as the Eagle, and let's not forget the iron cross.

Still so very evil, and fucked up.

got a good pic of it? so far only seen fuzzy images and from what i saw it looks like it was sorta like the SDCC Destro or at least the arms and the legs looked like they didnt have double hinged knees. so assumed they were more like the suited destro toy kinda but retooled.

Check it out, what do you think?

it will be identical to the custom I made using the ML size professor x figure and the tony stark headsculpt from the ML 2pack. it will work great, I just hate destroying a good figure to make another, I'd rather find some cheap piece of crap figure with a nice suit and just pop the head on, ... aww well.

Tiberius 01-14-2012 10:59 PM

Lol forgot to bid on Taskmaster...no one won haha. Oh well, if I forgot then it isn't worth it at the moment lol.

hmm... man i wish they had him outside of the chair too for clarification. looks like he may not even have a swivel hinge neck either.

LUCKYDUBE 01-14-2012 11:24 PM

His upper legs look narrow and straight with only front and back articulation. Reminds me of MASK figures with that leg articulation so they could slide right in their vehicles. I could be wrong.

LUCKYDUBE 01-14-2012 11:27 PM

I saw a super clear pic of him out the chair but cant seem to find the pic. Im convinced that his legs will blow.

mikefavata 01-14-2012 11:30 PM

Aren't his legs supposed to be crappy anyways? It makes the figure more comic accurate.

NoodleChow 01-14-2012 11:31 PM

was at NYCC and they only had the chair out the day i went which was also the marvel panel day. wish i'd gone the next day to see the prof up close and maybe ask the hasbro guys for a shot outside the chair.

might be possible he'll have lateral movement in his hips but yeah looks like the old style joints.

haha might as well make it like the movie prof x figure where his legs were all loosey goosey.

Lol, yeah but if you want the suit for customs then it would suck.

word, which is half the reason for me being him, I mean I'll be getting 1 to keep unaltered but a 2nd to use for a tony stark body would of been decent. I do like the use of multiple man body being used.

yourfacehere 01-15-2012 12:22 AM

There any way to add in hip articulation?

Boba Fettuccini 01-15-2012 02:18 AM

Yeah, you could manually cut out a hip joint like on DCU figures or Avatar figures.

DogFashionDisco 01-15-2012 12:33 PM

Is that figure going to fit on a standard card? He must be apart of a larger set.

But that jacket is only splayed out at the bottom to allow for side-to-side articulation as well...

I'm intrigued, how so?

Boba Fettuccini 01-15-2012 02:41 PM

It's... hard to explain, and even harder to do. I'm not sure I could adequately show it.
