I went to Walmart here in Atlanta today and they had ample yellow/Blue Goliaths, infact they didnt have any Red/Blue versions so I guess it all depends on where you are. I bought one of each though and there GREAT figures, everyone had me worried I wouldnt be able to find yellow Goliath lol. They had like 20

DrewBlank 10-28-2009 07:15 PM

I picked up a blue and yellow Goliath at the Nicholasville, Kentucky Wal-Mart tonight. They still had 4 skrulls and 3 Goliaths (all yellow).

At $26 each, I don't think these are going to be hard to find.

And what is up with the Blue and Red repaint? It doesn't look like anything that I've ever seen. At least if they had gone with the brown Erik Josten paint scheme it would have looked like something from the comic.

deceptifocus 10-28-2009 07:54 PM

well the red and blue is whats in the comic, even tho hes yellow on the cover, ugh anyone got some yellow and blues to spare?

Johnnyakiba 10-28-2009 09:55 PM

Honestly I love all the versions but I would have liked to see a Giant Man first. Hank Pym has had so many costume changes, they could made a figure series of its own.

Enigma2K2 10-28-2009 09:56 PM

Anyone find the irony of using the word "Gigantic" to advertise for the Universe line?

Nope, find it appropriate actually. You have huge figures, and small figures now, and the small figures are at a decent enough price to have a lot of them for gigantic battles with the big figure.

Still no goliath here, but I'll check again tomorrow.

Tarquinius 10-29-2009 08:01 AM

I haven't found any in Maryland.

Another other Marylander/Virginia/Penn people find them?

Greenskar 10-29-2009 12:20 PM

Soooooo, has anyone in Cali found any of these yet? We finally have wave 5 MU figures...but still no GB's at any walmarts : (

Hey, in your sig you have a picture of Phoenix, what line is that from???

ams 10-29-2009 02:11 PM

I'm looking to pick up the Iron Man from this set if anyone doesn't need theirs. Will do $15 shipped via Paypal.

Shoot me a PM here or on TFW if you're willing to part with him. Thanks!

Hey when I get my set I'd def sell ya the Iron Man.

Johnnyakiba 10-29-2009 06:38 PM

I still have not found the Goliath yet. I am hoping to find it Saturday sometime....

Snowflakian 11-01-2009 01:40 AM

Stumbled on him at a random walmart run yesterday.
If anyone wants to make it easier on themselves to call ahead the item number is
70043498

Ended up getting the Red Blue Goliath, but whatever, finally have a 'giant man' for my collection. But just wow are the joints tight. They do indeed ratchet but mine feels so tight I feel like I'm breaking him everytime I try to pose him. Haven't opened the skrull cap pack to see how tight that one is yet.

DrewBlank 11-01-2009 07:24 AM

Has anyone else been able to get their Goliath into a crouching position? The hip joints don't move on mine, and I can't tell if it's built that way or if I need to force it.

Does that item number work for both or just one?

Greenskar 11-01-2009 03:03 PM

My roommate picked up a Giant Skrull/Bucky Cap for me yesterday at a Walmart in Long Beach, so that's good news to those Californian collectors on here that haven't found him yet. Bucky Cap's paint job on mine was flawless, imo, didn't feel the need to make any fixes at all. He's easily the best figure of the line for me so far.

The giant skrull is very well detailed, particulary in the new head skulpt, but I have some trouble getting him into more dynamic poses to the the limitations in the rachet joints of the hip.

I actually don't have much interest in the Ditko Iron Man or the Goliath, so I'm passing on that one.

Should work for both. It was the tag the GBPs were on.

Tarquinius 11-09-2009 07:25 PM

Anybody got any tips on how to loosen the joints? I know which ones are ratchets are which ones are just "stubborn".

I'm not familar with the blowdryer method etc, so any info would be great

cabrican 11-12-2009 08:25 PM

i picked up giantman/im at walmart in thornton, colorado, there were about 10 left. the price turned me off at first but im glad i bought it. anybody know if the phasing vision variant is being shipped with the regular series 2 figures?

Jakethy 02-04-2010 09:15 PM

I'm having a real problem that others have mentioned: can't get the hip joints on Goliath to swing forward so he can sit. Frustrating when it comes to displays. Any suggestions? Brute force? Heat gun? Are his legs even supposed to move that way? Please help.

Prem1x 02-04-2010 09:57 PM

Heat him up with a hair dryer. And I think the joints pivot at a 45% angle. I've got main in a sit pose right now, so it can be done.
