Say whaaat? Mr. Freeze? I do hope you're joking. I love the guy, especially after the Bruce Timm story make-over, but he'll never be up there with the big 4. That's like putting Tito Santana up there with Hulk Hogan and Andre the Giant as "well known wrestlers". Tito was great, in most ways better than either of those two, but you won't find him up there with Hulk Hogan, Andre the Giant and Undertaker. And if you're reading this and wondering what the heck I'm talking about and only know Hulk, Andre and the Taker, then that proves my point. It's like a game of Family Feud and I don't think Freeze would make it on the top 4 of that survey. Top 8, definitely but it'd be a landslide difference with the top tier for sure. Plus most people only know Arnold as Freeze and that's just sad... :)

I would disagree. We're speaking about the general public who's very uninformed about the world of comics.
Freeze is very well known, and I think he'd come up about 6th or 7th. But He's not in the same league as those four. And I think Twoface would get named before Freeze.

Right. Speaking as someone who does not know the first thing about wrasslin',
This is the first time I've ever heard of Tito Santana. But I sure as hell know who those other three are.

I would put Two-Face at number five, after the four thechris mentioned. Freeze would probably come in at six with Harley, Ivy and maybe Bane or Scarecrow due to their prominence in the films.

That is not my personal top ten list, though.

DogFashionDisco 02-21-2012 04:47 PM

Yeah, I see where you guys are coming from. My top five includes Mr. Freeze though.

I would agree with that list for sure. Also not my personal top list but as far as name value, that'd be a pretty accurate list IMO. :)

Yeah I think after the top four, the next four are up for debate. Freeze definitely ranks up there, though.

Victor Zsasz is Batmans most hated criminal due to his gruesome indiscriminate killing. Even though hes not a big character that should definitely rank him up there above Harley

Interesting choice, I wouldn't expect anyone to list him. He is a creepy bastard, thats for sure.

That's not what we're talking about. The list we're referring to is all about name recognition outside of the comics fandom. Unless they're a comic fan, I doubt you'd find anyone who would know who Victor is, let alone put him in the same group as the ones we've mentioned.
