i'm just happy to see production versions of the next 2 waves. i was hoping to see more stuff but i realized it's not really a convention and more of a private press and industry event.

Spacemafia 02-13-2012 03:52 PM

Maybe Onyx can make a new head for Beast....more old school....

Nexodusrex 02-13-2012 03:54 PM

I'd rather have modern Rogue with her green suit that shows a little skin and cloak.

fyi, for any reading this, when I get the Astonishing Beast, I will be selling my Showdown Blue Beast to the highest bidder. muahahaha

Onyx and the OPP boys should be hired by Hasbro.

that's if they're not already on the payroll. ;)

I dont need era specific costumes to make a team.....I just want a good version of that Character...

I dont have certain teams in certain looks on a shelf. If its a good look I loved then Ill put them with whoever....

Agreed, whatever look is fine. They'll probably do multiple variants of her in the future like Ms. Marvel and Storm the 2 most female with remolds/variants.

SH0CKWAVE 02-13-2012 04:16 PM

Kang
She-Hulk
Puck
Angel
Kraven
Hulk
Scarlet Witch
Nova
Hercules
FF Spidey
Punisher
Mandarin (red)
Beta Ray Bill
Nighthawk
and BEAST!!!

all MUST haves for this fella.

Travis King 02-13-2012 04:35 PM

Same here. I 'll scour the earth for em'

Saint Phe 02-13-2012 06:12 PM

I remember the days of old when Toy Fair was pretty much the ONLY glimpse at "far future" product. SDCC hasn't always been the juggernaut it is now. I've had a hard time adjusting my expectations to 6 or 7 months down the line, and I'm sure some other older collectors have too. Don't be so hard on the people complaining.

Yeah MODOK was a rumor last year.

It is 90's Rogue, it's from people who have seen the slide show.

NoodleChow 02-13-2012 07:26 PM

wait, what'd they say exactly? i just remember they mentioned a guy in a chair and people thought prof x or modok. or i vaguely remember that from one of the previous cons.

i just waiting their marvel legends wave 3 is come out, just see blade and us agent only, since wave 1 and 2 will soon coming out so its mean hasbro must prepare their 3rd wave for marvel legends. i also want to know wave 4 and more.

for MU, thats too bad they are still display the same figures from last NYCC and SDCC, i just want to know which figure will come out in wave 4 beside prof x, jubilee, blastaar.

Comic pack is a jerk, first series is really dissapointed, not fresh figures and just a little creativity on them. seriously, i think hasbro can do better for this series beside MU single pack, they can make new figure for single pack, i think they can do the best for comic pack series also, im only see the ant man figure only is the newest figure for comic pack this year, the rest is re-issue,darn

That's so funny. I was reading your post and I thought of you, just by recognizing the way you write :) I should have recognized your username since I see it all the time in your email signature :)

In regards to Beast, if only it were that easy. This version has really hairy arms and legs, as opposed to furry.

Any chance Hasbro will reveal some of the new announced figures at Wondercon next month? I've only been to one Wondercon, and I was there to meet the cast of Firefly and Joss, so I didn't really get a chance to check out the vendor stuff

boombatty 02-15-2012 06:33 AM

Wouldn't it be nice if the Moonknight 2 pack used the new Bullseye/DD buck instead of the old Bullseye/DD buck...

It's not hard to do, but if they did that, MK would need a new head- the old head and body being soooo much smaller!
See the difference between the Rogers body and the old MK? Even then, the head was way too small.

It was in the front page live blog as it happened:

Hasbro Media Day Toyfair 2012 Live!

The MU commentary starts at 3:15 and Rogue is at 3:20 :)

Nope I don't expect them to. They usually just announce things at SDCC & NYCC.

Jason Abbadon 02-15-2012 07:40 PM

Just ask in the "Ask Hasbro" thread- those always get a reply.
