As long as we get a good movie Spidey out of this line I'm happy. If they make a MJ that looks better than the balloon-faced MU version I'll buy that too.

snake5289 03-05-2012 06:27 PM

I actually like this Spidey minus the gimicky arm cannon of course.

bmorr 03-05-2012 06:32 PM

the....T waist. What is this, the 80s? no, scratch that. 80s joes had better articulation

snake5289 03-05-2012 06:34 PM

The waist could be better yes but honestly it doesn't bother me that much.

bmorr 03-05-2012 06:39 PM

yeah but he can only do three things. stand, sit, and march

Tiberius 03-05-2012 06:40 PM

Don't think I would even buy there suckers for 1 dollar...

Still doesn't bother me.

Tiberius 03-05-2012 06:44 PM

I'm just curious why you would want that when you can have:

http://www.dorksidetoys.com/product_...67899_zoom.jpg

I would understand if that was the only spider-man, of course. But why settle for mediocre when you can have excellence?

bmorr 03-05-2012 06:58 PM

figure from 1984. SAME ARTICULATION(well, other than the arms). This is what grinds my gears.

Every one of that Spidey I've seen has horrible black paint apps. That's the one thing I like about the separate Spider-Man line in stores right now. The black lines are sculpted and look a lot better.

He posted different ones, not to mention some close ups. Also, that thread is too damn generic.

wolverine2281 03-05-2012 08:11 PM

i'm confused. i started this thread 3 days ago...anyhoo, moving on...

tristam 03-06-2012 12:40 AM

wow, t-crotches and lack of articulation.. :/

awesome. :/

Shin Densetsu 03-06-2012 01:07 AM

The Venom figure has a good sculpt but ...meh on t-crotch.

Harbinger 03-06-2012 06:54 AM

complete and utter crap. t-crotches = no sales and GL like sales. Way to step backwards hasbro...

Alienweirdo 03-06-2012 07:09 AM

That Doc Ock looks so weak! :( It doesn't even look good enough to harvest for custom parts! We're never going to get a decent 3 3/4 figure of him are we...

Maybe he bought one of those BTTF Hoverboards and isn't sure what day he's in.

D00MTR0N 03-06-2012 08:50 AM

your forgetting the companies that make the CORPS! type figures. Except those figs cost 1.88 and have the same articualtion as those spiderman toys.

Didn't CORPS! have the same articulation as the original G.I.Joe's?

bmorr 03-06-2012 04:48 PM

i was thinking of the ones they sell exclusively at walmart.

The older CORPS! figures did. They've changed to swivel hips or T hips, whatever people call them. They do have swivel waists though, which puts them above these Spidey figures which is kind of sad.
