Planet Hulk was awesome. I'd love to see Hulk get a chance to roam the cosmos again, that was good stuff. World War Hulk was also greatness, him smacking down all the heroes who did him wrong was so fun to watch.

Hands down:
Lucifer, Ex Machina, Invisibles, Fables, Constantine, Hellboy. |
Jim Lee era X-Men because I grew up with it. I've read all the New 52 #1's and was impressed. The Blackest Night and Civil War story lines really brought me back to reading comics.

Are we talking single issue, single TPB or a particular run/story arc? Because my answers would change wildly, depending on the context.
But here's some general standouts in my book: Jim Lee/Chris Claremont X-Men run, Joe Kelly's Deadpool run, Blackest Night saga, Secret Wars, Batman: Knightfall trilogy, Brian Michael Bendis' Ultimate Spider-Man run (up to around issue 30 - that's when I stopped collecting comics in general), IDW's Generation I series (up through All Hail Megatron), the entire Marvel Transformers run (it was soooo much better than the cartoon, and I really enjoyed the cartoon). |
