Barefootabe 04-19-2012 12:08 AM

im just relieved im not the only one who imagines my action figures coming alive :D lol

behindthemask 04-19-2012 12:21 AM

Imagination is one thing nobody can take from you and is 1 reason life's worth living. Toys are awesome but they'd be soo much cooler if they could move, anybody see the movie "9" would be awesome to have toys that moved like them lol.

Barefootabe 04-19-2012 12:40 AM

It reminds me of an episode of dexters laboratory where dexter wants a major glory action figure but his mom says to wait till his birthday, so he goes in his lab and makes his own figure that can fly and talk lol. It was a cool episode

Slicewing09 10-14-2012 11:41 PM

The fact that my old 12 inch Major Chip Hazard is chilling 4 feet from my bed makes me want to disregard my hero/villain ratio and just go ahead and call it quits.

MegaPrime33 10-15-2012 04:26 AM

MP Megs is so flimsy that RID Omega Prime would just bump him off the shelf. I have nothing to worry about.

Snowflakian 10-15-2012 04:29 AM

If my displays came alive... Well I'd be screwed. I sleep dead in between the evil league of evil shelf and the goodie goodie shelf.

Thankfully the transformers mortal enemies are near each other, but yeah the super hero side would probably end up with me as a casualty.

Either that, or with deadpool leading, they'd make a charge for the beer in the fridge.
... That'd still count as a tragedy for me though.

Dark Hayabusa 10-15-2012 06:15 AM

They'd all have to set up their own group therapy session, after some of the things they've been witnessed to

Snowflakian 10-15-2012 07:23 AM

I'm not sure which is scarier yet.

Wake up and they have a united front against me because of everything they've had to endure.
OR
Wake up and they're all doing Gangnam Style.

I think I'd prefere the first one. The second one might scar me for life.

redfox 10-15-2012 08:49 AM

I wouldn't be able to sleep. The thought of "What the hell is Deadpool doing to my cat?!?" what keep me up all night.

BlackRazor 10-15-2012 10:20 AM

I've used ebay & Temple of Doom figures to build a pretty good Taliban/ISI army - I would not want to wake up & be @ their mercy!

FancyPants 10-15-2012 10:23 AM

Well I feel you btm. Mine fall off the shelf and attack my wife regularly. So i believe when she says things about them, they attack.

I would agree waking up to all of my figures dancing gangnam style... Thats scary stuff.

Dark Hayabusa 10-15-2012 10:53 AM

Scary? I think you mean awesome

Gundam Stop Motion Dance

c2close 10-15-2012 11:51 AM

I think if my ben grimm shelf will come alive. It will be a clobberin time here in my room

brianregan09 10-15-2012 01:32 PM

I think i'd be more or less screwed with all the villains i have , Especially if they started plotting together, Cobra, thanos, Megatron, Galactus, Unicron, Doom, Red Skull, Lex Luthor, Arkillo, Magneto, Sinestro......im getting chills

hrothgars 10-15-2012 01:42 PM

I'm confident MP Prime would protect us. I don't have a Galactus to worry about. Parallax Hal Jordan may give us some trouble for a while, but we'll figure something out.

I don't think you have as much to worry about there, my friend.

That line-up would end up fighting one another, pretty quickly. Not many of them have the ability to get along, and those who could are intellegent enough to get away from the others.

Sinestro, Magneto, and Luthor (Unless it's Orange Lantern Luthor) would get away from the others, and they're not as outright violent. Arkillo would follow Sinestro like a puppydog, and wouldn't act without his command.

Unicron and Galactus would immidiately try to destroy one another, and Doom, and Redskull would probably try to jockey for who get's control of Megatron's gun mode.
I'm not sure which Cobra you're referring to, if that's Cobra Commander, or someone else going by just "Cobra." Not sure where Thanos would fit in, though.

Villains coming to life isn't as scarey as people tend to make them out.
I'd be more worried about insane anti-heroes like Wolverine and Punisher.

I don't know.
I was pretty scarred after watching this.

So imagining all my figures do that... Yeah, I fear waking up with deadpool shaking his buttocks in my face.

Nice where's that image come from of X and Dead?

The MMD models.
X-23 was converted from the DemonBoy(Deviantart and more) MvC3 ripped model, converted to MMD by driftingsnow(Deviantart), then rigged up for animation by LittleAerith(Deviantart).

The Deadpool model was converted from Crofty's XNALara model rip from MvC3 by Valforwing(Deviantart), and then rigged up by I forget. (Google searching for the MMD model should pop it up pretty fast.)

The parking garage was converted from XNALara to MMD by DriftingSnow(Deviantart).
Then it's just using Cook terrance toon shaders for the characters, Adultshader v13 for the scenery, and then Diffusion 7 on it all.
The full video will hopefully be up later this month (aiming for next Tuesday...), but that depends on space restrictions by then.

The motion is from [MMD] Gangnam Style (Full Motion Download)

And just to add to the shamelessness.
You can find more pics like this here.

Do you know anyone that would want to see Captain America and Ironman doing it?
Back on topic... That's a disturbing thought too. Commander Rogers and Bleeding edge ironman. xDDDD

KITT 11-14-2012 03:44 PM

This may not apply, but I've imagined myself as a living toy. The same size as MOTUC. This fantasy usually occurs when I am admiring my Teela figure.

DHeezy81 11-14-2012 04:56 PM

If mine came to life 85% of them would die promptly due to suffocation. Unless the loose ones freed the MOC ones. In which case they might kill me in my sleep for keeping them entombed for so long.

lmao!!! mine would do the same! but that damn ht predalien would peck at me till i died! maybe the big spidey would help me....

Optimus Neeson 11-25-2012 12:43 PM

The Autobots, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, and Halo Spartans would turn my room into a fortress of badassery. I only have a handful of villain toys.

I've also got protagonist Joes, a Thorin Oakenshield toy, a bunch of Jedi, Trunks and Goku from DBZ.
I think the only real threats to my room would be my Decepticons and a NECA Gremlin; and possibly my dinosaurs - but even they are good guys in my eyes.

Autoclot 01-10-2013 02:09 PM

At the moment I feel quite safe, as although I have a substantial number of Autobot Transformers versus Decepticons and a bunch of Boba Fett figures / statues, I have the lifes-size Connor from Assassins Creed III with access to Portal guns. He'd get rid of any threat pretty quickly :)

In the next few weeks, however, I'll have the life-size T-800 and Darth Malgus statues from Sideshow.

I may not survive that particular battle...
