Does anyone know if the 2007 Optimus is compatible with Jetfire?

Did you nominate it?

MegaPrime33 12-30-2009 06:07 AM

Im surprised Prime is so popular so far. Is he really that good or do most board members here just favor TFs?

its better then the first movies version but its not that great..better transformers came out I think its just the fans dominated the selection this year. to me a better figure was the deluxe sideswipe better form and function and it looked far better in accuracy then the prime. but personally I like the animated figures far better then the movie ones.

I think the reason for Prime's popularity is that he was far easier to get (both in terms of price and availability) than a lot of other amazing toys that were released in 2009.

That said, I'm still surprised Masterpiece Grimlock didn't have a better showing, especially considering the accolades he received on our sister site. Even if you didn't own one, you still had to give it some kudos as the second best MP toy to date (IMHO). Too bad I have to wait until he gets released stateside before I can own one myself.

MegaPrime33 01-03-2010 04:36 PM

Part of me feels this is sort of biased, simply because our 2 sister sites are both GI Joe and Transformers specific. So in a way, it's not really surprising that the 2 top voted toys are from those lines. Not that it's a bad thing, but I guess not really surprising.
