yeah man, i'll prolly start some preliminary work on him soon. prolly won't be ridiculous since i just need him to be solid and look good hovering there. hoping to use casts of XMO iceman's hands for him. hinged open hands would be pretty rad i think.

i can imagine hasbro making a pretty decent version if they do tackle him. they have enough body types to choose from and all they have to do is make a head, new arms, and some shoulder flair attachment like colossus. then make a variant.

Beacuse fans can spend however long it takes and spend whatever it takes to make each custom- a fig line that takes weeks to make each fig would cost to much to produce- it'd be $50 range pricing for MU scale...and not even we Arkers are likely to spend that often....though I almost bought that Rom for $65 from some custom parts website...

yeah, customizers don't really have the end budget concerns restraining them. how much it'd cost to produce a killer super skrull? i have no idea. but i figure Hasbro has all the specialized tools and talent pool that they should be able to make something decent (aside from the time it takes for license approval and okaying of the design and sculpts) within a few days and the rest is up to the factories in china to churn em out.

Sorry I did not post here sooner. You have definitely made the jump to elite status and one of the ones that raises the bar for the rest of us to push towards! Really great work. This is a character that really does not interest me, but your work here has made it one I would buy just due to the quality of it!! Can't wait to see more from you!!

haha thanks, my bay area toy brother. and yeah i wasn't sure if i'd go with red eyes or gold but ended up with an orangey yellow that looks almost gold after the gloss coat over em. i think my favorite part are the teeth since the scale is ridiculous to work in.

Well, this is officially the first Super Skrull custom I can remember being absolutely amazing. I love how it came out. The first Super Skrull was always the best. Looks fantastic.
