It should be, I mean why make a new mold when you can just rehash eh?!

I got to see the Robin/Joker in hand today, and honestly the Robin figure was decent but I was sorely disappointed by The Joker. It just looks cheap, and I wouldn't recommend anyone picking it up unless you really need that Robin figure with the hood.

^That makes me a sad panda, I had high hopes for the Joker and the value of the set in general.

But if someone has any pics of the DCD arkham joker next to any standard male DCUC I would really really appreciate it. |

This should give you an idea of what to expect. Sandman in person is very close to The Joker's stature, and I think you can safely gauge your comparison with him. Now that I took a minute to closely examine my Joker figure, I'd say that the main problem of the Legacy Joker figure is that it lacks sculpting and relies heavily on paint apps, which aren't too great either. I hope this helps. note: Mine is the DCD one, not the mediocre Legacy release. |
^Thanks for the comparison DFD!

Mattel...you so lazy. First you repackage a new Joker figure with an old ass TDK MM Batman...then you put that awesome Robin with a mediocre Joker. It's no wonder I've focused more on Marvel lately.

Anyone who is worried about the scale difference between the Legacy Robin/Joker pack and the DC Direct AA figures, worry not! They're damn-near perfectly in scale with each other.
Robin stands as tall as AA Batman's shoulder, which seems about right to me. Legacy Joker also happens to be TALLER than AA Joker, and from the top of his hair he's just as tall as AA Batman (if you don't count the ears on his cowl). Robin looks absolutely fantastic next to my DCD AA figures, which is great considering I wasn't too impressed by the upcoming DC Direct version. I'll get a pic posted if anyone wants to see for themselves. |

So, when I went to snap these pics I noticed that Robin is actually a little taller than I thought. Check it out:

Seeing them side by side now, I think I prefer the original AA Joker better. Thanks for the pics duder.

Yeah, the DC Direct AA Joker is damn-near perfect in my eyes. Best Joker sculpt I've ever seen, if you don't care about articulation.
Oh, and I just happened to get my Batman Legacy Arkham City Two-Face in the mail from a guy on ebay. Don't know how long it was in my mail box, but apparently the postal carrier was extremely late. But for those wondering, Two-Face also fits in great with my AA figures. |
