XD Thought so. Maaaan I don't know if I can wait for this fall :(
|
Very good episode which is a shame because this season was mostly lackluster for me so I had no plans on continuing into the third season. Now I can't wait for it and of course it's seven months away.
Also, Lori....just die please,I friggin hate your guts. |
I think they they threw in all those Zombies to say yeah shut up to the people saying they hate a drama....
|
so what is woodbury? I was reading up on the governor and it mentions a place called woodbury before the prison?

I kind of wished they did a 2 hour finale with more zombie killing haha. Maybe with them actually finding the prison
|
AWESOME EPISODE!!!!! and Michonne!!!!!
|
It was the prison, Kirkman was on the talking dead after the finale and they talked about the glance of the prison

It's like rock paper scissors, zombie eats human, human beats door, door beats zombie. Seriously, they can catch up to you no matter where you go, but the moment you close a door on them it's over, at least for a while. Hell even zombie games use that logic. Plus that's a car door, sturdy stuff. |
haha L4D begs to differ. those doors are paper thin. =P
need more walking dead. if this second half of the season is any indication, 3rd season will be amaaaaaazing. |

dang it's been a while since i'd read the walking dead comics. think i got to the parts where rick lost something and says the reason for the title. both those events i kinda have jumbled together maybe. i mentioned the casting of the governor to one of my friends and she got really excited about that. guess it's time to catch up on the comic side till season 3 =D

One thing that always gets me... why and how do a hand full of zombies beat a car? The RV scene really didn't make much sense. With the door closed, all Jimmy should have had to do was through the RV into reverse and back out. Or hell... there wasn't that many of them, he could have just driven over them.
Now, had they shown that the RV stalled and died, or that the herd was so thick their pressure alone caved in the weak RV door, then we'd be in business for that particular story thread. |
I've been avoiding this thread for fear of spoilers but since the season is over, why not. Great finale imo. You get 3 big things that occurred; they finally are leaving the farm, which I am grateful for. Season 2 was good, but no where near the quality of 1. Seeing Michonne was awesome, especially how they did it. And seeing the prison. If you've read the comics, you know that's going to be awesome. Can't wait.

Even just the idea that this show exists is great, but I think it needs to keep up the pace of the second half of season two. I'm not watching a soap opera, I want to see more of the gritty, hideous side of people that the comics were about. You know, how brutal and depraved people can be when the rules of society no longer apply to them. They touched on that stuff with those two assholes in the bar, and definitely with the way Shane's story played out. Plus, I'm glad they didn't kill off Hershel like they initially planned to. His character is great, and I love how they shifted him from a stubborn fool to more of just an old school guy looking out for his family. Count me in for Season 3.

I think he has the potential of being a central character for a long time. |

By the way, I hate what the did with the killing of what's his face, lost the impact of the comic of when the kid did it, and when Rick eventually came back to cap his zombified ass. Also Dale's end was anti climactic. I really like the Redneck tracker, he's probably the only character I felt should be in the comic! I kind of get the feeling they might play up the sniper and dale angle, with him and the old woman. Probably wrong though, since that's probably too risque for television, and won't sit right with the audience . |
I heard an interview with "Rick" on the radio.. total British dude. It always amazes me when actors nail the accents they are trying to imitate. He said that , during shooting, he stuck with his American accent even at home with his family. He pulls it off thats for sure.. i never would have guessed he is British.
