I'm putting in some time on this one, and I'm pretty sure that they (WM Managers) don't know what, who, or when these things arrive... and yet, I don't think it's their fault. I've talked to three managers across two different WM's by me since Sat and all did try to help (to their credit, they all were very nice and willing to look them up for me) and one told me "they have them on order, and they are going to be in, but they haven't shipped yet." I ask if about a week sounds right, he said.. "at least.. probably a week and a half." That was Sun morning. I stopped by that WM today and they had a Thor, a Cap, and two IM. WTF? This manager went and got a pda, scanned the peg sticker (in one of the cleanest and neatest WM's around) right in front of me and that's what the thing told him.

Different Walmart.. last Sat morning. I see the three man manager huddle meeting taking place two aisles down from toys, so I grab the one IM that's been on their pegs for the past week and go ask them if they could look them up for me. They all offer, then one goes to get a stocker with a pda.. girl gives manager pda, he scans in front of me, tells me they have a case on the truck and it should be two days. I've been there every day since.. nada. Not even a reset yet. So yesterday I'm getting antsy, thinking they're possibly in the back now since it's been a few days since I was told "about two days," and maybe they're just waiting to put them out for the restock.. which I could tell was just beginning (one new empty section). WM woman comes down the aisle carrying things and asks if I need help.. I ask if they might have more.. she says "not yet, but really soon... it's just me doing this reset so it could be a few days... Thursday." I go today because I believe no one, and still.. nada. I grab that same IM.. go find a dude who had a pda.. again, scans and reads.. "oh, they're in our warehouse, but haven't shipped yet. It should be about two weeks."

Three different people looked these up on their pda scanner things, and were given false info about these figures right in front of me. Either they're all insane (it's WM, so it's possible), or these pda's are giving false info.

Could be worse, Iv gone to Walmart EVERY SINGLE DAY for about 2 weeks. No sign of the Avengers. I walk in today and they have Cap and Iron Man. Im like WTF are the odds someone grabbed them in less then 24 hours since iv been here lol. Soooooo mad

Holy crap! Went to walmart for some water at 8 p.m. and saw a pallet by the toys. So i look at the pallet and a full box of figs were sitting there. I never pallet dived before , I took my keys and busted the box and there they were. I took one hulk and stocked the rest on the shelf. There were two iron man's there today and they weren't there sunday when I hit this store so this store has been getting figs steadily. For everyone still looking keep the faith. I had no luck either until tonight. I live in south florida, this was the lauderdale walmart supercenter.

Could be a blessing in disguise. I think these will eventually catch up to demand, might take a while, but I think it's coming. You might be saving the time, gas, and Hulk rejection, if you'll be able to get them here from someone.

That would give us hope. We're not allowed that.

I have not seen a peg for these 6" figures or any of the figures at 6 different walmarts. And I have asked 3 different managers why there is no space allotted for them. Only one manager went to the trouble of looking into to it for me. There is plenty of other new stuff, I have seen Alfred , red ninjas from Gijoe, black suit Cobra Commanders - a few times each. No love for Avengers in my county.

agreed. I want him a lot as well. But he's nowhere near as rare as Loki Hulk and Hawkeye (the only 3 characters they haven't made 6 inch figures of yet for the movie line....well, and Black Widow as well, but I have the Marvel Legends one (the newer one) and it's fine as hell so I'm fine w/o a ScarJo one)

Now you got me freaked out. A few WM by me (anywhere from 30-60 miles) have these on order and they should be there within a week or so. But now after reading your post I'm thinking maybe earlier so now I may have to waste even more gas, lol!!

Both Walmart near me have three empty rows with Avengers tags. They said they are getting 3 cases in but I have no clue what day. I still don't have much hope though so I feel bad for you guys in Canada

I just left a Walmart where someone else was looking for those same Avengers figures, and he gave me a pretty sketchy glare as I walked up. And trust me, this dude didn't look like he collects figures, so I'm pretty sure I just met a local scalper. He went up to the stocking lady and asked if "they" arrived, and said that he had been "waiting forever on these Avengers figures" so I doubt I'll find them locally. Seeing that dude really made me think about why I collect, and whether or not it is worth this much effort, but I haven't lost hope yet. I just hate that even going to the extreme of being at a hellish Walmart at midnight isn't enough to get a decent figure when I'm actually running into other people with the same ridiculous hobby.

Yeah the last time I went to the local Wallyworld it had been picked through and Iron Man was the lone remnant of these figs.

On a side note regarding scalpers: I met the one I think I always miss out on at a nearby Target not too long ago. I was looking through MU figs that had finally been restocked and he struck up conversation about TFP figs which I don't really collect but he was probing for which one was the 'hot' one. Anyway a few days later I bumped into him in a Walmart out of the way and I was trying to avoid any sort of interaction with him and again he strikes up conversation. We basically had a rehash of our previous interaction plus the obligatory 'didn't I see you at Target recently'. Funny thing is he bought up the wave 20 DCUC figures from Target and returned Hourman & Kamandi clearance figs for them, which made me mad because at the time I really wanted the new Hal Jordan. Long story short, too late, Scalpers Suck Hard

I really hope people don't assume I'm a scalper. I'm kinda paranoid about the TRU and Walmart employees thinking that. I'm a grown man, usually dressed in work attire, that shows up at both places about every other day to hunt.

These are the time I wished I worked at Walmart.

I just need Hawkeye and Captain America.

There are three Walmarts in my area. All within 10-15 minutes from my apartment. One of them is right next to a distribution center. I have been searching for weeks on end for these figures and I'm not giving up the search.

My fiance and I went to run errands in another town about an hour and half away. After running our errands we stopped over at the nearest Walmart in that town. I went to the toy section. Nothing. The same stuff that is at my three Walmarts. Not even pegs for the 6 inch Avengers line. Stopped a nice associate and asked all the questions I could about the 6 inch Avengers figures. Gave her UPC codes, codes that appeared on a picture of a peg I saw on another site (The Fwoosh). They had one on hand. We went looking for it. Could not find it. We looked all over. I asked her to type it in once more and now the vectorscanner didn't list anything. I thank her for all her help. I began to walk away but I thought to myself, is the "1 on hand"= 1 box on hand? Hope was still there. I found the associate once more and then asked. I showed her a pic of the box and the figures inside. She went in the back to look for it. She came back...EMPTYHANDED.

I thanked her once more and like her I was empty handed.

I woke up this morning browsed on eBay for the nearest listing for these 6 inch Avengers figure and there was a listing of a Cap in another town that my fiance and I will be running errands tonight. (Back to back errands) Hopefully I can stop by one the Walmarts near the same ebay's listing town. That town is about 30 minutes away from the Walmart with the 1 on hand.

Is there anything else that I should do on this second go 'round. What I should have on hand in order to make sure the associates will go ahead and find these figures?
