I hope you realize that what you seem to think you're throwing back in my face doesn’t mean I haven’t read comics for forty years. Not only could I have missed one comic in isolation, but I could have not looked at entire swaths of titles and still have read for that long. I stopped reading ‘weekly mags’ a ways back (just wasn’t feeling it anymore) swapping that routine for spot trades. No, I’m not familiar with the comics you cited or many current stories. You’re going to find a lot of people here (and everywhere) that don’t do current books, but still read comics all while maintaining a great deal of familiarity with the characters. My last memorable experience with Thor fighting the Juggernaut was Thor 17 when Cain was running from the other mystical avatars of the Octessence. In that “Eighth Day” arc, Thor was shrugged off easily by Juggs (not including scans mostly because I’m just not going to waste that time). Also, Gabriel Vargas was pretty weak as a Captain Universe….if he was struggling with Phalanx/Technarchy sewer drones, then I think it becomes obvious that Cap Uni’s powers fluctuate wildly. Hopefully, our next interaction won’t be you continuing to try to clap back at me for some shit I stopped thinking about seconds after I typed it... |
GameStop still has The Caliban Wave available for pre-order $23 with a drop date of 5/25
edit- My Forge/Jubilee/Beast all were pushed to 7/1 ... I think I'll stick to ordering from Pulse from now on (But for info- I was charged for SilverSable the day I ordered her but status is still unfulfilled) |

Here is an older Thor vs. Juggernaut. Maybe that will spark your memory. I am not trying to "clap back at you". You just said there were only one or two MU characters that could rip Juggernaut's helmet. Nimrod and Onslaught. Neither of those ripped his helmet. I gave two examples of characters that did and gave the source material. I just get sick of people spouting off half formed "facts" when it takes very little research to find the correct information. I feel like if you are going to type something on the internet, maybe you should use the internet to see if you are correct first. It isn't very hard. If you can post on the internet, you generally have access to search engines. |

As for BAFs, not sure where the rumor started, but I don't see Hasbro shaking them anytime soon. Hasbro knows that many figures are bought out of the "gotta-get'em-all" collector mentality that the BAF gimmick brings out in us. |

Dude, you already came at him with snark and passive-aggressive digs, which was completely uncalled for. |
Im sure we will see the BaFs at SDCC. They really never show off full waves 3 or 4 here couple more at the next show.

No, you are definitely clapping back in an emotional tantrum due to our previous interaction. 1) You can pull scans out of context to prove almost anything – see: “Rules of Internet Trolls” 2) Usually, when someone is trying this hard to hang someone else up on their words, then there’s some personal stake involved 3) You don’t get to claim you aren’t being petty when you start a comment contentiously by quoting something that was said within a different context 4) I’m actually ok with you wanting to be the ‘arbiter’ of all things comic canon related – heavy is the crown |

If I see someone say something that is factually wrong, I try to correct it. I don't even attempt to comment on or to change anyone's opinions. That is not my place. I also thought I was being helpful by posting the cover art where Juggernaut had a black eye. How are those scans out of context? They are directly from the comics where Juggernaut had a ripped helmet.
I haven't attacked anyone's views or person. I did get a little snarky with the "40 years" thing, but they got snarky with my by saying the "40 years" thing in the first place. I guess from now on I will also just spout off whatever off the top of my head without caring if it is true. |

I don’t think BAFs are being phased out. They likely just wanted to hold something back for other shows later in the year.
At least one BAF is from Endgame (armored Thanos), and was likely avoided due to Marvel Studios’ very cautious nature when it comes to spoilers. |
I wouldn’t read anything into the BAFs not being mentioned at NYTF. Do any of you remember the all female wave rumor that started a couple of years ago when Hasbro teased Sue Storm, Dark Phoenix, Mary Jane, Jessica Jones, and the Jane Foster Thor? This BAF situation is just like that. And IIRC, Hasbro withheld the some of the BAF idenities for the early 2018 waves until they were closer to their release dates.

I think it was Rektangular, who has a decent track record. About a year ago he posted on Instagram a list of upcoming X-Men figures, and those three are the only ones he mentioned that haven’t been confirmed in some capacity. |
I'm happy that there's so much stuff for people who want it, but not a whole lot I want. It all looks great though.
I finally get my MCU Ghost which is great, though I have to get a Luis figure which is eh. I NEED that Hulk. Nightcrawler, Colossus, Silver Samurai are great. and the Iron Man is tempting. But that's about it for Legends. But that Power Rangers line...:D |
I agree Darth, Hasbro is already killing it with their Power Rangers line. What they showed off is even superior to the Figuarts.

Snagged this today. Now watch me go build Rulk only for them to re-release him in 2020.

At least you will still have a Spiral? I have been avoiding getting a Spiral because I think a new one might be coming. The new Black Cat made me think they might be planning on reusing some parts. It is probably just wishful thinking though. |

I’ve seen a lot of people assuming Cannonball has no legs, but I think it’s highly possible the figure just has a removable lower half like the Spider-Man Classics Hydroman.

Edit: I came to realize though that almost everything that was so awesome that was shown were remakes. Oh, we had a few new things - Boom-Boom, Silver Samauri, and new outfits for existing figures like Emma and Dazzler. I wasn't able to knock anything off my "want list" that is pretty much never done before characters in any outfit, and yet, this TF was STILL amazing. How did they do it?? I'm pretty much just hoping for Jim Lee Storm, FA Storm, Moonstar, Alpha Flight members and Firestar for SDCC now. Because I don't think anything off my list has a real chance of coming. But yet, what we're getting is still so amazing it almost doesn't matter. |
