Running around like crazy looking at alt head options for a modern Falcon- sculpting this, painting that... then just decided to use Falcon Cap in the display when it hit me. Falcon Cap had the perfect head to go on my custom Falcon! Ta-Da!

No, these are just from an MU Falcon. I may look for larger wings, I think I used the wings from the 12in kids toy Falcon before but couldn't find them so just went with these.

Bo i need to ummm...'borrow' that Vixen figure..

..i just do not like that falcon-cap head sculpt...never really have.

Re: borrow Vixen- LoLz... if I see her again I'll grab her up. Saw the whole wave again a couple weeks ago- debated getting the GasLight Gotham Batman but didn't- went back for him the next day and they were all gone. I did see someone post her on FB today for $50 (POS bastard)... but could mean the wave is making another round.

Did you snag that Hydra 2 pack yet??
i've seen it online here and there..but never in a store. was in no rush to get it so i haven't....yet.

..and the Hydra setup is cool. who the hell sculpted the hydra symbol on the left. And i see that upside down alien turret on the ceiling ;o)

I skipped the AIM and Hydra 2-packs, i've got plenty of the regular bee-keepers and Hydra Goons- I like to keep the troops all looking the same, so the other guys in the sets didn't do much for me.

Since I found Mystique yesterday, here's a couple of thoughts.

Man...Walgreens exclusives just keep getting better. Mystique is a figure that has long been in need of an update, and the first attempt at it by Hasbro left much to be desired. The paints on mine were crisp and clean, and I really like how the floating belt piece is worked for the sash. The head sculpt (all of them) are really well done, are very nice touches giving us some custom options, and I especially enjoy how the sneering smile is portrayed on the primary sculpt. This is a bad woman who's up to no good, and hell hath no fury like her scorn.

Of course, there are some minor complaints as nothing is ever perfect, and my gripe here is with the hands. I'm really glad Hasbro opted to give her two trigger finger hands, but I really wish that they would change trigger hands to a roll of the dice swivel instead of the common in and out motion they have. The weapon accessories are also a bit silly as well...I ditched them quickly for some that felt far more appropriate.

The other gripe is not even a gripe at all...but more of a preference. Typically, Mystique is often drawn in this outfit wearing high heeled boots, and not the flat soled shoes the figure comes with...so I swapped them out for a fodder pair. They might hurt her articulation just a little bit and make her trickier to stand...but I really like the femme-fatale sex appeal they give her, and they give her a tiny bit of height to boot.

(Customizer hint...the color of her flat soled feet perfectly match the UGG wave Black Cat, so if you've ever wanted to ditch BC's heels for flats, Mystique is the perfect opportunity.)

Bottom line...If you see her...grab her. She's good. Then take your old Toybiz version outside and burn her. She makes good compost and will help keep you warm during the cold fronts we're having.

Oooooh... nope. Skipped that one too- if it had been the Hydra Cap where he paints the symbol on his chest it would have been a must have, but the armored look is not great to me. The Zola is nice though- but i'm ok with classic colors on him. Heh- ...most 2packs fall under the "I need to stop buying stuff that goes straight into the spare parts bin of extras in the garage" category.

Well if ya have hydra goons in the fodder bin ill take em. ;)

Oooooh Mystique looks GREAT with those heels. Anybody have spare Black Cat feet they want to trade me? I just secured my Mystique from a toy buddy on Instagram.

I think it's very possible Mystique could take the #1 spot for 2019. I'm making a run by the nearest walgreens tomorrow in hopes they have it. Such an awesome figure.

I finally saw a Magik on the shelf down here, I guess that means I’ll see Mystique some time around Christmas.
