Today Haul...Found Mysterio today looking for Mystique.

Note: To all of ya’ll who got that Mystique deal...I hate you...Lol! Take it easy, Arkers, JK, hopefully I find her at Walgreens soon!

Since Mystique keeps coming up...I thought I should mention that I was digging around in my bins today when I came across the Frankenhooker Assassin Mystique (who I honestly forgot I had...) from the Epic Heroes wave. Then it dawned on me...

The headsculpt from the new Mystique fits perfectly without any sort of dremeling or re-tooling required. The skin tone is a little bit brighter than the body on the old figure, but since that figure has some pretty detailed shading, it's not distracting, and actually looks a lot better in hand than it does in this shot.

If you have the Epic Heroes Mystique, don't be so quick to dump her for the new one. If you have the new one, it'll give her another look!

Went to pull my Apocalypse out of storage just to find he has an unfortunate bald spot on his head:

Any experienced customizers here know of an acrylic paint that would match? Or anybody that has an Apocalypse head they're willing to part with? Searched around for a replacement one, only to find that both Gladiator and the head for Apocalypse jumped up in price out of nowhere.

So my Target is currently in the middle of a remodel. Not only did they move the toy department to where the shoe department used to be, but also it is now set up with a huge Lego display area and the Marvel figures are now situated on a smaller island display similar to what TRU had.

i wan't a Kl'rt figure like this..a bulky armored up Warlord. with arms showing the FF powers..
oh..and def want a Manifold figure too!!

Mafex spidey is so close to being prefect for my tastes, unfortunately the QC on their products got the better of mine. One broken wrist peg and one missing ankle pin right out of the box.

The Mafex Spidey looks cool, but I don't like the dulled darker colors and for $80, he should totally have his web wings!

Scored two minnervas and a captain miss warbird marvel at walgreens. I plan on putting minervas head on the red n blue danvers body.....i like her in that red n blue outfit more than the poormans green lantern corp outfit. Gods i hope we get a nova movie soon.

Note: Just to let Arkers know, Some Walgreen are having in house sale, Marvel Legends for 13.99...Today scored Spider Punk and Lasher for the this price and used point, want to find Mystique, but will settle for these for now.

Note: Is seems like my area is getting a reissue of the Lizard wave, any one else seeing this in their area. In two weeks, I have snagged two Mysterios from two different Walgreen, this can not be just a random thing, in my case.

Got the ladies some proper weaponry.

The problem is that it's more of grayish blue than a black.

I think Testor's Insignia Blue might be a decent match so I'll look into that.
