I've seen a lot of folks asking about realistic firearms for Mystique. Marauder Inc has a line of 1:12 firearms that I for one, love.

Is there anywhere these days to get some basic 6 inch display stands in bulk at a decent price? Not flight stands or anything just something to help with figures toppling over.

Everything I can find seems super expensive and/or not compatible with Legends consistently.

Go on ebay and look for a company called Marauders. As someone mentioned upthread, they make guns in 1/12 scale but they also make display stands.

A cheaper option is sticky tac. I also recommend it over a display stand because it's not visible. The only downsides are that it can leave a residue on your figures and it's not useful for one legged poses.

I already thought Shadow King looked too much like a Juggalo.

I've been looking at those and they just seem small to me. Does each stand effectively hold a 6" figure? Looked like a few put together was necessary especially for bigger figures.

I'm really ticked that Hasbro doesn't sell these, and also that Hasbro has changed the size of the foot pegs over the years meaning that one peg size won't fit every figure. The Marauders, Inc stands are nice, but they don't fit all Legends figures. Every time I see Hasbro's displays at conventions I see them putting their figures on stands and get newly frustrated that they're not selling those to us. :mad:

The guy who creates effects who calls himself "Can of Beams" (canofbeams.com) just started selling stands earlier this year that he calls "hex stands" that has multiple pegs that he claims fits all types of Marvel Legends foot pegs. I ordered 25 of them two months ago but haven't gotten them yet, so I can't speak to their quality yet. I'm definitely eagerly anticipating them though, and he says they should be shipping this month. He isn't taking orders for now, but he says he'll start taking orders once he meets the original deluge of orders he got back in January. I ordered mine the first day he made orders available.

I haven't tried them myself, but I've heard people say that no, one stand doesn't completely steady all 6" figures, particularly the bigger ones or ones that you put into unsteady poses. But I've heard those people say that if you use two stands--one for each foot--then usually they do work well. I'm still thinking about buying some for this reason, one stand per foot with wide-stance dynamic poses may work well and be your only real option in some poses. But I may not need to try them if the Can of Beams hex stands work well enough.

But like I said in my last post the Marauder stands don't fit all figures. I'm not sure yet how many different peg hole sizes Hasbro has done, but I wish they'd standardize this more.

It's kind of crazy that a line this extensive and collected doesn't have some kind of uniform stands. Hasbro could manufacture these for pennies and make a killing selling them at a dollar a pop.
