I smoke and my figures have this smell on them. I'm constantly cleaning any that I want to get rid of. The only sure fire way to get rid of it, is to clean them. If you put them in a bag and seal the bag, the smell has no where to go except the dryer sheet and then your just getting rid of the smell not the issue, the residue.

The longer they stay way from the source (the smoker) they will eventually stop smelling but as long as the residue is there, it will always be tainted.

However getting rid of the residue won't always get rid of the smell, but once it's gone, the smell will eventually go away.

Wow thanks!

I keep a shelf in my living room of some favorite characters. It occurred to me the other day that without the 90's X-Men cartoon, I wouldn't be a comic fan. So I'm slowly changing this shelf to be that team's line up. Once the new Beast, Jubilee and Gambit come in, I'll swap out Sabertooth, Apocalypse and Archangel. Maybe one day, we'll get an era correct Jim Lee Storm too. But in the mean time, this is that shelf.
*I was having trouble linking it, so it's an attachment.

So who would you like to see made from the Serpent Society next? Personally I'd love to see a Diamondback figure as well as Rattler, Sidewinder and Deathadder. Black mamba has a cool visual as well.

Bushmaster. Diamondback would be cool, but which version do you want? The outfit she started out with or the one when she started acting as a spy for Cap?

Looks good!
i FINALLY purchased and put up one shelving unit i wanted ( i guess it's actually a bookcase and i'm going to pick up one more asap). SO i'm currently trying to dig out my x-men figs and get a display going as i've NEVER had an actual X-Men display.
Sucks i have no Jean. and i don't want to purchase one because the INSTANT i do they will show of the new Hasbro release one that will come out.

I'd be fine with either, but probably lean slightly more towards her classic/initial appearance. She's gotta be high on the list for "next one out" I'd imagine.

Bushmaster (who else could we use that snake body for?), Death Adder, Anaconda, Puff Adder, Black Mamba, Asp, and Sidewinder would all be great, too.

Really awesome pics man! That Quantum suit pic is really wanting me to go out and spend some more money haha. But Ebony Maw is easily the winner from this wave for me. He’s absolutely amazing

Thanks Tim- Yeah, Ebony Maw is great- I think Hasbro could have done a way better job selling this wave- their promo shots are usually really great and make even pretty bland figures look good- but this wave just looked very uninspired and kind of boring- But "in-hand" I've really been having a lot of fun with them!

I definitely like her original outfit the best. Thanks for asking.

Maw is great but glaive.....is easily the most detailed of the order. I have to say the black order is easily my favorite team i have completed so far. All together they are just beautifully evil and the detailing is just fantastic on them all. I really want thanos to win now haha.

MeLikeJinx 04-06-2019 05:54 PM

I like the lady with the big spear the best of them and I don't think Ronin deserves to be in the cool bad dudes pic... he lost it all because of the dance off.

So do we know if this Cannonball comes with legs or not?

Okay. Stupid Move but Okay.

Archangel 04-07-2019 07:36 AM

They will probably come in one of the next waves, packaged with another Star Lord, Cap, or Spider-Man figure that you don’t need.

Well, according to Thanos, he won and the work is done. :)

I can't believe this. Hasbro can't be that stubborn. If he doesn't come with legs, to me that means he will get a re-release.

So is there something going on with BBTS? I ask because I ordered an item from there this past Tuesday. It said if I picked the quicker FedEx shipping my order would arrive by Friday. Regardless, I chose the standard shipping because I didn't feel like the extra cost was worth it. However, they have yet to even ship my order.

So I'm trying to figure out if something happened to them business wise or if they are intentionally ignoring my order because I didn't choose the more expensive shipping option. It's getting to the point where I'm about to email them and tell them I want to cancel my order.

I've cancelled on them before for the same reasons. They took forever to ship, ended up finding the figures locally and cancelling the order. Whether theyre purposely doing it so you will give them more money or its their business and the lack of staffing to accommodate the mass orders or both, who knows. A business will always rise and fall.

So Dose anyone have a Pizza Spidey Head they would sell me?

I'm very late to this party. I display my collection in order of the franchises. Iron Man, Thor, Captain America, Avengers, Guardians of the Galaxy, Ant-Man, Doctor Strange, Spider-Man, Black Panther, Captain Marvel.

A tad off-topic, but I finally finished reading through Fantastic Four Omnibus Volume 2 and it was... well, fantastic.

I loved the Inhumans subplot that was going on throughout the second half of the book, though I do have to admit that it sometimes to disrupt the pacing a little. Also, why didn't the FF just ask Silver Surfer to remove the barrier with his cosmic powers? I'm sure he would have if they had asked him nicely. Nevertheles, that really made the book stand out to me as I'm not sure how many stories back then where doing something like that at the time. I know none of the DC books I have read have done so nor did Spider-Man.

Reading the Galactus trilogy with full context of everything that lead up to it was a real treat because it really felt epic in scale. I will admit, it was hard to feel like anything could top it, and while nothing did, everything that followed was still incredible. The story about the dude who switches places with the Thing was interesting, which was of course then followed by the introduction of Black Panther. Getting to finally read his first appearace was just as great as the rest of the book, especially since I had no idea Klaw originally started out as some poacher. Until the movies, I always knew him as the sound vibration robot man thing. It elevanted my enjoyment of the character in the MCU.

The remaining stories were all good, though, I felt like Johnny was out of character at times. It also got weird how the Lockjaw teleportation bit worked and having all of that be for nothing since Blackbolt freed everyone from the dome seemed a bit anti-climatic. Hell, if he was able to do that, why didn't he do that in the first place? Anyway, I enjoyed the Doom Surfer story a lot more this time around than I did last time. There are still some parts that don't work for me, but overall, it was a solid arc. I hope when Hasbro does a new proper Doctor Doom, they pack him with the surf board they gave Surfer. :-)

I'm probably going to hold off until the summer time to start Volume 3 since Amazing Spider-Man 4 comes out in a few weeks and I hope to get the JMS Omnibus for my birthday.
