how much for blake?

DogFashionDisco 08-08-2012 11:58 AM

If you decide to pick up Blake, I'd buy the Batsignal piece from you.

I say that all the time. Hasn't Worked Yet. Just Spent $147.50 on a McFarlane Spidey.

0.o why so much? I got 2 mcfarlane spideys and a Fearsome foes box set spidey last month for 60 at my local.

I am so glad the sub managed to go through. I really hope they dont disappoint me though Im locked in for a year and only REALLY want Phantom stranger. Saint Walker I couldnt care less about and the DCD Larfleeze is better then the DCUC. Wally flash...meh I prefer Barry

This was previously the policy.

eBay now allows sellers to post & sell items that are pre-orders subject to availability of the item within 30 days of the auction. I see many sellers abusing this by stating in the auction description that items are anticipated within "approximately" 30 days.

It is a difficult position for the buyer because the clock starts ticking on deadlines to file PayPal disputes and/or open a case using the eBay Resolution Center on the day the auction ends.

Unless you are getting a spectacular deal from a completely reputable seller, it is probably better to "pre-order" from one of the major retailers directly.

tl;dr - ebay policy has recently changed on the pre-order issue

gotta pass for now. I'll finish that signal though, my cat woman base is missing the control panel. Kind of souring me to the whole process. I'll need her now too whenever I see her at retail

M3T4L V1KING 08-08-2012 02:31 PM

Is it safe to say, that if the bat signal didn't light up, no one would give a damn about it?

bmorr 08-08-2012 03:07 PM

it lights up? holy crap.

I already don't give a damn about it. :)

I like the Argos U.K. Batsignal better. I don't have one... yet. It sells for about $50.

The DKR version is just too big, like a pop can. :p

M3T4L V1KING 08-08-2012 03:18 PM

I'd never go out of my way to get the bat signal, and I wouldn't want to pay a lot for it. In conclusion, I guess I don't want it.

I know that feel, bro.

I am not collecting TDKR MM figs, so to compile a set of pieces of the MM Batsignal (or to buy one outright), I figure I would need to spend $35-$40 or so, so I am just going to hold out for the Batsignal I personally like better for $50.

kenm2474 08-08-2012 03:59 PM

I want the Bat Signal but not for $89.99.

Tiberius 08-08-2012 04:00 PM

I'll just buy a flash light and put a batman sticker on the end of it.

Which Batman is this and what scale is it in?

DogFashionDisco 08-08-2012 07:14 PM

6 in., DC Super Heroes, pre-DCUC.

Yeah, there are three variants of that fig:
  1. DCSH Wave 1 (plastic cape)
  2. TRU Exclusive Batman and Robin 2-Pack (floor-length cloth cape)
  3. Argos U.K. Exclusive Batman (calf-length cloth cape)
The 2-Pack one is my favorite.

I found another pic of the Argos U.K. Batsignal, this time lit-up.

I believe the photo source is obvious. I know it looks fake, but I believe the background is a diorama and it is just a good photo. If it is p'shopped, someone let me know.

SwindlesShop 08-08-2012 09:43 PM

anybody need a starfire? i have one 22 complete.
I feel like shit guys :( I sold a batsignal piece to fancypants and the little box is missing.

M3T4L V1KING 08-08-2012 09:51 PM

Batman with a soft goods cape? Beautiful.

jmo 08-09-2012 01:56 AM

Don't think it has hit retail yet. But people are getting there BBTS orders in the mail by the sounds of it.

ToyAddict 08-09-2012 04:40 AM

What retail store is actually going to carry them? Target's clearanced the line recently, Walmart clearanced it even longer ago, and Toys R Us hasn't restocked DCUC since wave 16 (at least my store. . .pretty sure I never saw anything there past 16). I doubt any store would just carry a one-off wave like this.

I'm thinking this will only be at the online toystores and at LCS's. Unless it shows up at Ross later.

jaybird7072 08-09-2012 04:51 AM

yea i want these figures but bbts has them for 70 plus shippin thats like 80 bucks.. iam hoping they reach retail....

if i dont see them then i guess ill get them from there.
