Marvel Universe Abomination | eBay

just saw this, still don't like the "2 characters one card" concept. but the figure looks pretty sweet

MADREVJACK 08-14-2013 06:14 PM

You know, I'm really tempted by that Abomination figure even at $40

resist. if someone buys it at that price all the other scalpers will do the same.

MADREVJACK 08-14-2013 06:20 PM

Yeah, I'm not gonna bite this early, but I thought about it.
You or anybody else know if the new avengers figures coming out have a height problem besides red skull and black widow? Mainly asking for height comparisons if someone can post some pics.

MADREVJACK 08-14-2013 06:42 PM

Abomination ended at $37

Good advice, it will be out soon enough and you should be able to get it at retail or for a lot cheaper soon. I just want to know how they get them so early? Trip to Asia? At least the listing doesn't say Marvel Universe Vision Blade Abomination Look Wow! I saw Cloak on eBay too.

ChuckSass 08-14-2013 08:28 PM

sorry guys, i bought him and this guy caught me with it and offered to buy me anything in the store for it. I got a MU Dark Phoenix and an old Satana issue…*If I come across another i will get him for someone on here!

all i was doing was having a different opinion and stating it, for some reason you took it as an attack, u can change that not me, but im sorry if you thought it was

i wonder why i collect things past the "i like it" thought, most likely its caused by the fact that if i didnt collect something ppl would get me things i dont want for gifts, that and like most i like to waste money on things i like lol

GOTG is gonna be a collector item soon. plus I couldnt find it after seeing it a few times for 50 bucks

I just picked up the team pack on clearance for $12.48, I think you may be right ChuckSass. Especially if they come out with 5 poa figures if any at all. I hope the movie is good, with John C. Reilly it should be. They are still peg warming now though.

Marvel's Avengers Assemble - Molecule Kid - YouTube

I think I've given the new show a good shot but it's just not for me. From the animation, to the designs, to the voices: I don't dig it. Though I am watching the early 80's Hulk cartoon on youtube as I type this, so...

Yeah, it doesn't help that our area is largely lacking in stores that even sell MU anymore.

$16 is a good price on that. Rejoice!

Bil- I think you can easily replace the arms on your Doc Oc with these arms. They come as a snap on backpack that I believe has an action feature that makes them move a bit.

Here is a link to somebody who swapped out movie Doc arms onto his showdown figure.

bmorr 08-15-2013 04:25 AM

I have an idea for the arms thats been rolling around in my head for a while. I need to dig around my shop but im gonna try using cable, as in electrical cable. Theres some types that are really thick, strong, and hold a shape, what with the density of rubber sheathing.

MADREVJACK 08-15-2013 04:51 AM

Bmorr, you may find the weight of the cables to be an issue unless positioning is such that the figure is suspended off the ground. Wicked cool idea.

i like this look as way more the your previous one

i read the blog not once does he mention how he did it

i wanted to have doc walking on the octo legs (like he does in the comics) with one arm reaching for a spidey

I'm sure the guy just swapped arms, I'll try to find out what figure those arms came from. Looks like he used one of those cool flying Japanese clear stands also for support of the figure.
