Are there bootleg Minimates out there? Just snooping around ebay and I see an unusually high number of cheap listings shipping from Hong Kong or China.

It's usually roughly the same as the other figures you'd find from there. Factory excess/stuff that walked out.

The reasons can vary from legit case purchases in bulk to other means of acquisition and anything inbetween.

Usually it's not KOs, but I guess it can be at times. Usually they are painted too well for them to be KOs though.

Another question - does TRU have regular rotational minimate deals the way they often have Marvel (3.75" or 6") or Transformer sales?

Not really, they generally receive the sales and specials regular toys get. For example, BOGO 50% off or if they've been sitting there for too long they get half priced. Every once in awhile the Marvel ones will be included in Marvel based promotions like free gift with any $25 or more Marvel purchase but only rarely.

I love how Sue looks like the cheerleader for the group. Also, I think it's hilarious that Spidey and Reed (who don't need any help reaching high places) are getting a boost up from Ben.

As much as I'm digging Minimates lately, I can't help but wonder why they didn't go with the standard peg size for Lego/Kreon/MegaBlok/Transformer Cyberverse weapons and instead have that extra thin size. The feet are tailored to be compatible with Lego blocks, but not the hands :/

I love that set, picked it up a couple weeks back, the iron man is amazing! I can pick up a few packs if anyone wants to trade for them?

Any loose pictures would be great! I'm on the fence with this set. Not a big minimate collector, but I like most of the characters in this set.

just got the two fear itself packs the worthy and the mighty....AWESOME!!!! also found the colossus and rogue two pack and finally got Odin and Loki for the Thor wave.
