I have no inside knowledge, but I really don't think Mysterio is from a different universe. I also think that Fury is really the Chameleon. Perhaps he managed to trick Hill into believing Mysterio's story. I hate to sound like the stereotypical "old fan" but the different universe approach to Mysterio is not something I'm interested in. Although, I do like his costume!
And seriously, keep his freaking mask on!

I find Marvel in general likes to ditch the headgear. I think I'm just used to it at this point.

Don't wanna cover up those million-dollar actors' faces. I mean, I don't agree with it, but I get the reasoning. Especially for full-face coverage masks.

Actors love nano-tech. Personally I frickin' HATE marvel's reliance on it. Every frickin' character in Endgam with a mask was constantly stopping- boop! Mask off!"Blah Blah Blah" boop! Mask on!- I really can't stand that...

Really hoping for an unexpected twist as Mysterio as a good guy is something I have zero interest in. I love the MCU but what they did to Mandarin in IM3 is still my personally biggest problem with the entire universe.

On a side note I went into a small toy store at a mall near me and they had Nick Fury and Nuke from the Giant Man series for retail. Totally unexpected find as I have the Fury from the old 2 packs but he was in rough shape from the day I got him.

i cancelled my order from them... the SAME thing happened with the last X-men wave last year..seems like everyone got it before them. You KNOW we have ZERO patience when it comes to our favorite muties. Oh sorry.. was that not PC ??

The MCU Mandarin thing got 'fixed' in the "Hail to the King' short. There is a real Mandarin who's legends were the basis of Killian's character.

Knowing Marvel, we'll have the heroic Mysterio end up killed by his local universe self, who's a villain for some reason.

This is one reason why I give serious respect to Karl Urban for keeping Dredd's helmet on the entire movie. I still wish he'd get cast as Batman. He'd be perfect.

^ Dredd 2012 is one of my fav movies all-time. Ryan Reynolds too wore the mask most of the time in the Deadpool movies... although he was all burned without it, so it was probably for the better. And I am really sad Hugh Jackman never wore the Wolverine mask at least once during his run as Logan... although he did wear the Weapon X mask in Apocalypse I think.

Nah urban should be the new wolverine....or scott eastwood.

I remember when they were making Spawn back in the late 90's, the studio hated the full mask because they felt the audience wouldn't know when he was talking. :rolleyes: If I'm not mistaken, it came up again in V for Vendetta, studio's think so little of the audiences intelligence.

Then you've got actors wanting their faces to be seen, again, with V for Vendetta, Hugo Weaving was one of the only actors who didn't require a face reveal scene at some point in the movie.

Iron Man's interior helmet view solved a lot of that for Iron Man 1, but I think the technology allowing for "quick flips" and all the other elements, it's just the easiest way out to make the most number of people happy.

On a completely different note, it was my understanding that the moratorium on Endgame spoiler merchandise ended today, I was expecting to see some Marvel Legends news on that front.

Urban yes! Eastwood no!! Way way to pretty!! And that’s comparing him to Hugh Jackman.
My ideal wolverine would still be Tom Hardy, but not gonna happen with venom sequel in limbo.
Just after seeing warrior and taboo he would be perfect.

You can always gruff up eastwood a bit. But if urban wouldnt hed be my next choice. Im not a Big fan of tom hardy.
