And I am really sad Hugh Jackman never wore the Wolverine mask at least once during his run as Logan... although he did wear the Weapon X mask in Apocalypse I think.

Agreed and good point about Deadpool. As for Jackman in Apocalypse he had a thing kinda similar to the Weapon X helmet but it wasn't the full helmet. His face wasn't covered at all.

Too true. Wasn't there talk of a series that would be like a sequel? I think Urban was pushing for it or something.

I canceled my preorders for the entire wave the moment Amazon shipped Beast. I figured with Beast in hand, there's no need to pay extra for an entire wave when I'll get the rest sooner or later.

Dorkside made a post on the Fwoosh forums last week about it. Apparently, the bulk of their shipment was held up at customs. They've received a few cases and have sent them out to customers but they're still waiting on the rest. They were hoping to start sending more out early this week but I don't know if anything has changed since then.

I was incredibly lucky and found the whole wave at my local Walmart on Saturday.

I'm still pretty confident Mysterio is the villain because, well, it's freaking Mysterio. Him being able to pull one over on someone like Nick Fury feels very in-character.

I finally saw Endgame, theater was nice and mostly empty. I liked it but it definitely felt too long, maybe future viewings will sway this opinion.

Nutimus Prime 05-07-2019 04:27 AM

There's a lone Loki and Corvus 2 pack down here if anyone still needs it.

MajinAkuma 05-07-2019 05:34 AM

Have an extra invisible iron man if anyone needs.

Yeah, I used to be an opening weekend kind of guy. The lines, rowdier audiences and not being able to find a good seat really started to diminish the theater going experience. Things changed after I discovered AMC and Regal theaters have discount days during the week (usually Tuesday). The theater's not as crowded and best of all, the ticket prices are usually between $5 and $6. I've started watching a lot more movies as a result.

At customs? Why do they have them going through customs in the first place?

Urban is too tall, as was Jackman. Personally I hope we get someone closer to his comic height of 5'3". He's not supposed to be a giant, he's small and bulky.

Trivial Psychic 05-07-2019 07:57 AM

^^Plus we already received Urban as the Executioner in Ragnarok, so I doubt that they'll want a repeat in casting for a new role.

Just a reminder guys and gals...some of us still haven't seen Endgame...and have heeded Tom Holland's warning at the beginning of the new Spider-Man and have avoided it since it spills the beans on some of the events of Endgame's aftermath. Some of us have already began discussing Far From Home here already, so please...be careful in how it's discussed so we can still show a bit of respect to those who haven't seen Endgame yet.

On another note...really glad to hear that Netflix will indeed release the third and final season of Jessica Jones. I hope it's a fitting sendoff, especially because season 2 of JJ was so lackluster.

Final thought...I understand money and timely advertising and what not...but I really hate that movie studios are putting embargoes and street dates on spoilers now. It's a really shitty way to force fans who may be challenged, to go out of their way to see something while it's fresh in theatres, lest the studios themselves spoil it for them.

Is there anyone who fits that build and can act? Not saying this person doesn't exist but I can't think of anyone.

Oh yeah...completely forgot about that. What a waste.

To be fair though...Alfre Woodard was cast for two different roles in the MCU...one as the mother who sets Tony Stark straight on his morality in Civil War, and the other as "Black" Mariah Stokes on Netflix's Luke Cage. I'm sure that the Luke Cage casting was more a Netflix thing rather than a Disney thing. Black Mariah however was able to get her hands on HammerTech in order to take down Luke in the series, (which she was able to get her hands on thanks to the Sokovia Accords) so one has to wonder if the mother that Tony encountered in the hallway was indeed Black Mariah trying to swing things favorably in her way in order to take down a certain super-powered menace in Harlem.

That said....and while I love conspiracy theories...I'm sure that casting was an oversight, and I doubt we'll see Urban in another role anytime soon since Disney is likely to want to start fresh.

Couple of custom projects I've been working on for the past day.

I gave Thanos a new paint job. Mostly just some dark blue to cover the brown sections but I also filled in some unpainted sections. Also added a few touches of gold paint here and there.

I'm also making a coatless Gambit. I had a spare Bullseye that I plucked the arms off of. The pegs for the arms are different between the two figures so I've had to do some filing on the inside of the figure to get the torso to fit back together. Right now, it's just friction holding the two halves of the torso. I'll glue it after I paint the arms.

Here's a look at the inside of the torso for anyone thinking about cracking it open.

Wow, pretty significant upgrades with just work on the paint. I'm waiting to see if either Diamond gives us a Select Endgame Thanos or if Hasbro is going to pull what they did last year and give us the proper looking Thanos later.

I can't think of any off the top of my head. But if they can cast unknown actors as Thor and Loki they can cast an unknown as Wolverine. Short and stocky builds aren't uncommon anywhere except on tv and film. So they could find someone if they want.

Riddler87 05-07-2019 10:42 PM

So about two years ago I started to pick up a few Marvel Legends a year, because I wasn’t giving Hasbro enough of my money. After a few figures I started to mainly focus on Spider-man and his related heroes and villains since I grew up with the 90s animated series. However I have never brought a whole wave of figures and I have never completed a build-a-figure and there are four build-a-figures that I would like to complete (Sandman, Rhino, Lizard and Kingpin) However I am trying to figure out the best way to get those without buying the whole wave.

I know that I can either buy the parts or the complete figures off of ebay but I was wondering if there are other ways. Like a parts swap forum online or another way that I am not thinking of that might make it easier to get the parts, or should I just try looking at other Marvel toy lines to fill in those spots?

Also any tips on where to get Hobgoblin, Electro and The Chameleon for a little cheaper since those guys in particular seem very expensive.

Thanks in advance for any tips

4. Just ask for you need in a post.

5. Watch ebay, FB, Mercari, etc. like a hawk. People are ALWAYS selling figs and you can catch some great deal when people are just trying to get rid of something quickly.

Sidenote: You need Ultimate Green Goblin too.. you just do.
