Unfortunately, we're a couple decades too late to cast Andy Serkis as a normal-age Wolverine, otherwise I think he's a perfect fit. 5'7", relatively stocky, not traditionally handsome, has a real knack for acting animalistic and feral.

Yes, but name one actor under 6’ that could pull it off. Not arguing but I’ve held that belief as well and was very skeptical of casting jackman at first but he embraced the role and made it his so by Logan I was a loyal jackman / wolverine fan. I’m still holding out hope for Tom Hardy.

Didn’t think of Serkis, good pick but him as a big role as Klaw probably took him out if he running.

I’d like to see Richard Armitage as Wolverine. I’m not real concerned about height (he made a good dwarf, though), I think he can pull off the look, and he was pretty good as the voice of Logan on that Wolverine podcast.

This is partially why I wish movies had open casting auditions for nobodies to try out, but I understand wanting an established name attached to your movie

Does anyone have a scale for shipping because I need to buy one? I'm trying to get a more accurate amount of how much shipping will be before posting. I'm getting burned on some shipping because I wasn't charging enough and just guestimating.
Any tips for a scale or shipping in general would be appreciated.

thnx

Use a 20% off coupon and get a kitchen scale at Bed bath beyond. Buy your shipping labels through paypal and you get the same discount as ebay shipping. You can ship to anyone this way.

It took me a couple years of spending way too much on shipping to figure it out. If you have any questions, feel free to ask me. If you need sticker labels or bubble mailers, royalmailers.com is the cheapest place I have found.

That isn't even funny. The gif is the perfect response. I would do that if you said it to me in person

Boy Blunder 05-08-2019 12:28 PM

You go, Internet Tough Guy :D

So, with Hasbro doing a new Mystique and the Magneto/Scarlet Witch/Quicksilver three-pack, what are the odds that we'll see more Brotherhood members soon? Maybe even a reissue/retool of Blob? Because that thing goes for more than I ever want to pay for a single BAF these days, and building him piecemeal is damn near impossible just because of the hands.

I'll second the suggestion for the food scale. I picked one up a couple of years ago at Walmart and it's worked pretty well for me.

If you're shipping through USPS and need boxes or padded envelopes, they actual offer some free supplies at local post offices and through their website. The boxes will be for Priority, Flat Rate, and Express shipping though.

So I finally get my shipping confirmation from Dorkside yesterday and then of course I see almost the whole wave at Target today. Only ones missing were Beast and surprisingly Skullbuster was the other. To make matters worse with it being mothers day weekend my case is gonna take a week to get here even though it's only in Tennessee and I live in New England.

The toy game is fickle my friends.

tierneygreen 05-08-2019 03:36 PM

Beast arrived from Pulse today. I think he's almost perfect. Like most, I would've preferred a neutral facial expression. The butterfly joints allow him to reach behind his back really well. However, they don't help him reach the crouching 3-point-stand pose I had hoped for. Not even a little. He does pose quite well in a squatted position up on his tippy toes, though. You might have to work the arms a bit to strike the right balance.

It’s mildly funny, about as funny as an action figure collector fist fight.

4. Just ask for you need in a post.

5. Watch ebay, FB, Mercari, etc. like a hawk. People are ALWAYS selling figs and you can catch some great deal when people are just trying to get rid of something quickly.

Sidenote: You need Ultimate Green Goblin too.. you just do.

Augustus_Cole thank you for all of the information and resources good sir.

^ Sweet Ghostbusters setup... that would be perfect for Spidey Legends too IMO.
