This is the same at my local Walmart, was there yesterday and they had;
1- Geenpool
2- Wasps
1 - Malakie ( ??? Spelling)
4 - Ant Man
And 1 Spiderwoman that has been repacked with no glasses and the lizard torsoswapped with a Sasquatch Torso, in which I’ve brought to the attention of the store employees three times yet still gets out back on the peg.

Marine73 06-02-2019 04:45 AM

On a side note, I been trying to find a Shatterstar for a custom, if one of you guys who still has it on peg could pm me and help me out that would be great!!!

I got one in my fodder bin. No belt, but otherwise complete.
Not sure if it's been said, but the X-Force wave is up on Hasbro Pulse too

urrutiap 06-02-2019 05:28 AM

Well I still think but I dont know if Walmart shelf stocker works do it all the time especially the guys, that they just hoard and hide certain action figures in the back room area on purpose.

Especially the still new recent X-Men Caliban wave which they were just in the Walmart store in May.

Now they're gone.Vanished. all there is now is Avengers Endgame, the Captain Marvel movie line and a few older stuff such as Dazzler, Shatterstar, even one or two figures of the Absorbing Man line.

With many other characters that aren't done, Wendigo and Caliban both seem pretty bottom of the barrel. I can see them being pretty much the most worthless BaFs. I normally complete every BaF I get parts for, but I have zero interest in Guardian, another Wolverine, and Wendigo. I am assuming Guardian will be in contention for peg-warmer of the year.

I am really happy that they made Nightcrawler and Mr. Sinister. My only disappointment is that Nightcrawler got 3 heads and Beast got 1.

urrutiap 06-02-2019 07:13 AM

Well I grew up with Alpha Flight back then in the early mid 1980s when I was a little kid. Guardian, Sasquatch,Puck and the others I was a big fan of them back then.

Weird to see that another new Nightcrawler figure is going to have two other extra heads while Beast recently didnt get an alternate head. Oh well.

urrutiap 06-02-2019 07:14 AM

I have a question about the heads and the bodies of certain Marvel Legends figures.

the young SHIELD Agent Fury of the Captain Marvel movie wave, can any other human head fit on just fine on the body or not?

I am also an Alpha Flight fan. I read all of the original run when I was a kid. I just really don't like incomplete teams and I am not paying the prices that Puck goes for. That thing costs way too much now. If they had done any other Alpha Flight character instead of yet another Wolverine, I would have been sold on getting this whole wave.

urrutiap 06-02-2019 07:33 AM

The best Puck figure is the one from the 3 inch Marvel Universe series. Also the Marvel Universe and Infinite Series has Guardian, Northstar, Aurora, Puck. Marve Legends has the best Sasquatch. Hasbro really needs to start making a Shaman figure immediately.

as for Snowbird, there is a decent figure of Snowbird from that one old Alpha Flight toyline from Mezco or whatever years ago.

and I think the Marvel Universe 3 inch Puck figure comes with a little Snowbird accesory in bird form

None of those scale well with 6" Marvel legends figures. That Snowbird is by Toy Biz from 20 years ago.

Edit: I was just browsing for Puck again. I totally forgot how bad that figure is. It looks like he pooped his pants. I can't believe that hot garbage goes for $100.

I know for a fact that it's just sheer laziness on the part of some Walmart employees.

Its also they, along with meijers, tend only to order toys with media backing. Target orders more comic as well as that with media backing but their ever shrinking boys toy dept theres barely any room amongst the loads of shelfwarming crap, and wal mart sees a big burn with dc stuff for the nearly 4 year plus wave clogging doomsday wave, which really falls on mattel for one of the shitiest case packs ever ( prison suit lex and mutant leader as one case pack and the ever present armored bats chick robin, doomed supes and cw kara ) and the result being most walmarts never ordered other dc stuff for years, resulting in many waves never seeing the retail light of day.

I don’t know about you guys but I’m getting super sick of going into Target and seeing all of those Megos everywhere. What a terrible move bringing them back. If I have to look at that Full House 2 pack taking up space one more time......

I don’t think it was a terrible move, but I think their choice of licenses was really stupid. When I see them clogging shelves, I sigh and wonder, “what’s the market for ‘The Brady Bunch’ action figures?” Like, “Star Trek” figures were logical, as were Universal Monsters, but everything else feels... weird...

I finally found the Kingpin wave at a store other than Gamestop. Walmart was stocking all of their Far From Home toys and with those they had a case of legends, of course it wouldn't be the wave themed for the new movie but at least they got this wave at all now. Black Cat was a figure that I had been waiting to find in person to judge for myself on how I felt about it. I wasn't a fan of this figure's smile from online pictures but in hand it's fine and I don't have outstanding beef with this costume choice given that the last figure was in the more known look.

Was there EVER a market for Jo,Tootie and Blair? My Lil sister loved "the facts of life"....35 years ago. Just don't see a big market for most of their licences.

Yeah. I mean, action figures are a niche market in and of itself, but old television is even more specialized. It’s even odder that they’re in the toy aisle, as opposed to the collectable aisle.

Not to sound like a Walmart apologist (cause I can't stand them...) but I can help but chuckle how many people still believe there is an underground Illuminati of figure hoarding employees that cause them to never be able to find what they are looking for....and that stockrooms of brick and mortar and big box stores are treasure caves loaded with all the figures they could ever desire.

I'm in the stock rooms and receiving areas of several Walmarts a day, and I can tell you what they do have in them. Beverages. Pallets upon pallets of beer, water, soda and energy drinks, in nearly every corner they can stick them. As for the toy racks in those same warehouses? Seasonal items. Water and NERF guns, fun noodles, water shoes and boxes of one dollar flip flops and pool floats of anything you can think of, from donuts to alligators. The space devoted to actual TOYS is actually very minimal.

You've hit it right on the head here. Unless the department has a dedicated representative from the company who orders (I see Lego reps in stores all the time where I live,) or a dedicated toy clerk who oversees orders for the department, chances are...that the store is on an automated ready scan system where figures are ordered automatically as they are rung up on the register. Cases typically run about 8 figures, so they need to sell 8 before an order for a case is placed. In theory, this is supposed to help the stores and the companies to prevent shrink (overstock) as well as save some money on labor, however, this becomes a problem when less popular figures backlog, as unless they are clearanced out, they will stay there preventing future products from ever showing up on shelves.

Because, while the toy hoarding is a myth, the energy drink stockroom black market is a massive problem.
