Also, En Sabah, which group shot? I can't seem to recall...

If it helps spyne ill kick ya too :p

it's was that 80th line pic that was from a catalogue or something with all the figures running at the camera... someone has it saved, I'm sure...

@ sh002: thanks for putting that up, I didn't want to back track for it.

Spyne98 06-19-2019 12:56 PM

Thanks SH002! Now I remember it. Much appreciated!

TheBlueMarvel 06-19-2019 01:01 PM

So this new Hulk is a con, or Pulse exclusive?

Edit: Answered - SDCC exclusive. Let me dust off my con-contacts, time to get me a Hulk...

Captain Nash 06-19-2019 01:18 PM

Is that Hulk the SDCC exclusive? I'm hoping so and also hoping not.

One of them at least.

Anyone need a Vintage wave Spidey, minus pizza, an Udon Taskmaster, or an Apocalypse wave Sabertooth?

:offtopic

Was in Phoenix yesterday for the first date of Static-X's tribute tour, and to those of you here who are fans...I highly encourage you to go and check it out. It was a pretty emotional night, and despite a couple of minor technical hiccups (it was the first night of the tour after all, and that's when you typically get the bugs out...,) if you closed your eyes and listened for a moment, it was like Wayne never left us.

That out of the way, I found Shuri at Gamestop recently, and have yet to cover how Molton Man is...so here are some thoughts...

https://live.staticflickr.com/65535/...06f753_k_d.jpg

Shuri: Came across Shuri at Gamestop, which was curious, because when I asked about the rest of the wave, the employee said they have them in the back, but they were street dated for 23rd. Yet...I was still able to buy Shuri right then and there. Whatever...:confused2

Anyways, while I'm not a terribly huge fan of this character and she was honestly not high on my lists of wants, she turned out pretty good. Hasbro is really starting to show a knack for their female MCU based heroes in a way that's putting many of the import stuffs out there to shame. The headsculpt (especially the hair) is insanely detailed and the face print on mine was really spot on. The ornate details of Shuri's neck corset and bodice is also really well done, and the sculpt is good overall. She also comes with the panther gauntlets from the basic figure, so it's a nice re-use of an accessory in Hasbro's stockpile. I'm glad they didn't make us have to go back and track down the basic figure for them.

If there are any complaints...it's that the colors on the figure are a bit drab. I could have sworn this outfit had some brighter colors, and definitely some blue to it. In addition...her shoes..."WHAT ARE THOSE!?!" It seriously looks like she just threw on a pair of Dr Scholl's and went out into battle. Did she seriously wear these? I could have sworn they were supposed to be the tabi styled boots that the Dora wearing in the films.

Good MCU figure as we've come to expect from Hasbro, and a vital piece to your MCU BP collection.

Sterculius, Roman God of Feces (AKA: Molten Man)

Augustus said it best...this figure is soooo bad...it's good...and I love it. First off, Sterculius...uhh...huh..huh...I mean Molten Man, is big. Really big actually. Fully upright, he's pretty close in size to the Hulkbuster, which surprised me as I was putting him together. He's appropriately disgusting, menacing, and painful to look at, and looks as if he's in quite a bit of pain himself, with excellent molded details and a face that gives the appearance of it melting. The paint is largely drybrushed over clear plastic, giving him a light piping effect that looks cool. I've seen people stick LED lights in him for some neat looking effects.

The beam on his left arm is removable and gives him a weapon to swing in either hand, although honestly, since the figure is rather top heavy, you will probably be using it in the right hand, as the larger, gorilla looking arm will be used to prop himself up on most occasions. The head has limited articulation due to the sculpt, but it can be finagled to look down on the foes who would dare desecrate his temple and offend him.

It's a delightfully weird and horrible looking monster, and honestly, I'm glad we got this look over the golden Eddie Brock version we know. I feel it can easily be used in an MCU or comic collection, and heck, if you're willing to repaint it...it could probably make a decent Clayface for your DC figures since it seems that wave of Multiverse was impossible to find in stores. I highly recommend it, and hell, I'll vouch for it enough to say it's my second favorite BAF this year behind Kingpin.

Well, at least I don’t have to worry about hunting that SDCC fog down. The 80th anniversary Hulk is hard to top, IMO.

In honor of Endgame being re-released into theaters in what is likely and attempt to take down Avatar as the number one film all time with additional footage, including from what I understand will be a musical tribute to the MCU to this point, I thought I'd post this AWESOME tribute video to the MCU by YouTube/Indie music/cover-band darlings Halocene. This never fails to get my adrenaline pumping. Listen to it with headphones for some awesome goosebump feels...

Speaking of Endgame, my Ruffalo Hulk (complete; both heads) is available. PM if interested...

Hasbro should send a gray version of Minn-Erva’s scarf to everyone who bought Jessica Jones. Jessica’s drinking problem is her hands are permanently fists.

If anyone's been able to find Walmart Power & Glory Endgame Cap, PM me, I'm willing to pay full price + shipping

Spyne98 06-19-2019 07:10 PM

Triv, Glad to hear that about the Static-X show. I'm going to the NJ show next weekend!
Sorry, I know that was off topic. Um... HULK! Ok back to business as usual.

hasbroherofan 06-19-2019 07:29 PM

Hulk looks pretty nice. Though a boulder would've been a better accessory than the pipe, IMO.

Vamp 06-19-2019 08:07 PM

The hulk body seems like the Things body

this pipe IMO.. is just stupid.. Its an accessory that would have been included with a fig like 20 years ago. UNLESSSS.. THAT WAS THE POINT!!!...hmmmmmmmm....

Hulkwummy 06-19-2019 08:47 PM

I'm unable to go to Comic Con to get the Vintage Hulk Figure, but I can always get it on Amazon once it is available, that's how I got the Raft box set a few years ago.

No they don't. I haven't had to pay for a single preorder upfront. Or are you saying they give you that option?

Doubt it.

No, there was a coupon code that popped up on the submission screen that said you needed to copy down the code before closing the browser screen.

I want to say it was fandom52019, but I'm not sure if that code was for me specifically or if that was a general code.

Nice custom Reese @Starlord67. In other news, I cancelled all of my remaining orders at Super V Toys to get a refund and from now on will be ordering from Dorksidetoys and other places instead. Even with items paid for in advance and in stock from multiple orders, he holds orders hostage and doesn’t ship them out. The guy also sucks at responding to emails. With a reasonable amount of time given, there is still no email response. It was only when I finally wrote that I was going to get my refund through my credit card company that he responds 30 minutes later. YMMV but here’s my rating of Super V Toys:

Wow, that sounds bad. I had a store once I ordered a figure from that stated it was in stock on a Saturday and I kind of needed the figure by that following Wed, so I paid $15 for overnight delivery. The confirmation email said it would be shipped out within 24 business hours, so Monday or Tuesday.

The following weekend comes along and my figure still hadn't been shipped out. I emailed them and then the Thursday after that they said they were waiting for the figure to be restocked before they fulfilled my order, which would be in 2-3 weeks.

Suffice to say I forced them to refund me and never ordered from them again. I think the store was called Toysnjoys or something like that.

The 1990 Toybiz toy that the packaging is is an homage to came with a bent pipe accessory for his flex gimmick, there was a boulder too.
