Cool thanks for confirming, I picked up Scorpion today and he's cool although I was they had included an alternative head with the unmasked lower face (especially as that's the version they used for the artwork of the figure!)

So....if you preordered the Amazon 3 pack way back in February, you're still having to wait for your orders to be filled, but if you ordered it in the last day or two it's shipping out within a day or two? That's absolutely baffling. I'm going to wonder what happens when/if Amazon runs out of stock and can't fulfill all their preorders because the new orders took that stock?

Not saying you all shouldn't do it, I don't blame you one bit for jumping on it. It's just mindboggling Amazon's system would work that way. Edit: I in fact, just jumped on it as well. Depending on which order ships first, the new order or preorder, I'll cancel the other one. Or if I can't do that, I'll have a second one I can sell at cost + shipping here.

It seems random. I pre-ordered mine the day they went up and mine will be here today.

And also, it looks like Magneto's ankles have been changed to purple for the actual release so it no longer looks like he's wearing Crocs.

It could be a distributional warehouse thing. My preorder says July 3rd and I also ordered the day they went up. My new order I just placed says June 26th. And glad they fixed the ankles. I wasn't all up in arms over it, and given my skills would likely have left as is, but it's still nice they did.

So like Symbispidey said it sounds random, and I'm guessing depends on what distribution hubs and warehouses have in stock. I ordered mine on Feb. 16th too and have had no movement on it, which I why I ordered another set just a bit ago. Its not so much getting it a week earlier, I could care less about that, but if the stock were gone by the time they try to fulfill my original order I'd be pissed. It probably would be fine, that is the sort of stuff my anxiety causes me to worry about. :D

Since Amazon stiffed me on my last pre-order (Professor X), I just put in an additional "in stock" order for the Magneto 3-pack. Sure, Prof. X wasn't an Amazon exclusive, but I placed that pre-order within the first hour it was up, too, just to see Amazon cancel it only days before it was to ship. Thus, I don't trust them.

For all I know the 3-pack I pre-ordered is getting a FedEx label slapped on it as I type this. But that's just it, I have no way to know. If I get a shipping notice for one order, I'll cancel the other.

I know well how it feels to suffer with anxiety, especially as it pertains to the availability of my favorite toys and characters. I’m beginning to become concerned over the SDCC Hulk. There aren’t many (I’ve seen 2) offerings for the fig and if it doesn’t get listed on Pulse or re-issued, it could easily reach $100+ on the secondary market.

I know many people think this Hulk is “blah” and it won’t sell, but they’re wrong. Once pics start dropping featuring the fig we’ll see an acknowledgement that it represents a more contemporary look for the character and it may end up being the more sought after Hulk between it and the 2 pack version. My window is closing to nab it for the right price and still get it within weeks of SDCC…

Yeah, buddy, Jag beat me to informing you that it’s the “Family Matters” pack – Scarlet Witch (modern look), Magneto (classic look, but I almost want to say it also feels like a 90’s era Mags with influence from both Jim Lee [bleech] and Capcom), and Quicksilver (same as Mags, classic costume with a post-modern feel given that the face doesn’t quite scream late 70’s-80’s Pietro – not angular enough, with high cheekbones).

They opened an Amazon Distribution Center like 10 minutes up the road from me just recently, and it looks like it is already paying dividends. My 3 pack wasn't supposed to come until Thursday, but it's on a truck to be delivered today as we speak.

A nice, welcome surprise, especially after the huge disappointment and colossal waste of time that was NECA's SDCC sale yesterday. Retail therapy I tell you...it's fantastic...

They look great, though the center piece on Magneto's helmet looks larger than it should. I do wish they had kept it red since most artisits usually did, but oh well, that's a minor nitpick.

Just a quick shot but man I love this set. Hasbro has been giving us a lot of great classic villains in their classic looks this year. Scarlet Witch and Quicksilver are both massive improvements over their previous figures as well:

It's a retcon on a retcon that may eventually be retconned again giving us the coveted retcon-cubed. Honestly Wanda and Pietro's lineage doesn't really have an impact on who the characters are and Magneto may not be their biological father anymore but the history all three shared while believing he was is still significant.

Maybe, but I'm not a proponent of arbitrarily changing interesting and well written plotlines. So Wanda and Pietro were never nursemaided by Bova Ayrshire and their connections to the New Men and the High Evolutionary are now null and void? Say it ain't so...well, knowing Marvel, I'm sure they replaced that compelling back story with something much better...:rolleyes:

Actually the last time I checked the High Evolutionary is almost totally responsible for their powers now, although it is still present that Wanda is innately connected to chaos magic due to her proximity to Mount Wundagore at birth. Pietro's powers are now strictly the result of Herbert's tampering.

Speaking of retcons, I learned recently that they decided to retcon Polaris into being Magneto's daughter despite it being Magneto tricking her back in the 70s.
