^ Maybe it is just the lighting, his right boot on the bottom looks kinda hot rod metallic red IMO.

Generic Marvel villain. I always felt like Kingpin was a villain of New York and not any particular hero.

Spider-Man shelf. He was introduced in Spider-Man, his sons have been Spider-Man villains, therefore, he is a Spider-Man villain first, a DareDevil villain second.

Here is my set up right now:

Re:Kingpin. He'll ALWAYS be a Daredevil villain to me even though he originates in Spiderman. I think Daredevil is the book that really built who Kingpin is and made him more than just an occasional crime boss to mess with...
... which is good because my Spider-man shelf is already maxed out (saving room for Vulture but i think that's the last one) KP gets to lead the Bosses dio area that can have Spiderman or Punisher or Daredevil or even Cloak&Dagger thrown in it for a challenger!

I think I saw here on the boards that someone mentioned that they've never seen the Infamous Iron Man at their local Walgreens. It's available to order on the Walgreens site right now if anyone still needs it.

It depends on what you mean by that because the Spider-Man comics were the ones that introduced his son who was going by the criminal name of The Schemer and we got an entire origin story with him.

Four movieverses if you include Into the Spiderverse.

I saw a pic of this figure with a Marvel Studios 10th Anniversary AoU Hulk head on it. Are you sure that head won't fit on this figure?

Damn! I mainly wanted Black Widow for the guns and finally caved when she went down to $9. Should have held out longer.

I buckled. Went with both Figuarts. My wallet might be still crying, but my happiness levels are currently high.

Yeah and even with two figures, SHF still hasn't given us all his weapons configurations. Good news though there are additional 3rd party SHF mark 50 accessories.

Yeah, I was least excited about this one out of the MCU two packs when they were first announced. I didn't like the portrayal or design of Skurge in Ragnarok. Also, felt I didn't need another Hela. However, those additional Hela headsculpts have changed my mind. I think I'm looking forward to this set more than any of the others (save Peggy and Steve).

I regret missing out on that T-Rex when Entertainment Earth had it for $15. Still it probably worked out for the best. That thing takes up a lot of space. Besides, I'm primarily an MCU collector so not sure how I could work in a dinosaur into my Marvel movie themed displays.

Archangel 07-07-2019 06:37 AM

At $15 you should have bought a pallet and sold them on EBay.

When I jumped in the game, Punisher was the current Walgreens exclusive. EVERY exclusive since then has been available on the website at some point. Unless there's a sale, or promo going on, I don't bother hunting for them..I just wait until they're available on the site. I buy 2 to get free shipping and then sell/trade one unless I decide to keep both.

Tim 07-07-2019 10:09 AM

@Maczero yes I wasn’t really needing or wanting the Vintage Black widow but if I see a Marvel Legends for $3 ima pick it up no matter who it is.

And same! That’s me as well I’m 90% a MCU collector. I still collect Comic Spidey characters like Villains anyway Those MCU two packs are amazing but the one that stands above the rest is easily Carter/Caps. Those two were probably my most wanted MCU figs period.

webz 07-07-2019 10:55 AM

True, but I have all the parts I wanted, so I’m good. Only issue is I got a huge back catalog to fill. Hopefully the ko’s look good on the shelf.

Dr Kain 07-07-2019 03:08 PM

Well my Target actually got new product in. They had both the Spider-Man and BAF Hulk Avengers wave instock.

I picked up these two:

https://i.imgur.com/MqFiMCB.jpg

However, I might not be keeping them.

Well, I only bought Loki because his paint job was nearly flawless. I haven't opened him up yet though because I really want to see how he scales with the 80th Thor before I decide to keep him. If Thor's too big, I see no reason in having him in my collection.

As for Hydroman, well he's a mess of a figure. His left arm and ab crunch are really loose. I can probably get the arm fixed with the Pledge polish I picked up a few month's ago (which I have yet to even use for some reason even though I bought it to fix Sauron's abdomen looseness issues), but there's not way I can fix the ab crunch.

I bought 1 when it came out. He makes my Rancors look like Elves. Buy him if you see him. If Hasbro makes a Ka-Zar, Shanna and Zubu, I am all set for a Savage Land dio.

I have yet to see Far From Home but I always knew I was going to get this figure anyway. Overall he looks spectacular although there are some minor areas on mine where the paint is just off the mark. As others have already speculated I'm sure Hasbro will give it some time and redo Mysterio in a two pack with a Jake Gyllenhaal head and some effect pieces, the other figure likely being another Spider-Man with the Tom Holland head neither single included. Regardless of that, I am very happy with this one.

This is, by far, the best looking mysterio legend yet.

Hydroman was a joke, as far as action figures go. His booties didn’t keep him up and his abs were so loose he constantly fell over. He was a nightmare to review. Thankfully I only borrowed him. Sculpting was great though. He really looked like the mcfarlane 90’s version.

He looks fantastic. I might snag him if I see him in the “wilds”. Hasbro really put all their energy into him. I agree about a dlx version. I could easily see that happening to advertise the home video release as an exclusive.

Has anyone ever found out why those Cape Buckles are different?

Marine73 07-07-2019 05:12 PM

So what Ultron did you use for silvermane?
