I just realized. Netflix Luke Cage completely repainted would be a perfect Mr.clean.

Sorry. I should've been clearer in my post. I found him at Target but I didn't buy it.

I'm pretty sure that Cap isn't undersized. I have the original and I know he's taller than any Cap prior to Infinity War. I will agree that the body is outdated though. Not a lot of articulation on that thing. That said, I'm still picking him up for at least the BAF.

Or Arcade.

That's a good use of a white suit. Although, I'm still holding out hope for an original appearance Arcade. I need him in his platform shoes (been hoping to set up a 70s themed display).

Anyway,I'll snag the Deadpool set if it goes on clearance. There's too much custom fodder/props packed in there for me to pass up at $12.

Captain Nash 07-19-2019 08:34 AM

I'm hoping that in the next 12 hours we will have seen somewhere between 2-4 of the following 6. 2 at minimum hopefully but more is better. If they showed all 6 things I'd be speechless:

Moonstar: if she is coming in quarter 4 from WG they'e GOT to show her.
Classic Dr. Doom
First Appearance Storm
Firestar
Alpha Flight member
Thunderbolt classic member: Mach II/IV would make me happier.

Other things I'd love to see: Shadowcat, Sunspot, Justice, Count Nefaria, Graviton, Sersi. but outside of Sunspot there's been no real indication of a push towards any of these characters, and Sunspot only because of the X-Force push. Sersi seems a little early if the Eternals movie is late 2020, I'm more expecting we will definitely see her in either comic/MCU form at NYTF in Feb.

I know I've mentioned this stuff before. It's just we're on the edge of the big reveal night and I can't help myself one last time.

Is the panel tonight? I thought it was Saturday for some reason.

Usually it is, but it is at 430 PST tonight.

Yeah, it’s tonight. Starts at 4:30 so we should see prototypes for everything online by around 6:00.

StuartGreen2019 07-19-2019 10:55 AM

I believe they said the next Hasbro figures reveal will be tonight at 8:30 eastern time, so that'll be cool.

Since Nash listed his cool want list, I just hope to see any of the following characters revealed:
- classic Doctor Doom
- classic Vulture
- classic Electro (with normal hands as an option this time)
- first appearance Mary Jane Watson
- classic Shocker
- first appearance Storm
- Banshee
- Avalanche
- Pyro
- Constrictor
- Mr. Hyde
- Silver Centurion Iron Man
- U.S. Agent
- Longshot
- Classic suit Doc Ock re-release/repainted or Armani suit Ock with bendable wire tentacles this time
- Heroes Return Scarlet Witch
- anybody from The Fantastic Four and/or The Incredible Hulk comics (Wizard, Ringmaster, She-Hulk in F.F. suit and Pantheon brown suit Merged/Professor Hulk would be cool choices)

A re-release of the Jim Lee Cyclops seems likely now that we saw 90s Jean from that "X-Men" #1 comic cover recreation teaser, which is fine by me since that's my favorite Cyclops suit and I missed him the first time around. I'm hopeful we see a bunch of new Spider-Man figures this time. I'm still hopeful we see some kind of new, more articulated classic Spider-Man and, unlikely as it'd be, I'd love a classic John Byrne chainmail Captain America with a smiling face, Steve Rogers head and round and triangular shields included.

Who are you guys hoping gets made into a new Marvel Legends figure?

SymbiSpidey 07-19-2019 11:01 AM

We NEED a Classic Dr. Strange. None of the current options are cutting it. We have great versions of the other OG Defenders and we also need him for our Midnight Sons. He's also the last member we need for the Illuminati IIRC (though Iron-Man wouldn't be 100% accurate since he needs the Extremis armor)

Nice list, I want most of those too! As far as your last question, the list never ends with me. I have a "top 10 I'll never be happy until I get", a "top 30 must haves" a "top 60 actual wishlist" and at least 100 other figures beyond that I'd like to see get made. :p

To put all that into perspective of obscurity, characters like Trevor Fitzroy, Skein, and Dr. Demonicus aren't even halfway down my list. :D

jwyss234 07-19-2019 11:09 AM

Not sure if I missed the pic of this yesterday from the Hasbro breakfast but the nanotech gauntlet that comes with the Mark 85 Iron Man will fit on the Hulk BAF.

tierneygreen 07-19-2019 11:20 AM

Just picked up the Hulk/Wolverine set at GameStop on my lunch break. I don’t remember the last time I went to a physical store for a specific item...and actually found what I was looking for. Can hardly wait for quittin’ time.

Squirrel Girl, Cosmic Ghost Rider, and Shang Chi

Captain Nash 07-19-2019 11:38 AM

Nice! I know Squirrel Girl has been desired by many for a long time. So that's awesome that's she's coming for those who want her. I do not but if she's in a wave that has a good BAF I'm getting the wave for anyways, of course I'll keep her.

Nice to cross a high-ish figure off my wishlist with Shang-Chi. would've preferred more modern, Avengers World era, but this is good nonetheless.

hasbroherofan 07-19-2019 11:45 AM

Finally!

Tim 07-19-2019 11:51 AM

Definitely getting Squirrel Girl! About time!
Now all they gotta show is Classic Electro,Vulture, And Firestar. And I’ll be happy haha

Looks like she's a legendary rider

I see that now, thanks! That's actually great because that means a ton of accessories that can go with her, huge plus for fans of the character. But also because she's not a need to purchase for a wave, if you're not into her.

Why the hell would hasbro do that? Don’t really wanna pay $40 plus for her but I will. With that stupid as hell DP pack and makin her a rider some of their decisions are weird ha.

I agree, I don't think I'll pick her up until she's being clearanced out if at all, but awesome for the fans. Four and a half hours until the panel

I think it works in this case. Works better than the Deadpool scooter set.

Either way, I'm all about both her and Shang-Chi. Couldn't care less about Cosmic Ghost Rider, but the motorcycle looks rad.

OH yeah, if I end up seeing her at some point for half off, sure i'll bite. I'll always need hero casualties in my setups. :D

Because they want you to pay $40+! It’s the Disney way!

hasbroherofan 07-19-2019 12:07 PM

And here's Cosmic GR.

Veronica Mars 07-19-2019 12:14 PM

Who's going to be the 3rd Rider? Should be an X-Men character right?

Wave 1
Ghost Rider
Widow
Wolverine

Wave 2
DP
Cap
Prof X
