AoA BAF, Holocaust or Sugar Man right?

I know we are getting 2 redecos with Jean, but I'm actually excited for them. The bomber coat and heads are great for cyclops and the bone claws are great for wolverine, especially if I ever wanna finish marvel vs capcom 2 roster.

For the love of all that is holy Doom better not be an exclusive to a single store. If he is fan channel exclusive that's alright since there are so many routes to get those.

I could see Doom and She-Hulk both being Walgreens exclusives

I assumed Strong Guy since that's a lot of new tooling they won't be able to use elsewhere. Unless it's confirmed he's single packed.

Dark Beast or Apocalypse are possible too. Even though we got an Apocalypse last year, he's actually a fairly "too easy" BAF not to do. But a proper Dark Beast that looks like a wilder, warped, insane version of Beast...yes, please.

I'd be interested though to see them do Abyss. Given the nature of his build, he's almost more not there than there so I wonder how'd they actually pull that off.

They talked about a whole AoA wave, I don't see them using a non AoA character as the BAF, Strong Guy has to be the BAF for another wave that they plan to reveal later

God I really hope not, we just got a Walgreens Doom recently. That and all of my Walgreens are very spotty on getting exclusives as of late so a highly desired figure like classic Doom would be near impossible to get.


Looking back at the new reveals though and I'm thinking "okay we've got two more figures of Spidey from the PS4 game coming but where are any of the villains or other characters?" The designs from that game are pretty toyetic and could yield an entire wave's worth of figures. Something like Doc Ock, Mr Negative, Scorpion, Electro, Vulture, Mary Jane (not particularly toyetic but this is probably my favorite version of the character), and then Rhino as a BAF. That even leaves space for someone like Hammerhead to fill out the wave.

I preordered all of the new box sets, and was feeling pretty excited for this afternoon...but the panel left me feeling like Hasbro was giving us this...

Outside of 3 or 4 figures which caught my eye (Vulture, She Hulk, Squirrel Girl and that Nemesis Punisher)...NOTHING really got me excited for the rest of the year.

It's official, and it's very real...Legends fatigue has finally set in for me, and I never thought it would...which saddens me. I can very easily see myself avoiding almost entire waves for the first time in about 10 years. *SHRUGS...

Nice to see no one called out Hasbro over Walmart's shitty issues when they had the chance. Especially moreso when one of Legend's biggest ambassadors is sitting in the front row of the audience, with others in attendance filming. The community failed as a whole on that one.

I dunno. We've seen them use a BAF only tangentially related (at best) to the subject matter of a wave before. We'll see.

Probably going to be in the minority on this one, but I completely agree. Don’t get me wrong, I’m happy for everyone who’s excited about these reveals, but I’m personally pretty underwhelmed. For me, the standouts are Doom, Dani Moonstar (definitely picking up multiples) and She-Hulk. I can live without everything else, which I’m sure my wallet is happy about. It was getting real tough to keep up.

And no new Alpha Flight characters

The 3-pack is looking good! Definitely glad I sold my Rocket Raccoon Jean Grey a few months ago, I can practically hear the value of that figure plummeting now. The only gripes I have with this new 3-pack is the Cyclops should come with just one alternate red shades head and an optic blast accessory instead of the second alternate head. Also, the unmasked Wolverine head is still one of the ones that fans have been complaining about for some time now. I thought for sure by now they would have made a better logan head sculpt to include with new Wolverine figures. Come on Hasbro!!! And a big THANK YOU to TOYARK for the fantastic coverage of events like this with all the great info and photos! You guys do a phenomenal job!

My favorite thing I just noticed, all of X-Factor in the right costumes except Wolfsbane

i mean im sure they will do the right costume later, if it sells well, the most important part i feel is the head, cause even if you custom the body of a figure trying to custom the head to match the aesthetic of the line u are trying to custom is the hardest to get right.

which ones even need made? im just wondering never really cared for the team guardian is pretty awesome tho. i always think of them as like they are the first attempt at being an inhumans type team, i mean even with them i think the only cool character at least design-wise is the leader.

Classic Vulture - HELL YEAH!!!!!! However, what wave is he part of? I don't see any other Spider-Man figures in the pics.

Doctor Doom - Also HELL YEAH!!!! Is he a Walgreens exclusive?

She-Hulk - No interest.

Squirrel Girl - Meh, never read a comic that featured her. Don't care.

Strong Guy - Is he actually real this time? Or just another joke? Is he a Build a Figure?

Punisher - Ugly as fuck.

Age of Apocalypse stuff? Meh, I liked the comic, but not that much. I hope the BAF isn't Strong Guy as I don't want any of those figures.

Jean/Cyclops/Wolverine 3 pack - A must buy, but I'll probably sell off Cyclops and WOlverine. Why does Wolverine have bone claws? That's stupid. I do love that they all come with multiple heads, especially Jean's being a cartoon accurate one even though I do prefer the regular head.

Havok/Polaris 2 pack - Definitely the versions I was hoping for, though do they really need to come with THOSE effects? I mean okay, one set would be fine for one of them, but they should have packed different effects for the other character. Is this an exclusive to anyone? Then again, I never asked if the Jean 3 pack was an exclusive.

Deathlok - Because we totally needed more of this pegwarmer, right?

Dani Moonstar - Ooooooooooooh, a New Mutant. And I mean an actual New Mutant version of someone, that's cool. Wait is that a Wolfsbane head in the package? And another girl whose name escapes me right now. Is this the only one to obtain those two? If so, that's lame, especially since now I was hoping for an X-Factor version of Wolfsbane since she is the only member left.

Cosmic Ghost Rider - Crap. Should have been Danny Ketch or Reyes.

Giant Man - Crap.

Liu Kang Lookalike - Oooooooooooooooooooooooooooookay...

Hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm, that seems to be it. I have to say, it's a little underwhelming. Last year had such bigger jaw dropping moments.
