Some new pieces added to the collection and changes I made to some shelves. To mention a few parts: I was missing a joker in the Figz series and I realized that I had not completed it for a long time. The set of 4 is now complete. I mentioned before that there are no tin toys in my collection. The hobby of toy collecting, which I started in the 90s, was replaced by toy collecting culture and museum mentality in 2009-2010. For this reason, I add the pieces I choose and want to the collection in every field. I finally added the first original piece to the tin toy section, an area where I was late. A tin police vehicle made in China from the 1970s. I can say that its condition is really good. There are a few scratches, but luckily there is no yellowing. Another toy that I think is one of the important and interesting pieces for my collection is Kilpikonna. :) An old, unbranded Ninja Turtles toy. Made by South Korea. I think it is a series produced for Finland. Tweety and Pound were added to the collection for the Space Jam series. I also bought a hotwheels toy box and put some toys in it that I didn't have room to display. :) Thank you. |
Great pickups! I love that you can see how much care you put into your display. Very impressive. Also, Weird Al!

I added new toys to the collection and made some minor rearrangements on the shelves.
You also see some toys mainly from the late 80's and 90's. There are wind-up ones among them. I was very happy to find the motorized police toy that I had been looking for for a long time. I had the old versions of these police bikes a long time ago but they were lost. I was very happy to add a larger and different version to the collection again and it reminds me of a memory of my late grandfather. ''When I was a child, my late grandfather had a police motorcycle lighter. Since he knew that I was always into toys, he asked me if I could find a small police figure on that lighter. A broken police motorcycle immediately came to my mind. I had too many toys in a big bag. I found that police figure at the bottom of the bag and I ran to my grandfather and gave that figure to him as a gift. The figure looked like it was made for that lighter and looked amazing when he sat on it. He later displayed it on a shelf in his home until his death. Those were good days. :) By the way, it's time to clean some shelves this week. I hope I can share new photos soon. |
Awesome story about the police motorcycle and your grandfather!
I love those old wind-up toys, penguin on skis, what's not to love? |

Nowadays, there are some wind-up toys, but they are definitely not a replacement for the old wind-up toys and their quality is very low. |
Happy new year to the entire forum. I hope 2024 will be much better for all of us than previous years. :)
I will share the new objects I added to my collection very soon. https://live.staticflickr.com/65535/...04e639d1_b.jpg |
Well, hope you had a great Christmas and Wonderful New Year too!

I slowly started the project that I had been thinking about for a long time and mentioned before.
I had an idea for the Wild West toy shelf and now I've started working on making it. Instead of a wooden shelf floor, I decided to create a realistic floor. However, I knew that I would not get good results when I painted it on wood. For this reason, I bought a hard cardboard and cut it to fit the size of the shelf. Then I covered the floor completely and painted it. This is the current state. The project will continue because I have prepared it in a way that I can continue to develop it at any time. There's a lot to add. For example, the figure measurements are not as appropriate as I wanted. I have a lot of small details to add to the environment. I think I will figure it all out over time. :) |
That's AWESOME! Very cool diorama.

Really very fantastic.

Hello again everyone.
I am now slowly coming to the end of the figure I am working on. The project is about to be finished. I needed to buy a 1/6 scale rifle of the period. Its model is Sterling SMG, but since the price of this model was very high, I ordered a similar model, MP 34. I received my order today. It looks really detailed and I think it suits the figure. The strap on it is perfect for the figure. The tags on Tommy Gunn are actually very large. However, since I am always on the side of originality, I completed the soldier's tag by working on round objects I found in similar sizes. The only thing missing now is the helmet. I hope I will complete it soon. |
Looks great!

That's a nicely detailed machine gun! You'll need to find a WWII type of helmet for him, right? Looking good.

Yes, you are absolutely right. In fact, the original tommy gunn toy helmet has a very simple design. I think it would be much better if I could make it myself with polymer clay. :) |

New toys and objects added to my collection in 2024.
Among all these products, there are also those that come as New Year's gifts. In general, briefly; Bugs Bunny Batman from the WB100 series was included in the collection. Thus, only Harry Potter series Bugs and Lola are waiting to be included in the collection. I've spent a lot of time with cap gun models since my childhood. I still have a few models in my collection. I will add photos soon. The metal gun you see is one of the striped guns produced by Russia between the 1960s and 1980s. Its design and use are truly magnificent. Another old toy is a Chinese-made tin toy called the Easter Egg. When you push the movable button on it, the shells start to turn and move, so a chick emerges inside. It's a really fun toy. And I bought the Ghost Of Tsushima record, which I have been wanting to add to my collection for a long time. It has a design with an opening lid and decorated with magnificent artworks. It contains 3 records. I had bought the CD version before, but the vinyl version has a special for me. I continue to make small additions to the Samurai section of my collection. Thank you very much. :) |

By the way, I'm starting a new project. I hope it will be nice.

All very cool.

I love those Looney Tunes cross over into DC heroes. Even Tom!
I remember those cap guns growing up. They surely don't make them like that anymore. What does the "homemade grenade" do? And that Batman bust looks very sharp. Can't wait to see it painted. |
