If it's still possible, though, I would shorten the bottom edge of the mask a bit before continuing on: looking at it again, the current sculpt appears to place CC's head slightly further above his shoulders than should be humanly possible.

Got my CC in today. He really is awesome but my one quibble is why couldn't they give his boots a gloss finish. That would've really completed the high ranking military leader look for him.

Finally opened my Cobra Trooper. He'll be the squad leader if/when the regular troops arrive. He's near perfect, the only thing I can't stand are the pegs that stick out of the guns, so I cut them off and made custom slings for them.

That looks phenomenal! Hasbro should be ashamed of themselves if they can't match your hooded CC. They should have included the hooded head in the 1st place. Probably saving it for next month's Target exclusives...

Red Ninja is the only one I haven't seen in the wild, do have one pre ordered at Pulse though...Seems like my Target has replaced the Joes with those Reaction Mcfly and figures on their hooks. Are the joes not getting restocked as much at Target? Granted I know they're made in China, which is a bit ironic considering the toy...

I've never seen them at Target (granted I'm not regularly checking) and last time I looked they don't even have pegs marked for them anymore. Makes it suck that much more that Firefly, the one guy I was looking forward to most from this line, is going to be Target exclusive. Hopefully they pull a Cobra trooper and turn out the mass retail version shortly.

I bought a second 01 Snakeyes to open, and I have to say...this guy feel fragile as hell. As a mainly Legends collector, I felt like the ab crunch and swivel were as loose as any figure I’ve ever owned out the box. Hopefully I just grabbed a bad one, but the build lends itself to fragility, IMO. Still a damn cool figure, but I’ll have to treat him like fine china when posing.

You’re not alone. My SE is a bit unstable as well. It helps if ya just plug the sword into the back hole and ditch the backpack........but he’s still a lil wobbly.

Curious, is this the first Joe you have bought? Because Snake-Eyes was my first and he is my least favorite figure of the lot. I will most definitely welcome them revisiting him down the line.

He’s the second I’ve take out the box. Roadblock was solid, no issues there. My collection is in storage now as we wait to get our house sold, so I’m trying to limit opening everything for storage concerns.

He definitely needs a revisit soon. I’m assuming that 00 Snakeyes is the same mold with better paint apps. If so, I’m glad I’m not going to pay scalper prices for him.

It's a $20 figure, nothing to be precarious about IMO. Doesn't seem like mine has any issues with looseness and he's the one I've been posing around with the most.

I don't know why, but I suddenly want Hasbro to do some GI Joe Extreme figures in the Classified line. I'd love an Iron Klaw/Lt Stone 2 pack. Make them an online exclusive or something so they don't peg warm.
