Mattel has started revealing their DC Universe offerings for the coming year at Toy Fair 2012, and, so far, these look awesome!

Highlights Thus Far...

. A closer look at DCAS New 52 Flash & Superman
. A closer look DCAS Supergirl
. A closer look at Club figures Flash, Atrocitus, Metron, Starman, Black Mask, Platinum, Tin, Rocket Red, Poison Ivy & Mirror Master...

Check out the awesome shots revealed thus far...

hrothgars 02-12-2012 02:35 PM

Have to say I'm pretty pleased on the whole.

Crazy Jetty 02-12-2012 02:54 PM

Am now officially pleased with the club! There are more wants than not wants.

Is that Rocket Red oversized, or normal sized?
Looking at Ivy to her background, I think he looks normal sized.
If true, it's kinda disappointing since he lost out to (blegh) Metron in the subscription contest. They could have made him the second oversized slot. But, not a dealbreaker.

ToyAddict 02-12-2012 03:44 PM

Phew! I'm with ya CJ . . .now I'm glad I subscribed! The only thing I can think of that would have made this better is getting a Huntress and Mad Hatter.

Anyway, mattycollector has a list (no pics) of everything posted here. . .even stuff not posted here yet. Tells us somewhat of the order the sub figs will be released.

Side note. . .remember those last JLU figures? Someone had posted links to eBay auctions for cancelled JLU Firefly and a couple others. . .well mattycollector says they are going to release those figs later this fall!

batsfan 02-12-2012 08:17 PM

black mask and poision ivy are a must very nice figures

Feast your eyes on the next series of DCUC 2-packs, slated for release this year! Fully revealed at Toy Fair this weekend, Knightfall consists of Batman (Battle Damage) and a repainted Azrael Batman. Sinestro Corps Hal Jordan and Blue Lantern Kyle Rayner make up the second 2-pack, War of the Green Lanterns.

Nothing super special here, but interesting 2-packs nonetheless.

Well, I'm just going to assume that the Azrael/Batman 2-pack is going to be pretty f'n popular. I think I can find one though, since I did end up finding three of the Mad Love set. I only bought two though.

By the way, I'm definitely buying this Poison Ivy and Black Mask. They're very impressive.

Are all these new figures minus the New 52 for the Club thing?

The New 52, Supergirl and the Knightfall and War of the Green Lantern 2-packs are alll retail offerings. The rest of the figures are part of the Infinite Earths club.

Alienweirdo 02-13-2012 09:37 AM

Does anyone know if Matty said that the Infinite Club would have some day of sale stock? I'm only interested in the Batman villains and didn't sign up for the club...

kenm2474 02-13-2012 01:53 PM

Compairing these 2 Figures DCD New 52 Superman and DCU New 52. I have to say that I am unimpressed with DCU on how they 98% of the time use a Small S-Shield on his chest. It took me 8 years to buy a DCUC Superman after finding the only one they made with a large S-Shield on his chest in the Superheroes line. DCD can do it and DCU Has done it with the Superheroes line of Superman. So why not the NEW 52? It makes no sense. The widest part of his S-Sheild needs to extend to the inner edge of his chest.

I agree. The little "s" symbols are annoying.

In other news, I saw some additional Toy Fair 2012 photos on Tumblr and the New 52 Superman does indeed have mid-thigh articulation. It is impossible to see in these ToyArk photos, but it is there. If I come across the photo again, I will edit and attach.

EDIT: It should be clearly visible in the attached photo!

Yes. Yes they will.

Can't wait doe Rocket Red! I was hoping we'd get Rocket #4 - Dmitri Pushkin, but we're going to get #1 Josef Denisovitch, which is still okay with me!

I'm getting a Custom of Rocket Red 07. I like the Tank Look.

For those of us that missed the chance to get our hands on DCSH Steel from 2007, Toy Guru announced at Toy Fair 2012 that the figure would be re-released in DC All-Stars Wave 3...

The Question is Will it be a Chrome or Matt Finish on his chest. I lucked out and found him in Walmart years ago before I knew he would increase in value so much. Now I will grab him againg if he has a Chrome Finish.

Prowl 2009 02-27-2012 11:20 AM

BBTS has pre-orders up for DC All-Stars Wave 2 & 3 today! Wave 2 was revealed before Christmas and contains:

New 52 Superman
New 52 Flash
Supergirl
Red Robin

We now have a list of figures being included in Wave 3, they are:

Batgirl
Batman (JSA)
Hawkman
Steel

I am currently trying to see if anyone at Mattel knows if Batgirl is another Barbara Gordon or a rerelease of Cassandra Cain from DCSH.

Stay tuned!

To order your DCAS Wave 2
To order your DCAS Wave 3

Crazy Jetty 02-27-2012 04:57 PM

I've had wave 3 preordered for a couple days now. I may or may not want Red Robin, but want nothing else in his wave. I'll just risk not finding him at retail (Pretty confident he's not the Tim Drake Red Robin)

Good Stuff 02-27-2012 06:51 PM

Can't wait for Steel! Just awesome but I do hope it's chrome...
