Well in the Odin wave Scarlet Witch and Cap. Marvel are "swaps" but have different parts so the Spider females may follow suite.

Scarlet Witch and Cap. Marvel contain variations of the same parts. (Head, cape, and weapon) The Madame Masque and Madame Hydra figures followed this theme with the Arnim Zolo/Red Skull variations of the chest piece.

If these are the only figures left in the wave, then Spider-girl and Spider-woman would have to actually have different body parts, not variations of the same part, to complete the BAF.

Axe2024 01-05-2015 05:25 PM

If you look at the case assortment both women figures are 2 per case. Which is quite unusual for hasbro cases so I'm not sure if this is entirely accurate or hasbro is doing something new.

Phantomcrow 01-05-2015 05:49 PM

I am guessing 2 more figures. That would give them the same ratio of figures as in the Avengers line since they have 2 Variants. But if they change out parts for the variants , I can not imagine who you could make a new head and torso with using the limbs the same. A new Ramos Goblin that would be inaccurate??? Have to wait and see.

warmachine6 01-05-2015 05:55 PM

looks to me that the wave is complete
but wondered maybe we might see a re-booted venom soon
due to carnage, anti-venom , er toxin .... Be awesome to see Venom... oh yeah we got Flash Thompson venom but not the same ^_^
now don't forget the amazing spidey wave got 10 figures ! and
3 variations
- Beetle / boomerang
- black cat/ spider-girl ?
- carnage and toxin.

might do something similar, but i can imagine it getting all hissy annoying collecting different figs with same baf piece i.e cap. america wave

decepticon_mark 01-05-2015 06:26 PM

Yep. Think it'll be the Cap. wave BAF senario all over again. The Spider females will probably have the same body parts even though they're swaps since Hasbro has said all swaps will be in each case from now on. The Odin wave is the exception on swap BAF parts since there are two BAFs where the Spidey line has only one BAF. So it's the Hydra/Skull, AIM/Zemo situation all over.

Spyne98 01-06-2015 06:28 AM

Am I missing where they talk about swaps? I don't see anything about that.

Ah, fair enough. I'm sick of swaps personally. I still have that fear that certain swaps (like Blade, Moonstar, Bulldozer) won't come out.

if they deny us either a Scarlet Witch or Captain Marvel it's not going to be pretty.

Phantomcrow 01-06-2015 11:24 AM

I believe they said Blade and Moonstar will never happen. Songbird, Batroc, and Bulldozer might make it out the same way Radioactive Man did in a 3 pack. I only still hope for Songbird if they are doing a Citizen V, otherwise I don't care. Batroc woulds be nice for a classic villain, but I am only wanting Bulldozer the most. Having a hole in my Wrecking Crew is annoying.

Don't forget the Wolverine ones as well like Rogue/P5 Cyke.

decepticon_mark 01-06-2015 12:39 PM

Hasbro stated P5 Cyclops was indeed cancelled.

ultraman zoffy 01-06-2015 12:55 PM

Honestly, Phoenix Cyke looked like he was going to have crappy range of motion in the shoulders due to his costume design, so I don't feel bad about the cancellation. Just custom one with working articulation.

The back of recent packaging has shown both figures when it is included in a swap. The picture of Spider-woman is from the back of the upcoming figure's packaging. If you look at the picture of Spider-woman you can see Spider-girl's hand in the same picture. Hence, swap.

I think it's been stated that all upcoming swaps will include both figures in a case.

ProfessorHov 01-06-2015 05:50 PM

Hoping they go comic and movie mix with this wave since Toy Biz Legends Hank Pym is pretty pricey on the secondary market.

Recently updated my villain shelf with acrylic risers and magnets on all the figures. Nice and cleanly organized now =)

Spyne98 01-06-2015 08:40 PM

Where'd you get the DCPI from? All Marvel Legends.net has is a title. I need pictures, something. Maybe Toy Fair will have something next month

ProfessorHov 01-06-2015 09:28 PM

Someone posted and the dcpi was verifted at a target

TheXtremisT 01-07-2015 03:31 AM

Oh this again? It's been no-where stated or written this is Marvel Legends yet. People are jumping to conclusions. But hey, it may end up being 6 inch scale, but without the Legends name in the title, I can't see it being the case.

Every other series in the past year + using the Infinite title, which is in 6 inch scale, has carried "Legends" along with it.

warmachine6 01-07-2015 05:44 AM

I reckon it might be a small [ugh i hate it when i make a pun] wave for ant-man

TheBlueMarvel 01-07-2015 06:06 AM

Well, that's an interesting development. I'd be surprised if Hasbro were capable of this degree of subterfuge (maybe too strong of a word)...

I tend to agree with TheExtremist in that Hasbro seems to be distinguishing their 6" offerings with the title "Legends" due to both the 6" and 3.75" lines sharing the moniker of "Infinite".

What/who would be in an Antman line? A new Wasp? A new (and still deceased) Bill Foster? Goliath's nephew, Thomas Foster? A new (and still deceased) Scott Lang? Scott's daughter, Stature? A new Ultron? Hank in his West-Coast Avengers strange science jump-suit (while I like that costume and want the fig made - it has a very Dr. Venture "speed-suit" quality to it)? Curious......

I'm 100% sure Scott Lang is alive and well (but he was dead for some time). Stature is also alive again as of a few weeks ago.

But I would be cool with just about everyone you named. I have a custom Stature, but I wouldn't mind another one.
