They also confirmed that the X-Men will be rebooted and are in early development.

What? I think Trevor was the best character in the entire MCU haha. The slate of movies are insane. Kevin Feige is a absolute genius

Vamp 07-20-2019 07:29 PM

Excited about the new Blade movie coming out soon

I read that Strong Guy was the BAF in the next Deadpool wave.

SymbiSpidey 07-20-2019 07:31 PM

On the TV Show side of things, Falcon and Winter Soldier will have Daniel Bruhl return as Zemo, complete with his purple mask.

Hulkwummy 07-20-2019 08:14 PM

MCU Phase 4 movies announced and still no sequel to The Incredible Hulk, dag gum it.

Tarooster 07-20-2019 08:23 PM

After all the failed attempts the most exciting thing to me of all is Fantastic Four. Hickman's run on FF is one my favorites ever and they deserve a great film.

snake5289 07-20-2019 08:25 PM

Doctor Strange 2 and a new Blade...one step closer to Midnight Sons.

That's also cool depending on the other figures in the wave, hopefully Siryn and Maverick

I've been saying this for years. Feige and his team are top notch, not just in terms of making comic book films, but Legends in the eyes of Hollywood. He is hands down one of the best producers of any media in modern history. This is how you keep this universe going. Marvel has thousands of characters that they can continue to pull from, and the still haven't touched F4 or X-Men. I'm glad they didn't get caught up in the thrill of having them and feeling the need to use them right away. Take their time and build on the plans they have, then introduce Marvel's first family, and mutants when the time is right.

Above all else, I hope the rumblings I heard of Hasbro losing the Marvel Legends license get put to rest, because I'm going to need figures for all of these films and shows. The Eternals, Shang-Chi, Loki, WandaVision, The Falcon and Winter Soldier, Doctor Strange, Hawkeye, Thor, Black Widow, and Blade. All franchises that can produce more and more MCU figures, along with comic figures that tie in. I'm not just thinking about myself, I want everyone to be happy.

Hands down, this was my favorite thing to come out of SDCC this year.

They're showing us stuff that won't be out until 2020 with way too much vigor and confidence for someone who might be in danger of losing the license. Hasbro has been giving Marvel more dedicated collector love than Star Wars or their own IPs (Transformers) so I feel comfortable saying that they aren't losing it any time soon.

There's so much stuff I'm going to need from this line following Marvel Studios announcements tonight. I'm with you, I don't feel like Hasbro has giving us any indication that they're parting ways. I read this here a while back, and on the Fwoosh a couple of days ago. But until I hear it from the source, it's business as usual.

urrutiap 07-20-2019 09:02 PM

I went to Walmart earlier tonight and found a few of the new Kingpin build a figure series. the only figures at Walmart were the ones with both Kingpin arms and the body. The Puma figure and multi arms Spider-Man are the only decent looking figures.

Dr Kain 07-20-2019 09:18 PM

Doctor Strange, Blade, and Fantastic Four are the only ones I truly care about.

The Eternals and Shan-Chi I'll go see because it's the MCU, but I would have no interest in them any other way. Black Widow is 50/50 for me.

As for Thor, eh, I think he's had enough movies.

We still need Morbius, Darkhold Redeemers, and Danny Ketch.

Hmm....I wonder if we'll see Mjolnir repaired in the near future.

Also, Elizabeth Olsen will be in Doctor Strange 2.

hasbroherofan 07-20-2019 10:13 PM

Who wants to bet the Multiverse stuff opens the door for Ryan Reynolds to make an appearance as Deadpool?

Like I said one step closer but it's still a pretty long road ahead.

They've already said that Deadpool will be released under the Fox banner and won't be a part of the MCU. The folks on the Disney board may like the movies and the money that Deadpool brings in, but they'll NEVER want the Disney brand to be associated with an R-Rated movie.

Fat Thor brought Mjolnir to the present when he and Rocket collected the Reality Stone in 2013. At the end of Endgame, Cap can be seen picking up the hammer before he leaves to replace all of the stones. I'm not sure if the enchantment would still work but it's possible that Mjolnir is still lying near that cliff in Norway where Hela shattered it.

Please finish the remaining few from the X-Men poster and recreate it. Thanks.

Yes please.

They are getting close. Only about 6 and a half figures to go. The half is Domino. Her current figure is close enough for me.

Apparently the screenwriters of Endgame said at comic-con that 2014 Gamora survived Tony's snap. I guess GotG vol3 will address this, if it isn't the main plot.

I suggested this to a buddy shorty after watching the 3rd season of True Detective. I'm glad for this, despite being of the opinion that Mahershala patterned his all around stage-craft heavily on Snipes. Nothing wrong with being a fan of Snipes (I am), but Mahershala comes perilously close to the line. Sort of like like Kobe did to Jordan, the difference being I like Mahershala. Let's see if he can take Blade somewhere new...

Edit

Softening that hot-take a bit by adding that Mahershala does have range and I liked Moonlight, Kicks, and Green Book along with almost everything he's been in. My opinion largely revolves around his Cottonmouth performance where I was reminded a little too much of Wes' Sugah Hill and New Jack City - gangster-chic. But that also could have been a directorial thing. I hope he can bring his own voice to Blade, he's an exciting pick for the role and deserves better than the somewhat unfair comparison I've made.

so what did he snap away? evil/ bad? if that were the case there wouldn't be any need for heroes, and i forgot how tony could master using the gauntlet to know not to snap a character thanos brought with him to attack earth without even knowing the character at all. so not a big deal to kill off quicksilver and leave him dead, but gamora is? I mean at the end star lord is watching old vids of her due to being in mourning til thor walks in and makes him panic to turn it off. so i guess seeing end game has the reverse effect of seeing the movie before the new guardians of the galaxy?

urrutiap 07-21-2019 05:00 AM

anyone else finding a few of the Kingpin build a figure series at Walmart?
