Like I said, if he did have any kids it'd be in the alternate timeline. Also he and Sharon never really got together, they kissed once and then he went back in time to create an alternate life with Peggy.

No biggie, just making sure.

As for US Agent, I was thinking about it and there could be an interesting way to fit him in. Unless the passage of time and trauma caused by Thanos has convinced Ross to forgive and forget, Sam is technically still a fugitive. From this angle the government could put forth their own chosen successor who would obviously clash with Sam and eventually adopt the title US Agent.

Edit: I am not surprised that I looked it up and my pitch of government officials sending Walker to get the shield from Sam basically did happen in the comics.

The trailer to Black widow looked awesome as hell. Reminded me of a combination between Wick and Bourne.

On the Dr strange I think you’re probably right it might have Mephisto or Blackheart because during the panel they said it’s gonna be MCU’s first Horror type film which is so awesome.

Also Glad to see Endgame broke Avatar’s record to be the highest grossing film of all time.

Yes!! The biggest film of all time should have more Legends to go with it, but I'm patient. We will get them over time.

I hate when you get figures like that. My Hela had 2 left feet. Luckily her cape helps her stand.

Yes, crossing fingers. that show was my childhood.

The Legends team will be at D23, which is only a month away.

While this photo is from the Star Wars panel, JayC confirmed with the Legends team that this was almost exactly their convention schedule as well.

How are they doing an Eternals movie without Sersi?

lordbest 07-21-2019 09:37 PM

Sersi is going to be in it they just haven't announced who is playing her

The worst part is that I never actually looked over his parts when I got him like I usually do. If I had, I would have picked up a replacement way back when as I saw him a million times. It wasn't until I was doing some pictures earlier this year that I actually looked at him and thought, "Why does his legs look off?" and then realized the issue.

As for the upcoming MCU films, I have no idea who any of the characters in The Eternals are, so I have no interest in that movie. I also feel like it is too late for a Black Widow movie. It should have happened BEFORE Endgama. Doctor Strange is the only one of the five coming out in the next two years I am excited for.

Ok that article is a year out of date and the cast list and characters released this past weekend at SDCC doesn't mention Sersi

lordbest 07-22-2019 03:22 AM

Ah, linked the wrong one, sorry. Variety are still reporting Sersi will be in it, they may be wrong of course.

Veronica Mars 07-22-2019 03:32 AM

Maybe she and whoever they have playing her are their ace in the hole

There were less reveals than I thought there would be, but I’m so happy you guys are getting lots of figures you wanted! As an MCU only collector, I’m grateful for the Endgame Wave 3 figures. Iron Man looks great, definitely needed a Heimdall, Valkyrie was on my list of figures I hope they’d do, and I’m pleasantly surprised that Hasbro decided to redo Iron Patriot so quickly, that will look great on my shelf with the other Endgame figures. I understand lots of people missed out on the Vision 2 pack, so it’s good they will have a chance to get him.

Welcome fellow MCU collector! I was hoping for more MCU reveals as well but my wallet is thankful that Endgame wave 3 is it for the year. As for what we did get, I'm happy with it but there are some gripes. I'm probably going to skip Cap because there are no improvements to his articulation over the original. Heimdall looks amazing but I would've preferred his traditional look. On the fence about Vision. I have the one from the two pack. Do I really need one that's partially translucent? I would've skipped the Iron Patriot (really prefer the War Machine version) but those extra weapons sold me on the figure. And finally, Lebowski Thor. Eh, I want him but he's not absolutely essential to my collection. He's not worth buying complete and I don't want to pay retail for Cap and Vision just to complete him.

From what I understand, we're not likely to see a stand alone Hulk movie anytime soon. Universal has the rights to Hulk and will only allow Marvel Studios to use the character as part of a team or in a side role.

I'm pretty sure Cap took the hammer with him when he went back in time. I would assume he needed to return Mjolnir to its proper timeline as well.

I'm hoping whatever she ends up wearing in her solo effort is released with a Civil War head sculpt, and I hope they also include an Endgame version in the same wave.

I hope we get a first appearance Natasha in the Black Widow wave.

Not only will we continue to get MCU figures in the waves, but I think they will keep releasing the 2 pack sets to compliment them. No confirmation, no source, just a gut feeling.

I wonder if there will be a theme to coincide with the release of older MCU characters. For instance, next year will be the tenth anniversary of Iron Man 2. Hopefully that means we'll get Whiplash, Justin Hammer and the Hammeroids.

Buying a completed figure on the secondary market or tracking down just the baf pieces you need are your only options. I typically go with buying the completed baf if I want less than two figures from the wave. However in Kingpin's case, I've yet to find him under $100 so I'm just going to wait to buy the wave when it's on sale.

urrutiap 07-22-2019 06:41 AM

Im not talking about an actual whole Thanos build a figure complete. Im talking about if theres been a regular carded Thanos figure in stores at Walmart or whatever thats 5-8 bucks.

This! I mean, Firestar shouldn't be that hard to do parts wise. Spider-Man is their #1 character, and Iceman could be a straight repack or slightly recolored. The 3 pack is an absolute no-brainer for Hasbro and at this point it's just silly they haven't done it.

on the other hand, they've been giving us so much great stuff. It's just this one character and GA Storm that seem to be the huge gaping holes in the line at this point. Other than that, I've been pretty happy with them. For four years in a row now I've managed to cross off someone in my top 5 - Enchantress, Polaris, Madrox and now Moonstar. Hoping Firestar is next for a 2020 release.

No.
This is the best you're gonna get for near that price. https://www.target.com/p/marvel-aven...=1563805063234 https://www.target.com/p/marvel-aven...=1563805576761

There is a legends scale Chinese figure.
https://www.google.com/aclk?sa=l&ai=...pysIwgM&adurl=
Supposedly, it is officially licensed but don't hold me to that. I'm thinking about it. I'd say it's superior to the BAF in most ways.

Edit: Just noticed you want to keep it at around $5-8. Honestly, you probably should be hunting for those basic six inch figures. Even those don't get that low unless their own clearance.

Universal better watch themselves then. If Disney decides they want to make another stand alone Hulk movie and they refuse, they're going to find themselves being bought by Emperor Mickey.

Trivial Psychic 07-22-2019 08:36 AM

People are already starting to sell the spare heads of the new Emma Frost on eBay as custom fodder. Keep an eye on your local Walgreens as we might be seeing her sooner than later.

Boy Blunder 07-22-2019 11:53 AM

I hate that I'm gonna be buying three of the Dani Moonstar figure just to have Dani, Rahne, and Shan.

Incidentally, anyone have any suggestions for a leg I could use for Shan's prosthetic?
