I'm guessing comic and movie versions of ant-man
maybe wasp, perhaps in the ultimate version.. if we're lucky though Hasbro has been surprising.
maybe the main villain I'm not expecting a big wave
be nice though

TheBlueMarvel 01-07-2015 06:55 AM

@Spyne98

Oh, he is? Thanks for the info...I don't read books currently, I stopped some 6-7 years ago to shift all of my "collecting dollars" to figures....the books were that bad at the time. Is Bill Foster alive again? Probably not....

jwyss234 01-07-2015 08:11 AM

I'd guess movie Ant Man and the movie's villain (won't spoil it here).
Comic Wasp and Comic Ant Man. I'd be fine with either Pym or Lang.
For a comic villian, maybe Whirlwind. They did Goliath in the Marvel Universe line so I'd say a Giant Man BAF.

JamesBenjamin 01-07-2015 09:15 AM

So we haven't heard anything about the assortment at all, right?
Its also interesting that its titled "Avengers Ant Man Inf(inite?)"... cross branding with Avengers?

ultraman zoffy 01-07-2015 09:28 AM

For the sake of my budget, I'm hoping that the Ant-Man listing ends up being an "Ant-Man Inf(antwear)" cosplay line for kids that I can easily pass on. =)

my guess is

Antman Movie (Lang)
Antman Classic (Pym)
Yellowjacket
Wasp / Cassie Lang (Swap)
Ultron / Comic Vision
some random avenger to fill out the line.

Giantman BAF

nakobass 01-07-2015 03:18 PM

2 Attachment(s)
Marvel Universe Titanium Man Energy Effect Parts. Look pretty cool on Marvel Legends Ms Marvel.

Giantman BAF

Hasbro will NOT give a Giantman BAF.....most likely it will be a MUCH smaller character.....maybe a WASP BAF knowing them.....

I would love a Giant Man BAF but this is Hasbro....they only do regular sized 8.5" BAF's tops.

I would love a Paul Rudd and Michael DOuglas figure but again this is Hasbro!

SOmewhat excited to see the figs nonetheless.

TheBlueMarvel 01-07-2015 05:38 PM

I want a classic Black Goliath....and for pigs to fly. Which will I get first?

redfox 01-07-2015 07:16 PM

I could see the Ant-man wave following the original Spider-man wave's formula. One movie hero, one movie villain, and the rest comic versions of miscellaneous characters.

jwyss234 01-08-2015 12:28 AM

A Giant Man the size of Groot wouldn't be ideal but I'd take it. Is there a height limit to Marvel Select figures? The few MS figures I've gotten the past couple of years have been pretty nice so I'd be willing to see what they have to offer.

Exodus 01-08-2015 11:24 AM

Having to put this up for sale Marvel Legends Thanos Imperative SDCC 2014 Gladiator Starlord MISB, slight tear on the wing part of the box, but other then that still great. PM for pics and if you're interested cost 150 USD paypal includes shipping, no international buyers though. Thanks.

Although I personally have no interest in a Giant Man figure, he would be the perfect character to inaugurate the launch of larger-scale figures (like the MU series Galactus and Sentinels from a few years ago) for the Legends line.
Definitely wishful thinking on my part though. But, it would be nice if Hasbro would find some way to give us larger figures, since they won't do so with their BAFs.

Would kill for Giant Man but sadly I know Hasbro and know to lower expectations.

Hasbro has attempted this before with the MU line. It was called Gigantic Battles and paired a large scale figure with a 3.75 figure. Through this line two versions of Hank Pym's Goliath, Bill Foster's Goliath, a Skrull Giant Man, and a Frost Giant were all released.

ultraman zoffy 01-09-2015 12:17 AM

Well... on the appreciation tip, I just learned to really appreciate my Nick Fury figure that I've pretty much hated since I bought him ages ago. Rocked out his ankles and did the magnet thing, and now I've got him going all John Woo with the poses. =)

easy with the yelling. I don't see how they wouldn't its the easiest one to do it with. I can see them doing Rudd as Lang, but then Pym is a comic version. Wasp wont be a BAF, if anything Yellowjacket would be.

TheBlueMarvel 01-09-2015 06:36 AM

I'm still flummoxed by the fact this line ostensibly materialized out of thin air. The early scuttlebutt about the film flopping (directorial shift) might explain how this line's announcement never made it to pressers at SDCC or NYCC 2014 (none that I know of at least...).

In any event, I'm always happy to hear of more Marvel Legends being thrown our way. Maybe this line will feature ALL movie figs. I'm not a big movie/TV fig fan, but comic canon supporters like myself have gotten a lot of service as of late and I'm more than ok with movie-philes (made up word :D) getting some love...

Thanks for the heads up. I pre ordered a Scarlet Witch, Captain Marvel and Sentry. I'm hoping the other are easy to find in stores.

VashTS 01-09-2015 08:52 AM

what is the case breakdown? How many of each?

TRU site isn't working most likely its being hammered,

I tried 10 times during my lunch break...well back to earning that pay check!

SOrry about the caps...I use for emphasis. I got the internet lingo it means yelling...some of us it just means emphasis on important words. Sort of like quotation marks are for quotes or sarcasm.

Phantomcrow 01-09-2015 11:15 AM

Got my Captain Marvel and Scarlet Witch ordered from TRU. Not worried about the boys. And even due the first week of Feb. Knew these would show up early in the new year.

Marvel Legends Infinite Series Maidens of Might 6 Inch Figure - Scarlet Witch - Hasbro - Toys "R" Us

jwyss234 01-09-2015 11:25 AM

I was going to order the Odin wave from TRU until I saw the sales tax was going to be over $12. Hopefully BBTS or Dorkside will have the wave up for preorder soon.
