If this hasn’t been mentioned yet but The 80th Captain America is starting to hit. Just saw him at my Walmart. If you’re in Memphis it’s the Germantown one. They had 6.

Found storm today...kinda of disappointed with her.
She looks great, but mine has annoying loose joints. Her knees just cannot support her own weight while trying to stand her for any extended length of time

Clear nail polish. instant fix for loose joints.

I would have easily traded in that horrible figure stand they call a slide for some open hands. His paint job is kind of weird too because he looks more like Silver Surfer to me, but he's got no loose joints at all like that trainwreck Hasbro did a few years ago.

It does look like the Silver Surfer. I saw one at Target yesterday, but I passed because of the line on the face. It is a bummer that they are all like that. I think I am going to just stick with the Iceman I already have. Oh well.

Oh! I got ya... lemme dig it up... it's these floors (fish tank stuff) with attic liner walls... :)

...and attic liner is super cheap... like $2 for 6ft of it or something. Just very flimsy. I chopped it all up into manageable sections... I use it all over the place-

If you look for it at homedepot it's generally in the back corner (near the insulation foam boards)

The Nightcrawler of the recent X-Force Wendigo build a figure line, whats with the extra third head where the open mouthed head is a more darker colored? There a reason for that?

He’s sometimes (and originally) drawn that way. One of the powers he has that usually gets overlooked is he is able to blend in with shadows.

No he's not. Target was even advertising them as being the only physical retailer to be carrying him in stores. He even has a DCPI.

Wait, which Hulk are we talking about?

Nostalgic 08-05-2019 04:26 AM

Does anyone know the official release date for the 80th Captain America Walmart exclusive? My local Walmart shows that they have them in stock, but they never put anything out before the official release date so I’d love to know when to head down there.

Okay, I found that at Gamestop last month so I've stopped paying attention to news on it. This does continue to cause frustration with the entire "fan channel" exclusive pitch. If the set's available at two physical stores (Gamestop and Target) and pretty much every online store, then why label it exclusive at all? Did they deliberately make the term "fan channel" as vague as possible to trick people?

I was waiting for this set to hit clearance but it disappeared from every store near me. Hopefully, they'll restock around here and it eventually goes to clearance because I only want MJ.

Here I've tried my hand at recreating Ghost's phasing by overlaying 2

I think you may be onto something with them reusing Luis's buck for Happy. I noticed Luis's figure had a bit of a gut on him. lol

Great effect on Ghost!

It's entirely possible that it's a deliberate homage but at the same time it could be total coincidence and both are sourcing from real stealth spec-ops motifs. I also get a pretty strong MGS vibe from Ghost in the comics.

I'd wish they'd give us a first appearance Ghost figure. I can't stand his emaciated, floating specter look.

The Other, Spider-Verse, all neo-classic must reads. Also, we desperately need a base body that has the ruffles on it - is that Victorian era?

Has comic Dracula ever sported the ruffled shirt look? I hope so. I'd really like a Dracula that didn't look like Bela Lugosi or an albino barbarian.

Yeah, I've been on the hunt for the Kingpin wave. I haven't found them as low as $8.50 but they are online for $13.99. Be prepared to show the cashier the online price if they're priced higher in the store.

Man, you're finding deals all over the place. I'd snatch up so many of those Fortnite figures if I could get them at $10.

Outstanding!!! BTW, I really want this Thanos without the infinity Gauntlet. Is there a bare left arm BAF piece that might be suitable custom fodder?

Spyne98 08-05-2019 10:56 AM

I stopped by WalMart today and I'm pleased to say that I found the Colossus and Juggernaut 2 pack! Woohoo!

SymbiSpidey 08-05-2019 11:16 AM

So many definitive versions of characters this year! Here's a quick Avengers shot inspired by Alex Ross

That thor is the only one I "need" and I've got him on preorder. If I am in a Walmart and I see Cap I'll pick him up. Not saying the rest don't look great, just don't need 'em.

Someone mentioned that "Fan Channel" just means "Whoever is willing to sell it." Since TRU is gone, Hasbro probably no longer has a dedicated outlet to sell certain items to, so they are going to use that terminology from now on.

Ha! These two are my go-to Alien/Predator victims... I think I've got shots of them walking unknowningly into just about every version of the Alien I have...

Up until now it's functionally meant online only or in-store at Gamestop and Best Buy, but I can believe Target wanted in and Hasbro agreed since they're still getting paid. Now "fan channel" can mean everyone whose name doesn't start with Wal.
