Eh, it's better than nothing in my opinion. Probably our only hope for DCEU figures in this scale, and images tell me that they will be in scale with the Man of Steel figures. Sure, they've broken my heart when it comes to CWverse figures, but at least they're caring to make DC figures in this scale *cough cough still no news on that DC collectibles poll winner cough cough* Speaking of which, am I the only one who thinks that it'd be cool for DCC to make an Icons spin-off line for 3.75 inch scale? 'Cause a good number of the decent DC figures from previous lines are expensive on the aftermarket, so now would be a good time to seize the opportunity to make a unified line in the vein of Marvel Universe. Base the outfits on specific times in comics, but keep the style relatively the same as to maintain continuity on the line, be highly articulated, etc. Probably would have to scale with MUs in order to succeed since apparently you can't deal with figures in a separate display being a bit shorter. Seriously, I don't get that. |

Maybe they will do some 3.75'' for the Injustice 2 game next year.

Just my opinion, of course. Or have they changed things up with the 2nd iteration?? I am out of the loop. Why why why can't we just get well scaled figures in nice, classic stylings??? My Reeves Superman needs a perfect Batman and Wonder Woman to pose next to, dang it! <End Rant> |
Actually, I would also throw much money at many figures if they were closer to Marvel Universe in scale, quality and articulation. Not just the big 3. Martian Manhunter & other JLA members, Lanterns, Dr. Fate, JL Dark, Batman villains, Creeper, Vertigo (especially Spider Jerusalem) and on and on.
Multiverse was almost there, but not quite. I bought most, but only the movie figures were on the level I am talking. Why did all Arkham Batmans have a pin head?!? And why was he smaller than all other Arkham figures? Ridic! Totally killed it for me. |

I'm just sad that we didn't get an Injustice Yellow Lantern/Sinestro two-pack.
|
Damn straight. If it wasn't for the Sinestro Corps symbol on his chest I'd just repaint a GL Sinestro.

I was hoping for something more MU Hulk-sized or slightly taller. Not Arkham freaking huge one either. |
he looks a bit younger but I think this guy from the thunderbirds line could work as gene hackman lex. what say you?

Has anyone else noted that the Boss Fight figures provide nice fodder for Wonder Woman villains and allies? There are Amazon figures, Gorgons, Tartarus Guards, and so forth. They scale well with Infinite Heroes WW too (she doesn't look great, but that's another issue). They work pretty well with the Injustice/Green Lantern figures in general. |

It looks like the unmasked Batman will be a chase figure and not come with a removable mask. |
Just for some excitement in this thread...
DC Comics Multiverse BATMAN RETURNS "THE PENGUIN" 3.75" FIGURE | eBay I don't see deals like that too often, so figured I'd share it. Shipping is a bit steep-ish, but the overall price with that shipping isn't too bad. I would save this deal for myself, but I'm not too keen on having that figure in my collection. Wish they had made that Arkham Penguin. |
Found a multiverse Arkham Catwoman at Walgreens for 1.27$. opened her up and her right had snapped immediately at the joint. So I bought a painted Catwoman head for 1.27$ which is still a damn good deal.

Sooooo I'm kinda conflicted.
This is on a future decision, btw, and it's something that may or may not be helpful for others on the thread, so here we go:http://s.ecrater.com/stores/30813/47...d4c_30813n.jpg How worth it is this Wonder Woman? Now, you may ask why I'm asking about this Wonder Woman over literally any other Wonder Woman, and my answer is that this is the cheapest classic Wonder Woman that I could find, and as my main Batman and Superman are pretty classic, I'd like to maintain that aesthetic. She seems to be relatively in scale, judging by this dude's thumb, but is there any qualities that you can only find out with her in hand that would make her not a smart buying choice? I'd prefer not to have to make a custom version if I can avoid it. Thumb pic: http://cooltoyreview.com/ToyBiz/DCSH/WonderWoman/0.jpg |
nope not in scale at all
