GOTG too, although it looks like not all TRUs have the sale.

It is hard to say what is on sale at TRU most of the time. One of the stores I hit hardly ever puts sale tags up or in the right place. I have many a time hit that store then go to another and see sale tags on stuff. It is very hit and miss on how good employees are at TRU's. I tend to check price scanners a lot at TRU.

For anyone still needing/wanting Hydra or AIM goons, Walmart.Com has Hydra for 14.03 and AIM for 16.99. Black Widow is 16.99 also.

VashTS 01-11-2015 06:39 AM

Targets have started resets and TRU is trying to clear space....for new figs. I expect them in stores in the next couple weeks.

My local stores are doing the same.

Usually Target puts them out first from what I know from a Hasbro employee....so keep your eyes peeled. But we know the west cost will get it first. So probably a week after to two weeks after it will hit the east. Usually NYC gets them very late compared to other parts of the east because of the trucks and the delivery routes through NYC.

ML series 6 Brown is still my fav Wolverine they have done. What is the clear stand you are using?? Figuarts stage act 4?? act 5?? Did not think those were strong enough to hold Legends sizes.

the one behind superior is from toybiz's classic wave of spider-man called "Cyber Spider-man"
No idea where spider-ham is from

Thanks. Yeah the Spider Ham is a Playschool figure that I sculpted over.

The era of comics that I was weaned on featured Wolverine in his brown costume, he's also my favorite.

The stands are Obitsu 1/12 1/6 and the vendor I buy them from is out of Hong Kong. They're decent stands that offer a variety of 'flight' poses. The tensile strength of the stand is pretty good given how light-weight they are. However, the stand struggles to support any fig heavier than Thor (Giantman series - or Etrigan DCUC). You'll have to be creative when finding the center of gravity with them, but they serve their purpose well. They also break (of the 10 I have, two are broken), but at roughly $10 each (shipping included)....they are winners for me.

I'm not sure if you saw my communication with another poster, but calling me "BM" (or "TBM") is fine...lol I was joking when I responded to him about "BM", but obviously I need to work on my sense of humor.:p

Here is the link you inquired about: Obitsu 1 12 to 1 6 Dollfie Figure Plastic Multi Doll Stand Assembly Kit Grey | eBay

....I should have included it in my reply to Phantomcrow, sorry dude.

The stands come in clear and smokey black from what I've seen. I've been using them in displays for a few years now...

Here are some shots of the stands in action. Sorry about the DCUC stuff, I know this isn't the right forum for them......I added them for illustrative purposes....also, I had to lean Gladiator and Beta Ray Bill against the wall to pull off the last pic.

Edit: messed up adding the Bi-Beast pic...both of those stands are "Stage 4"....too lazy to remove it...

Spyne98 01-12-2015 11:05 AM

Blue Marvel, is that a custom Bi Beast? That's beautiful!

Byrnes 01-12-2015 11:19 AM

Has there been anymore news on the 5 pack from Guardians of the Galaxy that is due out?

Thanks, I think so too! No, it's the cancelled prototype from years ago. I threw pics of it up on the "Look what I just got" thread a few months back.

Byrnes helped me get it by pointing out the eBay auction. Damnedest thing too....I actually joined this website because I thought this community represented my best chance at finding this prototype (no lie, that was my motivation)....turns out I was right. I mentioned it randomly on a thread, Byrnes PM'd me and the rest is history.

I contacted Anthony's Customs, and after some dialogue (he normally doesn't work on anything but 'original' customs) Anthony agreed to fix the paint job and add some light sculpt work (the prototype had been customized poorly by the seller - Anthony saved it as the seller had performed a butcher job on it)

It represents one of the crown pieces of my collection! Now, I need to track down that Sorcerer Supreme Brother Voodoo test shot and that Red King test shot that Hasbro never released.

Huh looks like BBTS jacked up the prices on these, not a surprise I suppose.Wolverine Legends - Previews Exclusive - Case of 8 - Marvel Figures (Hasbro) 2012-2013 Marvel Legends

Yeah they did. I think I remember $159 or something like that before.

decepticon_mark 01-12-2015 11:55 AM

@thebluemarvel. No worries I was enjoying the back anD forth picking. You don't have to work on your humor. Think it's warped juuuusssst right. :D

Wow! Awesome! I've seen that Red King in person. Someone had him in a display case at NYCC this year. Along with the grey/X-Treme X-Men outfit Psylocke, silver shirt Luke Cage and a few others. That's a fantastic piece!

If you're interested in getting a handful, say 10, of the Obitsu stands, you're much better off going with Hobby Link Japan (Multi Stand Clear by Obitsu | HobbyLink Japan). They're currently, and often, backordered, but they usually get them to you in no more than 6 weeks anyway. Price in USD for ten shipped is usually about $30, which is a lot better than $10 a piece. Also, from what I remember, they come in other colors as well, like blue and purple.

Thank you for the info. That price is better than what I've gotten on eBay (no surprise there) in the past.

@Decepticon Mark
lol thanks, that makes me feel better! Maybe some people do get my corny humor after all....

Robot Kingdom put up a preorder that showed the rest of the wave. Anti-Venom, Ultimate Spider-Woman and Daredevil (normal red DD) are the other 3 figures. If you want to see pictures just check a few pages back in this thread or look on Robot Kingdom.
