Yeah, IF you missed Binary Captain Marvel I don't think you will have that problem any more.
Odd shipper to put them in but there were 18! in the middle of this thing. I pulled one out to see how many were in there. https://live.staticflickr.com/65535/...4ccdf68b_k.jpgUntitled by Phantomcrow, on Flickr https://live.staticflickr.com/65535/...74a5e318_k.jpgUntitled by Phantomcrow, on Flickr |

First off, the one Walmart close to me that Brickseek said had the Caps didn't. The employee who offered to help looked it up and it said they had 6 on hand, but they weren't in the back and they weren't on the pegs. -_-
Second: https://i.imgur.com/RrIJYBR.jpg Dazzler and Storm arrived. I'll take pictures sometime this weekend, but so far here are my impressions of them: Dazzler - Cool, but I wish they had done multi-color flares like the disco version came with. Storm - Awe man, I love her and hate her at the same time. I absolutely abhore the cape. It's a prime example of why soft goods suck major ass. It's cheap feeling as it feels like it is going to tear every time I touch it, it's folded up due to the way she was packaged, and worst of all, it isn't even centered properly on the back side. It veers off to the right, so if I have her head turned, you can see the cape is not in the center. It's driving me crazy and I can't figure out how to fix it. Also, her legs seem to be a tad softer than normal. On the other hand, it is great to have 90s Storm, so now give me my god damned First Appearance Storm Hasbro! Just um... make her cape be out of a soft plastic instead of this Dollar Tree fabric. |

It's strange because I would've thought that they would've released him in time for the Captain Marvel movie.
I wonder if perhaps the FF stuff didn't sell as well as anticipated, so Walgreens requested more X-Men stuff instead. While Thing was impossible to find in the wild, I recall seeing an awful lot of Mr. Fantastics, Human Torches, Invisible Women and Medusas on shelves (anecdotal, yes I know). |

There have been other great stories containing Kl'rt (side note: Infinity not being among them - he wasn't used properly in that series, imo - this is not an indictment of Hickman, there were just too many character-threads in that convoluted mess to do any one hero/villain justice - it was too ambitious of a story), but the aforementioned books function a my foundation for understanding the character - the scope of his powers - and his motivations. Yeah, Nash, it's more than mildly irritating. It's as though they are more concerned about satisfying the whims of Squirrel Girl, Venom, and Ms. Marvel fans (not complaining that those fans have been serviced - bully for you all) while ignoring longstanding (back to the Toy Biz days) requests.
Particular irritants are the lack of a Blue Marvel when other ANAD characters have emerged. And, I'm sorry, but how the hell do we get a White Rabbit before Madame Web, Morlun, Carrion, Lightmaster, Ezekiel, Silvermane (body and all), Hammerhead (see last entry), Will O'The Wisp, comic Molten Man (sorry guys, I just don't see it with that BAF), Man Wolf, new Blackheart (for those straining to make the connection, he started as a Spidey villain), Gibbon, etc...the list is very long. |

I think the silly way stuff is being released is an intentional attempt to steer people to order online. The obvious downside is you can’t see what you’re actually buying. You get what you get. That would be ok if the qc was more consistent but, with the overwhelming amount of product Hasbro is pumping out I think qc issues will continue to be a problem. It’s obvious to me that Hasbro is rushing these figures to market. The overhead for selling product online is much less than traditional brick and mortar shops and it seems that this is a trend we’re seeing a lot of lately since TRU went under. Whether we collectors like it or not online shopping is the wave of the future. The days of cherry picking the best looking stuff are endangered. With online sales retailers can now force inferior products on us. Online gives retailers a way to get rid of poor quality merch that used to languish on the shelves. It’s another example of cutting corners to maximize profits. And another sad example of how consumers seem to be losing their voice in the marketplace.

I'm not sure I'd get him but I'm a little surprised Hasbro hasn't used their Jackal to give us a Vermin yet, the only new sculpting would be the head and maybe pants (I don't remember if we already have torn pants). Of course Mister Negative is still the big easy repaint that I'm surprised wasn't done when the PS4 game was still new.
Edit: We could also possibly get a classic Werewolf by Night out of the Jackal body. |

Got all figures in the Wendigo wave at Walmart today, except Nightcrawler, they didn't have him.

Just scored the whole Wendigo wave and classic IM at Walmart!
Still have a Vintage Storm for trade. Now looking for parts of the Hulk Endgame and 80th Cap for trade... |
I picked up the Colossus/Juggy set at Walmart today. They had 3 on the shelf. Oddly enough, the paint job on Colossus' belt was the only QC issue I saw between them.
So I'm pretty well caught up now, until the Walgreens Emma Frost starts to hit retail. I also tallied up what I've spent so far on Legends in 2019. It's indecent. :o :D |

Edit An All Winners Squad would be very cool. We already have Namor. |
My wife, the master haggler, got us a good haul at the toy shop today when trading in a sack of Transformers. Came away with Beta Ray Bill, Rescue, Citizen V, and Living Laser, along with DC Collectibles Bombshells Batwoman, DC Multiverse Batgirl of Burnside, and the Overwatch Ultimates Pharah/Mercy two-pack.
