She's sort of in scale... she's the same scale as the 89 batsman figures. They were 4", but she is shorter than most of them. Taller than an original gi joe, shorter than marvel universe. But her preparations make her look funky to me... the SDCC exclusive one 3.75 looks too classic with the 50's hair and anorexic body type. And that one looks like a 12 year old dressed like Wonder Woman. I feel like WW should be tall and muscular. Figures from that era look too plastic to me.

🌝 I'm mainly concerned with scale. My main Supes is the CR Superman, and he's Marvel Universe scale, and I've just accepted that my main Batman is a shortie. I just really do not want to have to customize one.🌚

sorry I no longer have her
that's why I got rid of her
Batman is closer to JLU size than MU or DCIH

Yes, but I saw a picture of her with a Super Powers Superman(who was basically the same mold as that Batman), and she was a bit shorter.

I also saw her compared to a 6 inch Wonder Woman, and the size difference was equivalent to a ML-MU difference. Let me go get that pic.

Edit: Here you go.

(sorry about the black bars. G+ thing)

In case some of you haven't seen, it's really happening! Young Justice is getting a third season!

Sweet Christmas!!

snake5289 11-07-2016 07:34 PM

Alright now where's the next season of Beware the Batman and GL: TAS? Young Justice was fine but I much preferred those two (even if YJ had better animation).

Ninjinister 11-07-2016 07:58 PM

I felt like Beware the Batman had yet to hit its stride. It was getting there, but not quite. Then again I never saw thee last of the series so what do I know. I did want it to keep going so it could find its place.

GL I totally want to come back as well. Helluva show alone for its ability for making an asshole and a ship's AI one of the most endearing couples in animation.

Awesome! Hopefully we get some 3.75" toys based on Young Justice.

I second that. Beware the Batman just got better and better. I liked Brave and the bold too.

snake5289 11-07-2016 10:40 PM

Brave and the Bold was amazing but at least it had a great finale that actually made me tear up a bit. Beware the Batman was ramping up to some potentially awesome stuff with Two-Face and The Outsiders but got the axe before it even got a chance. Wonder if I can get enough people to whine, bitch, and moan as much as the YJ fans did they'll bring it back too?

At this point I think I'd prefer NO YJ toys, just so they can't possibly use bad sales as an excuse for another cancellation. :p

Yeah. Young Justice just seemed to take all of the wrong turns when it comes to toys. For one thing, it's main market that the writers had it going for wasn't really the kind that would buy toys, and whilst Marvel was in its 3 3/4 inch heyday with Marvel Universe, we got very awkward looking 5 POA figures. I think the toys should stay in the collector's market this time around for their sakes, but that does unfortunately mean no 3 3/4 inch figures since DC seems to have mostly ditched the scale at this point(a big mistake, if you ask me).

Only hope is Funko getting the license.

Still, it took three years for them to get it back, and I'm not sure if people complain as much about those shows being cancelled, so you're gonna have to wait a while.

Btw, was how good was Beware the Batman? It hasn't come on Netflix or anything, so I haven't taken the jump to see it.

I doubt there enough beware fans out there and doubt there will ever be enough till Netflix has it. Brave and bold while not a fan favorite was pretty awesome with some decent story line that proved not every Batman story had to be dark to be good.

kylactus 11-08-2016 09:25 AM

They need to reboot batman TAS. Just pick it up 20 years later, same cast, designs, crew, writers. Base it on the premise of dark knight returns, with an older batman coming out of retirement in a Gotham that's falling apart with riots, terrorism, and crime. And don't write it just for children. They could do red hood, batman inc, the story where Bruce was lost in time, black lanterns, basically all the good D.C. Store adaptations of the last 20 years. They could even show Bruce setting up the whole terry McGinnis batman beyond situation... I think as far as anamation goes, the teen titans redo is the worst thing to happen to a franchise sence the last few episodes of the 90's x men.

It didn't have the strongest start but it picked up a lot as it went on and by the end of the series I thought it was on par with Timm's stuff. The way they handled Harvey's fall into Two-Face in the last episode was one hell of a cliffhanger and I'm so disappointed it won't get a proper finish.

Poison Shadow 11-14-2016 12:14 AM

The best we can probably hope for with YJ toys would probably be an occasional character in the 6" Multiverse line. But yeah, hopefully Funko has some level of interest in the show too.

I actually liked some of the 6" YJ toys. I'm a sucker for dioramas, and certain characters like Artemis, Red Arrow, and Aqualad were done really well. Kid Flash was... okay, and Batman wasn't bad either. I liked Sportsmaster too. But Robin was WAY too muscular and Superboy really shouldn't have been based on his solar suit appearance.

The 4" line was awful. Even the Hall of Justice display didn't make them worth it.

Also, Beware the Batman was definitely a high quality show. By the time the Anarky episode happened, I was hooked. Sadly I've still never seen the whole season, because the schedule changed toward the end and I never found it again.

snake5289 11-14-2016 02:56 AM

Oh man if you get a chance you gotta finish Beware the Batman. It gets pretty damn intense by the end.

Also, whose dumb idea was it to have Black Adam permanently looking down at an angle!? You could give Aquaman the ability to look up, but not Black Adam!? At least I managed to find a pose where that can work for him, and I finally have a place for that Mandarin sword.

I still need to grab a second Adam and try to make a SHAZAM! Guess I'm just trying to wait and see if Injustice 2 gets any figures.

The pack is extremely cheap on every website I've seen it on. You could just grab another two pack and sell the extra Aquaman(or use it for something else. Whatever you want to do).

Though if you want to make Shazam, you could just use a Gandalf.

I think he means the Hero Formerly Known as Captain Marvel.

The Young Justice figures are in scale with MUs I think if you pretend it's the adult versions of the kids, lol.
