My local Walmart was sold out of Cap and Iron along with Hela and Skurge in 2 days. They did get the Luis and Ghost 2pack and the Grandmaster and Korg late last week but no one has touched those.

Found a Scorpion and Mysterio from Molten Man wave. Stashed them in case anyone needs them. Though the boxes were kinda crushed.

When I picked up my Cap Walmart had 5 Thors, 4 IMs, and 2 Caps. WHen I was there again on Friday night they had 2 IMs, 3 Thors, and 1 Cap.

No 80th figures at any Target yet beyond when I got the Colossus pack. They don't even have price tags for the 80th line on the pegs.

Trivial Psychic 08-18-2019 07:52 AM

All these supposed 80th Caps floating around and ain't nobody offering some help for those of us less unfortunate and have yet to run into a single one...I see how it is...:cry

Also...one of these is full of crap...Brickseek will tell you they are there, the Walmart website and employees will say, "nope...it's not and there isn't one within 50 miles of you." So which is it? :mad2

urrutiap 08-18-2019 08:05 AM

The Walmart store that I always go to out of town at least once a month or so, whenever they get the new X Men Marvel Legends they sell out real fast in like a day while the Avengers movie figures are still pegwarming in the aisles.

I dunno what October is gonna be like when I go back to my usual shopping to catch up on. Im pretty sure the Walmart store will still have the Avengers Endgame Thanos build a figure stuff . . If I really want Australia Dazzler or Storm that bad, Ill just have to order them off of online or make a quick stop at the Gamestop shop at the mini mall next to Menards

Even the Kingpin build a figure line is decent but all Walmart has for the Kingpin build a figure are the arms, one leg and the body part.

Sorry, but I can't afford to do that anymore. I tried it a few months ago with Worthy Cap and no one wanted him despite people complaining they couldn't find him, so it bit me in the ass.

One person even accused me of ripping people off because my "shipping was too high" despite shipping being expensive these days for any box bigger than 2 inches. I mean, it cost me $10 to ship a simple Overwatch figure I gave away for free on my channel and the box was like 5x5x5. Even a single BAF arm costs $4 to ship. Shipping ain't cheap anymore.

I ranted about them the other week and several days later my wife found one and surprised me after work. I mentioned how the QC sucked and it had issues. But I was lucky that she went out again later and found 1 more left and bought it. So I have one extra but I'm going to cobble the 2 into a great 1 or I'd offer it.

80th Cap is a consolation prize for now as I never found Worthy Cap.

Dang, I would have paid for it. I never found him. But I see where you're coming from. I still have an extra Corvus 2 pack, Beast, etc. and NECA Turtle 2 packs because people wanted it then I gave them shipping quotes and they wanted me to find a cheaper route, which there wasn't, or to stick them loose in a bubble mailer, which I'm not taking a chance on for such a small savings.

Veronica Mars 08-18-2019 11:04 AM

What takes Entertainment Earth so long to ship? My order has been processing for 4 days and my card was charged a week ago. Anyone else have any experience with them?

Starlord67 08-18-2019 11:16 AM

Well if anyone is interested I have the vintage X-men wave (except Storm) and I need to sell them. It's cost plus shipping. Pm me if you are interested.

JCarterVA 08-18-2019 12:40 PM

Target.com has some of the 80th figures available.

kenm2474 08-18-2019 02:09 PM

I have an extra New Beast if anyone is interested. $20 Shipped.

That’s why I look for trades instead of selling. I’d rather find something I can use instead of argue over pricing with someone. If it’s a fairly coveted figure it will be worth more down the road if I end up hung on it, no big deal.

Still have a Worthy Cap, Storm and Beast for trade if anyone has an Emma Frost...

Is there any rhyme or reason to some Silver Samurai being labelled Silver Sam?

Are you talking about how part of the name is behind the bubble on the retro packaging?

kylactus 08-18-2019 08:43 PM

I’ve seen a couple at gamestop where the UARI is cut off on the print as well. Search eBay, for silver samurai, there are several silver sams on there. I guess the printers got lazy on the second run.

Oh, that is weird. I would have to guess that it's just a printing error since the packaging is made in layers.

kenm2474 08-19-2019 08:44 AM

Some of my BAFs. Could not fit them all on the display. But feel pretty good with what I have collected over the 15 Years I have been collecting.

Very cool! Looks like you’ve got a nice collection going.

Off Topic: Does anyone know the actual height of a Mighty Mugg figure?

The current ones with the spinning face selection are just about 4" on average, I only have two but they're both about the same size. The originals stood at about 6".

Captain Nash 08-19-2019 03:11 PM

So as you (may) all know I haven't been able to get around much of late - between sickness and being home bound taking care of a dog with hourly feedings much of the day (so glad I work from home...), the times I've been able to get out that haven't been going to the gym or grocery shopping have been minimal.

All that to preface....I FINALLY watched Endgame this weekend. I know I already knew a lot of spoilers and that's fine, because it has been almost four months since release, after a week or so after release of common courtesy, it's not on the everyone else to make sure my lack goes spoiler free. Still even knowing what I knew, it was still great. Loved the Wanda vs. Thanos moment. Poor purple raisin had to call his entire army to save his wrinkly butt. So much other great stuff too, but that was probably my favorite.

The other thing: I was able to get to a further away Walmart for the first time in a long time - when I say further away I mean more than just the two closest lol. What do I see on my forage but a (IMO) perfectly painted lone 80th Captain America. I wasn't thinking of getting him but how could I not? That figure is a thing of beauty. They had a few of the multi packs but no other Single 80th figures. I feel lucky as I know the single figures have been hell to find from what I'm reading.

That's all..I just wanted to share because...well....I have nothing else to say. :p

In my experience it's not that the singles are hard to find as much as it is a bitch finding ones, mainly Thor, with good QC. Well, I guess in a roundabout way that does roughly equate to being hard to find.
