Erm... So Canada's Fan Expo starts today. Wondering if we shall see any Alphans. It would be dope to see Snowbird or Aurora and Northstar. That would be my guesses. But it will probably be Puck, since he's more prominent in comics atm.
My dream would be for them to complete the team. Aurora, Northstar, Snowbird and Vindicator could easily be single releases. Leaving only a re-do of Puck and Marrina maybe in a two Puck with classic Wendigos head.
If that ever happens (thou I have zero hopes), I'd love it if they did Talisman, Box, and Nemesis. That would complete the most prominent characters from the original Byrne's run.
As for villains, I'd love Diamond Lil, The Master, and Gilded Lily.
But I'm sure, unless there's a movie or successful TV show, we are never gonna complete the Alpha Flight cast.

Oooooh. I want all of them. My dream is to make a trilogy of “Alpha Flight” movies. I see a figure of Snowbird as likely, since she was part of a leak a couple years ago (and everyone else from it has been produced, except her and Lady Deathstrike). Shaman also seems likely, since he could reuse tooling from Forge. And Aurora and Northstar feel like givens. Heather Hudson would also be easy to do. Puck is popular enough that they might redo him, at the least, he’ll get a rerelease. Marrina seems least likely, since she’d need new tooling. Past that, I don’t expect anything, as much as I’d like to see more (although, in this line, nothing is impossible).

I think the tools for all those members already exists. The aforementioned Forge to Shaman.
Marrina would be one of the easiest. The MCU Pepper has bare feet, and they could repaint the wasp head easily. The bodysuit would probably be painted, but if it was sculpted scales, could be reuse for Namora and Namorita. So the only new part would be webbed hands,

All of the members of Alpha Flight would be fairly easy to do except Puck. Aurora and Northstar would essentially be basic body repaints, the only new tooling would be heads. Shaman, as mentioned all the parts are already there, except needing a new head. Snowbird might require a little more work but not much, of course a new head for her as well. And Vindicator (heather) would once again be a basic body repaint with a new head.

I get they are lower tier characters than much of what we've got, but overall they are probably mid-tier in prominence, and since they don't require much new sculpting it wouldn't be too much to ask for 1-2 new members a year. That would put us on track for having a finished core team by 2022.

It would be different if we were asking for some of the members that require a bit more new parts - yeah Box I'm looking at you.

So do we have any actual release info on that Grey hulk?

Nothing concrete yet but everyone I've seen who got theirs in received it in the same kind of outer box that Hasbro usually puts Amazon exclusives in. Since it was first discovered on Amazon Mexico it feels safe to wager that he'll be at least Amazon exclusive.

Stopped by walmart at lunch today and fount these. Super Stoked.

Ugh, that's part of the team from that terribe look X-Men comic I tried to read. It made no sense to me. I also don't get Cyclops'... uh... visor? Eyes? Mask? Whatever the hell that thing is suppsoed to be. He looks like Racer X from Speed Racer.

Best.Cyclops.Ever. lol... well- not best- but it was a fun change-up... they all got weird looks. Supposedly the Racer X visor helped control his Optic blasts that got all wonky after that whole Phoenix5 mess. Anyways- haters gonna hate it but I think it's a fun footnote that gave him something cool outside the traditional visor he's worn since the get-go.

You’re right, Marrina would be easier than I thought. I was thinking a new head for the bulbous eyes she has. But a new body would be awesome if it meant more New Warriors.

I definitely agree with ya on that one! That’s probably my second favorite suit Scott’s wore. 2nd only to the Jim lee design. I still regret passing on that guy at tru.

So I made some hands for Shadow King. Later than a bunch of you but I'm glad I finished some kind of custom. I couldn't find Caliban hands or Monster Venom hands for a reasonable price but these look cool to me. I think I just need to paint them or give them a wash and I'll be happy.

Found Hulk & the Wolverines at my LCS. Needed Laura for the BAF piece, and this was the first time seeing the Hulk 2-pack in person so I had to scoop it up. Glad to finally have the big guy. After leaving the LCS, I actually stumbled upon Emma at an actual Walgreen's. The store I went to had two of her, but the QC on the one I left behind was a complete mess. Make sure to check out the eye paint on the default head, paint splotches on the lower torso, and the one I saw had weird dots all over the face of the White Queen head. Good luck!

Well I was totally lost when I tried to read that story despite it being issue #1. First off, the terrible looking artwork didn't help matters as it made it next to impossible to really figure out what the hell was going on. Secondly, they never explained why the X-Men were being hunted by Shield nor why Magneto was working with Shield and wearing white. Third, Dormamu just shows up randomly in one of the issues wanting Magik. I was totally lost.

There was one mutant of the group that did have cool powers, but it's been so long since I tried to read them that I can't remember what they were. Of course, I also hadn't realized those books were written by Bendis when I bought them, so that explained a lot.

Totally, Totally, Totally Agree. That's why I have never purchased him.

Bachalo is amazing- easily one of my all-time favorites... so we'll just have to disagree there (but hey- art subjective and eye-of-the-beholder and all) But Uncanny X-Men (Marvel Now) was a direct fall-out from the massive event of the year AvX... So yeah- if you weren't reading all that I can get not understanding Uncanny X-Men #1

Which circles back to my complaint about modern day comics. Why the hell would you label something as issue #1 if you need to know boatloads of continuity that happened prior to that issue?

There's no such thing anymore as being able to just pick up a single issue and enjoying it without knowing hundreds of issues worth of backstory and then having to commit to picking up the next several issues just to get the full story. I hate it. I want to be able to just grab a single issue, read it, and enjoy it a complete tale.
