Pretty sure it's a new Puck - new head. Which is great, the other Puck was too small - though I could only tell from pictures since like most people never found enough to complete him.

They did say he has a new head, and he seems pretty nicely scaled from what we've seen. So I'm going to assume it's new, or at least so heavily retooled as to be new.

I’m almost certain we will get Firestar and FA Storm in 2020. Because Hasbro is starting to make some long overdue/Fan favorite characters as of late. with Storm either she’ll be a Walgreens like you said or possibly a GameStop exclusive. Either is fine with me since I never have trouble finding any of those specific store exclusives, but I wonder why Hasbro is dragging its feet on Firestar haha. I think they’re just doing it on purpose at this point just to keep people waiting(I’m 100% just joking if that’s no clear). There is legitimately no better time to be a ML collector ha.

They could be and I"m not joking. At this point those might be the two most overall requested figures and they hold something back to keep the line spicy year after year. But at some point it has to give. You can't keep keeping highly requested figures off the table year after year. I mean...you can....but it's not a good idea to.

But I'm not complaining. I mean, my top 10 just got decimated. I'm very pleased about how 2020 is turning out. Hasbro has been killing it year after year since 2016.

Edit: just read they said that the AF box set will go up for preorder tomorrow. I'm checking it at 12:01 am.

They said it'll go up for preorder on Amazon Canada tomorrow. Either that's a cheeky joke, or they're giving Canadians a head-start.

My only complaint (if you could call it that) is that I'd much rather prefer Heather's green Vindicator suit from Alpha Flight Vol. 2, in the late 90s, but mostly because it gives her a much more unique look from being essentially a gender-swapped Guardian with sunglasses.

Not that this will keep me from buying it, but still.

Having only recently completed my Sasquatch BAF I'm glad he's not part of the boxset, mainly because that would have driven the price of the set up. This reminds of the EE GotG comic set, it's not every member but it's a really good instant team set all the same. I want to say Puck looks partly new aside from the head, he doesn't look as small as the BAF going off of the in-box pic.

I'm not too sure how to feel about the Alpha Flight pack. I haven't even had the chance to buy Vindicator from the Wendigo wave yet and he's already obsolete now that he is getting a rerelease. Are they going to do any retools to Sasquatch? It's also gotta be a pretty expensive set given the picture I saw on Facebook.

Paid no attention to what? The Facebook post I saw only said, "Amazon Exclusive" and showed a picture of 8 figures together.

Also, that's not Guardian, that's Vindicator. If you need me to, on Monday after my convention I'll take a picture from the pages of my X-Men books where he says his name is Vindicator several times.

Look. I know that he's been called Vindicator before in the comics. Hell, he was Vindicator in the X-Men animated series. He and Heather have swapped codenames between each other a few times. But these figures are being marketed with Hudson being Guardian, and Heather being Vindicator. Hell, his single-packed box SAYS "Marvel's Guardian", and at the panel they referred to Heather as Vindicator, which I'm sure it says on the box set as well (no clear images of the box yet). This ain't even deep-cut Marvel knowledge.

EDIT: I see that we do now have a better photo of the box (thanks for the link, sh002) and it does indeed call out Heather as Vindicator

As a child of the 80's Alpha Flight and New Mutants were new, and fresh and follow from the very beginning. This is the best news for me evah.

Puck is a redeco, not a new mold - same size as the BAF. Even sans Marrina and Talisman, this is a very welcome reveal.

But yeah Alpha Flight's a REALLY good sign that they're making efforts to complete teams. Actually could they possibly give a more clear sign than that? So we'll see. With this set my Alpha Flight needs are taken care of. I mean, I wouldn't turn down Marrina, Talisman or Box but they're not even on my radar.
