Maybe it's because I think the set is fairly priced as is and it's something I want so the idea that it's headed for heavy discount down the road is irrational to me.
I discovered the rotating 'X's when my thumb brushed over one of them as I was checking her shoulder articulation and for a split second I was worried that something was broken. Given the other QC issues I already had with the figure that would have been too much to handle.

Thing is, I collect lots of different types of figure lines, all more expensive and less likely to see discounts/price drops/sales than legends.

You don't have to explain yourself, man. While I don't bargain hunt, I also know plenty of people on this thread that do. The thread, at times, gets fixated on a random comment like yours. It isn't necessarily a debate over the merits or spirit of what you wrote, but the occasional skipping of a persnickety record.

Do whatever you need or want to do in collecting. While there's no shortage of toy "experts" here, there's also no manual for the hobby and I wouldn't put much stock into many things posted here. I don't worry at all about the collections of others, or how people go about gathering figs and neither do most of the people commenting - it's just something to talk about.

Gamestop is having big a clearance sale. There are several ML figures for $5. A lot show up when you search, but they aren't all in stock online. You can get the whole Captain Marvel wave for $35 if you are interested.

Picked up one of my orders and saw that the Junkrat and McCree figures are out at Gamestop already. They look sweet.

Double check any figures because some aren't marked with yellow stickers but MIGHT be on clearance. It's any figure $29.97 and under AND also on clearance that is $5. Not just Legends but any action figures.

So I'm late to the boards today - D23 didn't reveal any new figures right? Just movie information and upcoming conventions? I guess we have to wait until October until the next reveal (less than 2 months however will we survive! :p)

Ain't it fun how within two days the Sasquatch BAF is suddenly $60 at the least on eBay. At $35-50 prior I felt that he was underrated but wow that was quick.

The Puck BAF has already dropped drastically after people were selling him for like 200 bucks a few days ago.

I never finished the Kree Sentry wave so I'm stoked to say this sale prompted me to lol. I never finished the M'Baku wave so now I'm only two figures away.

The only figure I wish I could have found was an Old Man Logan for a project.

Chance sales like this are the kind of sales I thought the discussion was referring to for the last page or two. Not just a few dollars off retail but giant markdowns. There's no way to anticipate it but sometimes we get lucky.
