One step closer to my 80's X-Men team...
https://i.postimg.cc/zGFyF3B9/IMG-7573.jpg I am cheating with the blast effect until I can figure out a good way to paint the chest. Does anybody have a suggestion? Waterslide decals maybe? My hands aren't steady enough to paint freehand concentric rings evenly. |

I've never made my own decals but I have applied them. You'll want to get some Micro Set and Micro Sol solutions to apply the decals. The Micro Set will give you time to move the decal into position while the Micro Sol will help the decal conform to the figure's chest. After everything is dry and to your liking, you'll want to cover the decal with some kind of a clear coat paint to help protect it. I've used Testers Semi Gloss Clear paint (the kind you brush on). If you look around on Youtube, you should be able to find some videos that can talk you through applying the decals. You'll definitely need to do some research for making you own decals. I haven't taken that step yet myself so I can't talk you through it. But read up on the type of decal paper you need for your printer and the clear coat spray you'll need to keep the ink from running off the paper. Again, I would suggest looking on Youtube for some guidance. The only thing I can tell you for certain is use white decal paper, not the clear. As for the symbol, you should be able to make one in Microsoft Word (or Pages if you have a Mac) using the shapes tool. I made this simple one in less time than it's taken me to type all of this. https://i.imgur.com/2WejXEth.png?1 You're welcome to use the one I made or you can make your own. Which ever you choose, print out a few extras in case you mess one up and need to start over. |

New user!
Hey all! New member here, just signed up so I'll fill out the rest of my profile in a bit. Anyway, had a quick question. I went figure hunting a few days ago in my area (Spokane, WA/Post Falls, Idaho) and went to all the usual places, Walgreens, Target, etc... Anyway, when I went to the Walgreens I found a baffling number of the costumed Namor figures at the various Walgreens. Like, A TON. I think I counted around 7 at one store alone. Odlly enought they all had the same amount of dust on them. With that said, what's the deal with how these figures are distributed? Is there like a local distribution center for all the various stores within a certain mile radius? I also found a crap ton of Black Ants and Yellow Daredevils at the various Walgreens as well.
Anyway, it was a good day. Grabbed Nightcrawler, Sinister, and X-Force Wolverine. |

Also, nice score and welcome to the boards! |

Regarding your Walgreens' clogging figures, it's really just that they were all Walgreens exclusives. So whenever they got them in they probably got in more than one case of each which means they had like 12 or so of just that Namor at one point and since it wasn't a figure a lot of people wanted they've just been sitting there gathering dust ever since. There isn't a single facility which doles out all Hasbro product for the area, rather each store has its own warehouses and distribution centers which is also why not every store is equally caught up on what's new. It's not uncommon though to see a lot of a store exclusive peg-warming at multiple locations because they get those in cases of nothing but that exclusive, and then at Walgreens they can stick around for years because they rarely ever clearance them out. |
Question for those of you that have the Walgreens Emma, does her head fit on the neck of the Odin BAF Scarlet Witch/Enchantress body? Considering attempting a custom of Emma in her Astonishing outfit and would like to use the upper torso from one of those figures if no seriously modding is required.

For those of you who have the Rocket Raccoon series Jean Grey what will you do with her when you get the New 3 Pak Jean?

Does anyone have the Iron Man 2 Legends War Machine?
I'm wondering how it compares next to the AoU and Civil War ones. I've been eying the ones on ebay and kinda tempted just to have a more... beefy WM next to the Endgame ones. |

I've been eyeing the IM2 and Civil War WMs myself because I want to try and make a custom WM Punisher. The CW WM is pricier than I thought he would be. Didn't realize he was a Target exclusive.

If Hasbro can make a 90s X-Factor version of Havok and Polaris after making them in their original costumes, then surly they can do the same for Wolfsbane.

For now, I have Phoenix with the neutral head sculpt from the TRU 2-pack as a placeholder, which is still accurate to the 90s cartoon. |
This may be the wrong thread to ask and if so I apologise, but does anyone here own one of the ML MK3 War Machine bootlegs? If so how's the overall quality of it in your opinion and is there anything one should be aware of. I'm mainly concerned about the sculpt loosing detail, quality of the plastic/resins used or issiues with scale being off. I figure since I only want a CW MK3 WM for customizing, it makes no since to shell out $40 for a figure that will in all likelihood loose value once whatever mods have been made.

Just saw images of what looks like another "best of" series of Legends figures sighted in Europe. Nothing new figure wise that we haven't see before, but what's fascinating is that these are featured on blister cards minus BAF parts. They almost look like KOs, but they have been confirmed to be authentic Legends figures, which has me both wondering (and hoping) if Hasbro is planning on moving to a packaging style like this in the near future. I really think the Legends brand could use a packaging refresh, and I think these would also do well in helping to combat the re-packer and swapper vermin out there. |

Doubtful. Remember, Hasbro stated a while back that they're moving away from using as much plastic in the packaging, and reiterated that very recently.
I do wish there was a way to deter swappers while keeping the aesthetics of the current packaging. I really appreciate it (and have a collection of art clipped from the box sides that I like having order in) |
