Got the Havok 2 pack from Gamestop... they had 3 and only one of them had nice paint apps on Havok's facemask... glad I didn't have to order it and probably get one with the blue paint bleeding a little bit over the skin area. It was 45 dollars though... which kinda sux since the white suit Deadpool 2 pack which they also had was the regular 40 dollars price point.
They also had X-force Deathlok, a lone Retro Storm of all things and they restocked the Force Friday Black Series wave... the shiny Inquisitor Sister is really nice... first time I saw one of the shiny figs in person. Even if you gotta pay more for stuff I will miss Gamestop when they are gone... just don't know how they will survive when hardly anyone is buying used games from them anymore. |

I hope this sells well to encourage Hasbro to get with the program. The 3.75" pretty much nailed it... |

Jesus, someone on TFW posted a video review of the Havok/Polaris pack and Havok's hands are awful. There is a huge gap between the hands and the arm as the arms are too thick, so you are looking at the end of the joint where the hands plug in. It's very distracting. Wow, what the fuck, how did Hasbro not notice that?
|
^ First thing I noticed was the small hands, but you can't really tell when you put the effects on him and to me Havok always has his arms out shooting his effects.
I don't really like how small his head is though... and Polaris too. His head is slightly smaller like how Nightcrawler's head is on the small side. Like standing right next to Multiple Man you can see Multiple Man's head is bigger. And of course Quicksilver has a giant head for some reason. I really wish they all had the same scale heads. Still... I think it is amazing we have a fully articulated 90's Havok figure after all this time. |
Bummer to hear about those gaps on Havok. I'll still be happy to get them. I am half debating getting a second Polaris (or full set if needed) to try to make an X-Factor Wolfsbane. It won't be 100% accurate, but I'm thinking of putting the Wolfsbane head and hands (from Dani) on the Polaris body. I also have extra fur cuffs from the latest Black Cat that I would put on the legs and arms and paint them brown. It might make a passable Wolfsbane for now.
Any thoughts? |

Side note: Damn, that Lockjaw. I really want that but that's a lot. I might consider it down the line though. At first when I saw the August release date I got all excited for a moment thinking it's right around the corner! And then I realized...no, it's October you fool, that's 10 months away. |
Bold move of Hasbro to make a Marvel Legends figure of the President.
