So word on the street is the Amazon exclusive Iron Man Hall of Armor set was up last night but is currently sold out. Can't confirm but if it's like the GI Joe Renegades and Retaliation exclusives, they went in and out of stock frequently the first couple of days it was live then they site-warmed for months and months until being clearanced.

The X-Men for the most part, their costumes are iconic as a team with only a handful of exceptions to this(because of how the majority first appeared within the X-Men books as new recruits/students). Each character premiered generally as some connection to the team, hence why they have the similar uniforms that reflect the overall school. The same is true about the FF. The unity and family nature of their team dynamic is what defines them. The Avengers, New Warriors, among other teams though are more iconic as separate characters that came together for various reasons that then formed a team bond because of those reasons. Hence for the most part their hero costumes stay more unique to themselves barring out of civ outfit enhancements or mild additions like the jackets. They are more like friends that share a domicile occasionally. So they each remain having their own independent attire. It really varies team to team, but the avengers shouldn't get full on team costumes. It just doesn't work to their core as a team and what each element stands for. |
Picked up Cloak from my LCS, what are the odds that Dagger won't be hard to get as well A-Bomb? Kind of glad that this line is going the way it is, the way that Hasbro has been putting them out. Also I really do like the new GR re release colors, might swap them out if I see him at retail.

What do you guys think of the toybiz Zzzax figure? Do you think it can blend in with the MU Hulk villains?
http://www.watchcartoononline.com/av...ked-out-heroes AVENGERS ASSEMBLE NEW EPISODE. I really liked this episode, it was like one of the games I'd play with my figures when I was a kid. Everybody gets hulked and goes after the Hulk and Widow assists. Wish they didn't try to make it all batman with the color desaturation. Batman is Batman, it sucks when anyone else but SPAWN tries to be Batman. Now I'm a Marvel for life guy, but you got to give DC Batman. |
Damn, that sounds like a fun episode. I keep forgetting to set my DVR to record Avengers Assemble, so I'll have to catch it online or as a rerun.
And totally agreed on DC/Batman. I just saw a sports magazine cover on the newsstand yesterday talking about a sports "top four super team" or something like that (I wish I could recall the name of the mag or the way the title was phrased) and all four guys had painted-on shirts mimicking different superheroes. The funniest part? Three out of the four were Marvel. And not a single one of them was Superman. |

it was a basketball shoe mag named kicks, it had brandon jennings, raymond felton, kemba walker and greivis vasquez wearing under armor shirts |
cloak is up for sale at hasbro just a heads up

It also explains why I thought the "costumes" might be painted-on, since UA shirts leave no room for the imagination. |
