I once came home to an epic 40 figure domino effect. thats why i use their stands now. not cause i want to but they work as a wall as an insurance policy.

Optimus Vader 10-17-2011 05:22 AM

My GB Frost Giant took out my Hydra squad, and Classics Skywarp, on Saturday.

Fortune 10-17-2011 06:01 AM

You know I have only had problems with one figure period. Tigatron is a bit of a shelf diver for some reason.

The ankles on mine are pretty strong, but he'd slowly start kind of doing a split (feet would slide outwards) because he's so top heavy, and eventually he'd pass out from the groin pain. I added some Quakehold to stop the sliding feet, which held him in place for a good month until this past weekend... no idea who attacked him either, Thor is actually on a different shelf.

Well Thor can throw Mjolnir, so maybe he saw the opportunity for a hilarious "nut shot" and took it. And then just sat and laughed from the safety of his own shelf as the frost giant took a dive? ;D

By the way, does anyone here have the exclusive Nick Fury that was offered on some of the earlier figures package? I haven't seen anyone here post very many photos of it. I wish they'd make a general release of it, I don't care how cool Samuel L is, He isn't Nick Fury, Nick Fury is white, with wavy brown hair, not black and bald.

Do Boy 10-17-2011 09:18 AM

I like a bald Nick fury better.

Here's mine, with some poorly customized SHIELD agents.

I agree, he really needs a general release. Way too important of a character to leave as an exclusive from 3 years ago.

I can understand the concept of you like what you like, so I can't really judge you on that.

But why? For me changing something that I grew up to know one way into something that is completely different bugs me. Plus it brings up a whole other relm of discussion.

If they made a movie with Luke Cage, or Blade and made him white, people would get all bent outa shape, Jesse Jackson and Al Sharpton would be in front of theaters boycotting marvel movies and shit. But it's ok to take a white character and cast him as a black guy? Like when they made Kingpin black in the Dardevil movie. Although that movie was terrible mostly because of Ben Affleck and couldn't have been good anyway.

By the way i'm not some kind of racist, I just dont like when they change stuff for whatever lame reason they come up with.

This is your answer lol. But it's prolly mainly because I didn't grow up with Fury. So the first time I saw him, Truly saw him was Sam

I still don't know why they don't use silver to make it uniform.

I believe (I could be wrong) that the grey is more comic accurate.

i grew up in the 80's and 90's and Nick Fury was always white, In fact there was a arcade game that came out in the 90's that was badass as hell, and I'd always opt to play as Nick Fury, because he was just that sick. Punisher was cool, but Nick was a seasoned war dog, who could do it better than anyone.

It's all a matter of perception, if my first vision of Nick was Sam L then I gues i'd be more inclined to like him, but changing somthing that i've know to be one way for 20 years is pretty annoying to me.

Isn't Fury Black in The Avengers: EMH?
